Use revolution version, and read carefully before flash anything.
Wifi not working in cm12 latest official build nd im using shockgensmod v5 but anyway its a great kernel:thumbup:

:good: thanks xperiafan13 for providing us such an awesome kernel , but still i am using other custom kernel . the reason is this kernel doesn't have
1) swipe 2 wake feature
2) double tap to wake feature:laugh:
3) swipe2sleep feature :angel:
please, i am a big fan of your kernel and i want you to include these 3 features too , in your kernel . this is the best kernel , so make it the best , i hope you'll soon response to this request post . Thanks

No problem whatsoever. but remember to reflash the kernel everytime u flash a custom Rom.
I have two questions.
1 - kernel has f2fs support?
2 - what is the best governor?

had not realized just this topic, I just saw your requests, not within my plans to add features to desperter screen, the only worsen the performance, but maybe I can make a version with this, the best governor is interactive, it is best based on readings cpu.

Flashing DorimanX kernel
Hi, I'm sure I'm going to appear like an idiot here, but I've been trying to flash the DorimanX kernel to my Galaxy s2, and I keep running into errors. My phone is running JB 4.1.2. I also am not 100% sure about the model number. If I go into the about section in settings, it says that it is a GT-I9100, but behind the battery, the sticker says GT-I9100T. I've installed CWM via odin, using the Jaboo kernel, and tried installing multiple varients of the DorimanX kernel. I've tried installing v10.66, v9.43, 8.43, and v7.46. Every time I have tried installing it, I always enter some sort of boot loop. With the 8.43 it goes to the Samsung splashscreen, and just keeps looping the splashscreen, and never starts up. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.

I'm new to Dorimanx kernel and i'm happy with the stability and battery usage.
But I have one question : does this kernel has FM Radio support? Because I use Omni 4.4.4 (11-2014) and Dori .44v006 and I can't get to work Spirit2 FM one my S2. The app starts, I give it root permission then Spirit get Stuck at "Please wait" ... Some of you use Spirit here?
Now there is a new free version of Spirit2 for everyone.

It has:
CONFIG_FM_RADIO=y
CONFIG_FM_SI4709=m
I presume that's the Samsung Silicon Labs driver, and not the V4L driver.
Changing it to "CONFIG_FM_SI4709=y" may be better, "=m" makes it a module that needs to be loaded.
Spirit1 has about 5 different ways to load the module, LOL. But Spirit2 does not because pretty much all kernels in the last year at least did not use a module for FM; they were built right into the kernel.
We have better as it possible as well with SGS 2!
I'm totally agree with you opinion! That's right and also i haven't reason to buy a new phone right now! Just waiting for a few times to got a stable - one release of lollipop and be patient / happy at the same time!!!
I had a question, i want to learn about it, but i can not really find info.
I am using the latest Slimsaber built and the dorimanx kernel.
When you flash the kernel, at the first boot it does some optimalizations to the phone. What does it do?
And second question is, ( after i delted the contacts app ) i went to the phone options and chose to do a factory reset.
But this time it booted, it does not do any optimalizations or something but i still do have the same kernel obv.
Do i need to reflash the kernel after a restore?

I don't know how 10.44v005 would perform on Spirit Rom by @Nico60 ....but I must say i've got 170+ hrs of uptime right now and if there wouldn't be an update foe me....I wouldn't even think of rebooting my device.....yes....it's that much stable.....but....you need to give it a go and see for yourself....that's the only way....

I don't use it....exactly beacause it's causing battery drain....it drains battery for approx 5% more...if enabled....it's neat feature but costs a lil' bit more battery juice
Ext4 mount problem
My sdcard0 is in ext4 and wouldn't mount with this kernel. By searching a bit in the thread I could see that I was not alone in this case.
However I found that I could still mount the partition manually so I hacked a little script in /etc/init.d to mount sdcard0 on boot and it seems to work for now.
I use this build: Kernel_Dorimanx-V10.44v007-cybnt-[11-49]-[26-12]-JB-SGII-PWR-CORE
on CM11 - M2 for i9100

Emm, fly, do you know how to fix the incompartibility issue? I can't run the sys with your kernel now, though i could do it before. One max, Neos Adrenaline 1.9, soff, twrp 2811 from here. Any solutions? If what, i could try capturin a logcat.

Kernel is more designed around Verizon source. I may update the kernel in the near future. No sure yet but will try to better support intl variants.

The kernel already has OC

Sad thing fly, kernel is a no-go. Did only a dirty flash without cache wipe, will attempt to do a clean and a sterile one later. Maybe, full wipe with internal storage included should do the job. A least, it does not lag the bootanim like the 2.3 ver. Also, the bootloop happens right after the phone accepts the SIM. I am using the UA gsm, and the build.prop says that the region is US, so the possible problem is in the build.prop. Well, will do further tests and report back.

What kernel/recovery are you trying to flash it from? If it's an older one aka from when the z2 was first released it could be based on another device, try to flash it from doom kernel or you could try and push it over adb from your computer via fastboot or flash mode, whichever it is I can't remember

You cannot use this kernel on stock, the ROM you use it in has to be cm or cm based.
i have a custom rom AICP and aicp is a aosp/cm/aokp rom not stock based so this kernel will work most probably, but i dont think my rom has this feature,double tap to wake, i couldnt find it. i read the kernel has to support so maybe my rom kernel doesnt, but does the M5 kernel support double tap to wake up?

Superb! just flashed it, it worked but i get a weird error on every boot saying system.ui has stopped working but after that all works, must be xposed over-tweaking ill check..... and also, how do i activate double tap to wake? im a noob at this and i dont know if i need some sort of a kernel management app to do it, do i?
EDIT: the M5 settings apk did the trick just fine.

The i9100g thread seems to have little development for android 4.4 based custom kernels. After reading some posts and the OP, it should work.

Sorry, my fault!The Kernel works with slim kat 4.4.4 but root is gone.
So the automatic root function oft slimkat does not work any more.
Someone an idea how to fix it easy?

All are facing " #Low_Volume_Bug " in that ROM..
So plzzzzz help and make a Patch for it.
Flashing #Dolby_Atmos is not Solving the issue..

And we booted it and ported it without Lollipop kernel..
And we don't have source..and we will improve the build as this get solved

They are the source bugs...
And will try working on them
Next version will be updated at any time, please solve the problem of power consumption, the camera can not be displayed in the drawer, every time to restart the camera will stop running, you need to restart the soft restart to solve, so that I am very distressed, especially power consumption issues, I hope you can solve.
