Can some body give me the link of 'double tap to wake and double tap to sleep' feature?
This feature can't be enabled or made to work in Micromax A116 because it is a kernel based feature and our kernel doesn't supports this. However you can use 'double tap to sleep' feature of you are rooted. Use xposed module and then either use DoubleTapToSleep module or Gravity Box(includes other great features too).
Press Thanks if I helped you.
Yes, I've rooted it and installed a custom ROM based on KitKat. I'll try to use it.
Sorry for the second post.
But, can you please give me a link to that type of kernel?
You didn't understand my words I suppose. I told that there isn't any kernel with these features for our phone but you can use the above mentioned modules to enable DoubleTapToSleep in any rom no matter which kernel it uses.
Reply back if you got it or I didn't answer your query correctly.
Press Thanks if I helped you.
Yeah, I've understood, kinda newbie in using those modules. But let's try it.
I suppose every thing worked for you perfectly.
A small suggestion from my side for you since you are new to xda that whenever you reply back to post always quote the previous post in order to make the post author recieve a notification. This makes a better chance that the participant will see your query surely.

EDIT: This occurred when I launched the apk.

Firstly install xposed installer to allow the modules to work.

If you don't have the option on the righthand-bottom side (Ruisonderdrukking=Noise Reduction) after you press the menu button during call then your Rom doesn't support it I Guess. I am on stock rom 2.3.6 (I9100XXKH3).

What bramandroid said. That said - what ROM are you on? Stock? (which I doubt, because a stock ROM would have this option) If not, you will probably have to find a phone.apk compatible with your ROM that has this option.
First thing we need to know is exactly what ROM you are currently running.
EDIT: Look at what user toxicdust posted just today (1/12/2012). It DOES involve popping open the phone, which can be a daunting task, but it offers a permanent solution without mucking with firmwares, apk's, or any custom ROMs. I intend to try this out this weekend, as I currently have a software solution (custom phone.apk with NR turned off by default), which works fine, but I would like the phone to work with NR enabled, as it is one of the reasons I bought the phone in the first place.
hi,just flash the new ICS ROM with my GS2,

thanks for the recommend....but miui is not my type....
I am also using Foxhound, I think some of the screenshots he has up are from a recently posted version as my previous version looked that way. Raff might be able to provide you another systemiu that could fix this. Or if you wanted, flash a previous version of Foxhound. Octacon v1 had the recently used apps looking the same way as you want to and is a stable ROM. Its available for download still on his download link. I think it was only changed in the most recent ROM.

Would TizenMod be optional or would we need a custom recovery? If it's not possible I'll tell him no and sorry, but if it is possible and you have a T-Mobile make Gear S and are beta testing development inclined and would like to join in send him a pm saying you'd wanna help beta test it...

I'm uploading a rootfs.img based on OA7 update. It isn't rooted for now.
1st extract the tar from the zip package;
2nd flash the tar with odin and check if all is ok;
3rd try to install one of this apps and tell me if them can be installed https://www.mediafire.com/folder/3f...wcbk8v,d6g36huc619gj9b,hqxpch1eph66tcf/shared
THIS IS THE ROM (https://mega.nz/#!mxgB1DBY!I12kYrvz_dHP4sC8v4dd4jilDTbendOElpE3pj_oxVQ)

Report any findings here in this thread. So we can all see if they're individual bugs striking a certain user or universal bug happening to all users.
Successful odin flash, nothing went wrong, watch was rooted and now it's not rooted again, but I couldn't try sideloading any apk's @Skin1980 requested cause Opera Mini wouldn't load the page correctly.
_
Whoops at my silly newb ass sideloading his preselected apk's from phone to gear fails rn...
Open Invitation to Any Other Gear S T-Mobile Users
See if you can get Skin1980's app's to load, this is based off of OA7 Firmware install as you'd normally install any odin firmware.
Maybe someone in here can help me he needs a app that was installed with Gear Manager and Galaxy App Store, I can't find where those app's are located since they don't show up in the app drawer or app manager on my phone, he needs a pulled one so I can he can compare the installs and see why sideloading apk's are failig rn with unknown sources allowed in Gear Manager, would Gear Tasks work or if anyone has a pulled app from the app store they could upload and send to him that would be great.

Awesome thanks.
Hello everyone!
I had the MX ROM version 8.6 and I decided to upgrade to 8.9... All right until then.
But I have a problem with this new version and is that how the title says this post I can not view incoming or outgoing calls on my Z2
I have to clarify that yes can enter and exit calls, the problem is that I can not answer or reject them. It is as if they were always in the background, I can do any action (like opening an application, seeing pictures, listening to music, etc.) but not seeing them.
To make it a little clearer.... I should leave this image when I make a call (screenshot of official version 8.9 in Chinese), but it does not come out, the call runs in the background and I can not do anything

I tried to install another dialer (Phone app like google) but the error remains, I have already reinstalled this ROM (MX ROM v8.9) several times so the problem is not installation and would not like to change ROM or downgrade to version 8.6. So I ask all those who know this to help me, I do not know where the error may be but I need help
I do not know how to solve this, but I strongly urge someone who has a Sony Xperia Z2 D6503 with Android 6.0.1 to pass all the services and phone app's that brings Sony Z2 default to try some solution.
Any help will be vital for me, my email is: [email protected] so someone can help me!! :crying::crying:
Thanks!!

The thing that come in stock android that shows an user icon on the top right and and can have multiple phone users with their own apps and user data.
For some reason some brands strip this feature from stock android. Is it present in the mate 10 pro?

It does. You assign a different finger print to it and when you unlock the phone, you get a different layout of your choosing. Is that what you mean?

Hey. Thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. I mean this:
EDIT: Looks like I can't post links due to being a new member. I hope it's not infringing the forum rules to do this. I mean the stock android feature that show up if you google:
Code:
android set up multiple users on same phone
I THINK it's the same. Can anybody confirm it's the same?

Yeah it is. It's just you have the extra bonus of being able to unlock that other profile with a different fingerprint.
Alright!
Thanks. I'm going to get one of these then. This feature was critical to me.
Here you go. Confirmation.
is it possible to have certain folders "shared" between users?
What is the difference between users created via this GUI and users created via PrivateSpace?
thanks in advance.
