I'm not sure if it's just me but did any of you guys get a charging cable with your LG G3 for Sprint that doesn't really stick in the charging port very well? It's always falling out of my phone and doesn't seem to connect very well. Just curious, I really don't mind buying a new cable but was wondering if it was an issue with all of them
Haven't noticed any problems with mine.
I've never had an issue with the cable itself, but from day one, always had to push connector in phone, at a slight angle.

I would recommend exchanging it or having a sprint tech check the port to see if its faulty. I've slid my plugged in phone off of my nightstand and the cable kept it from hitting the floor.
Mine stays in the phone but falls out of the wall
I appreciate the feedback, im guessing i's just the particular one that came with the phone. I bought it full price at Best Buy
Maybe it's because of the outlits. I use a power strip with no problem.

I just got my first Android phone, an LG Optimus T from eBay. I'm loving it, however the touchscreen is extremely flaky while the phone is charging. Googling this problem suggests that this is a common problem with cheap phone chargers.
The eBay ad said that the phone was basically new and that the box would contain all of the things that it came with. The charger that was in the box, in an opened plastic bag has no LG branding anywhere on it. It does not have a USB port on the charger, just a permanent cord with the MicroUSB plug on the end. It just has a small label that says "Travel Charger/Type TGR-025/Input:AC110V-240V/OutputC 5V-12V".
My question is: Is this the charger that came with the phone when it was brand new in the T-Mobile packaging? Or, did the seller send me a crappy charger in the original box instead of the real deal? Is there anyone here who bought the same phone direct from T-Mobile and can clarify what their charger looks like?
Thanks for any help you can offer. Based on your responses, I will take this up with the eBay seller and get it made right.

I ordered two chargers from ebay, and both of them have USB ports on them that you plug a USB cable into (with a microUSB at one end). Sounds like you did NOT get everything that came with it, and you should complain to the seller/ask for some money back.
I got the T-Mobile Optimus T phones (which are identical to the Optimus One), but I don't know if they come bundled with the exact same chargers or not.
Same problem
I have the original charger and i have the same problem with the touchscreen when i charge the phone...
any solution? or its a bug of the software?
when I use my friends htc desire data/charger cable to connect my phone to pc to charge, the touch screen goes retarded. but when I connect my own cable, the phone works perfectly. so it could be either the cable or charger.
the original charger comes with a small sticker that says travel adaptor and there us an lg logo in front of it.
hey everyone. ive been playing with webtop and i noticed that if my hdmi cord comes out of the phone. even the slightest bit. the screen cuts out and i have to press it back it. like. this is such a slight amount a small bump could trigger it. is anyone else having this issue? (also. i cant figure out if its the cable or the phone... )
That's odd for sure. My cable holds very firmly in place. My phone even slid off my tv stand one day and hung by the cable and everything still functioned. I would think its the casing on the Atrix might not be right or the cable might not be reaching all the way in ie cable was manufactured too short on the plug end. If you have a friend with an Atrix try out their cable if not call moto they might send a replacement but that idk never heard of anyone calling about that.
But thats just my 2 cents

So I was charging my phone and using it at the same time...and the charger doesnt stay in. its so loose....anyone else have this problem?
When my wife and I first got our Captivates her connection was really loose and would fall out. It turned out to be the plug itself, so maybe you can take it back to where you bought it from and ask for a new one.
This is my third Samsung android phone (captivate and nexus s), and it seems to be a common issue. I think its the cable though, as an HTC cable is nice and snug.

Have you tried plugging in another cable yet? Micro USB is a pretty common cable these days.
No problems with loose connections here.
In MicroUSB, the springs are moved from the device to the cable - so try another cable.
I just bought a new aftermarket power cord from Walmart that is made to work with my EVO 3D. I know it works because this cord is to replace another one I left in a hotel room of the same make that worked just fine.
Anyway, when I plug the phone in using this one, the touch screen will no longer work at all. Neither will the capacitive buttons. Yeah, I know, weird right? I can see my homescreen just fine, just touch doesn't work.
Any ideas what might be causing this odd behavior?
I had this happen with a china cord I bought. They gave me my money back

i've seen this happen before with non O.E. cables,
I have been told its due to improper voltage, Same thing happened when I purchased a new USB cable off amazon that was advertised to work with the device.
I picked up a $10 micro usb cable from microcenter to use in my car with my iGrip car dock, and have not had any problems with it at all. Because my car sucks, I use my phone as my speedometer, and with it connected, it doesn't charge, but doesn't drop in charge either, so I call that a win. I blame the usb adaptor/connector/charger that I'm using, personally.
Is anyone else having problems with the charging port not staying tight? When I first got the phone the original charger worked fine. Over time it loosened up, and I understand that. But it got to the point where it didn't charge. So I've been using an old cable. I went to Verizon the other day and took the original cable with me and they exchanged it for a new one(their brand of course). Well the other night, the old cable I've been using to transfer stuff to my phone is to the point where if you move it any it disconnects from computer. And tonight the new cable I got a couple days ago is loose. it's still working though. When I first got it it fit tightly in there. I've been extra careful not to pull it out at any angles or anything.
Try this cable
Try this cable. Works very well for me. Search ebay for:
