Heyho vlado i have also the s3neo and i had also have the same problem so if u wanna fix that go to the playstore download the ES file explorer. For the next step download a bootsamsung.qmg ther are a view at the site 4shared.com now go in your Es file explorer and swich on the rootexplorer so the app can change the system files go /device/system/media and there u will delete the S5bootanimation.zip then u go to there where ever u have downloadet the bootsamsung.qmg folder and copie the bootsamsung.qmg into /device/system/media!!! Thats it so for explaining why u couldn't flash the bootanumation.zip: Our device is only working with qmg files idon't no why but its so. If u want i could upload the original .qmg file fore u

I flashed the zip file on my gt-i9301i but the boot animation takes long time and the boot music finish playing and the boot animation still running for a while /how can i fix this???!

Does anyone know where I can get the black xperia boot animation from wolfs' 3.5 rom. Update 3.7 changes it to another version but i much prefer the black one. So if anyone knows how to get it, pls share.

if u have any of wolf's old Rom like v3 then in that go to /system/media inside there is bootanimation.zip file jus copy .... paste it in the same location in ur current rom ..
p.s better try extracting it in ur pc first then jus copy the bootanimation in ur sd and from there u can copy it !!

Hey guyz i have ported the Modern warfare 3 boot animation avalaible for various smartphones.Now you can have it on your galaxy 5 as well.
How to
1) Download the boot animation from this link (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CT3ND1C8)
2) copy it to your SDCARD root (copy as it is please do not extract)
3) Use root explorer to paste this file in System/media folder (remember to mount as r/w)
4) reboot and enjoy.
I am willing to port many boot animations if my work gets acknowledged so please hit thanks button if u like my workd and do post with any requests of boot animations to be ported.

You need a custom rom to do this and also need to name it 'bootanimation' and rename the default one 'bootanimationOLD' (or similar) for it to use the custom one?

Hey bro i tested it in stock JPL and it did work so i guess theres no problem with stock roms but anyways thnx for sharing..

Well bro i had it on my Galaxy 3 before i got a g5 and it was same in tht too not fit in the screen

you just download apps rom toolbox from playstore .
it has a lot of bootanimation there .
you also can creat your own boot animation fron .gif image file

if u want to change bootanimation on stock rom u need to do it manually..
follow this guide if u want bootanimation on stock

to change boot animation on samsung, u need to replace to bootanimation and samsungi files in /system/bin before u can add ur zip to /system/media
this is because samsung uses qmg files
just search up how to change boot animation in samsung, and u will find these files, they work on every samsung device

You could use Aroma File manager or restore clockworkmod backup(if you have one)

here is what you can do instead of flashing the whole stock rom..
take systemui.apk
and take any flash-able zip for 5830i
and extract the zip
and delete all folder except for META-INF folder..
make a new folder named as 'system' and in system make another folder 'app'
now paste the systemui.apk in app folder..
zip it and flash it via cwm recovery..
(in zip there will be two folder, META-INF and system)

finally, it works very well
the old cwm bootanimation enabler for jb , it causes only black screen, this method for note3 it works also for we
s4 mini i9195 4.44 with root

Do you also know a method to revert the mod so you can go back to stock bootanimation? The enabler/disabler I found are all for 4.22 JB and don't work for 4.42 Kitkat anymore.

Here is the stock bootanimation 4.4.2 KK. unzip and replace the bootanimation in System / Bin. you must change the permissions and go.
