I will be discussing about micromax's budget tablet
Micromax Funbook P360
Talking about specs. this tab has got decent power under hood
A 1 GHz single core cortex a8 Processor compiled with 1 gb ddr3 ram
It gives some decent performance..
A 7" WVGA TFT display ... not upto that Mark (Really )
Many of the users of this tab ate not satisfied with the performance
but with my tips and tricks you can get most out of this tablet ..
Rooting micromax Funbook P360
Most of the people say that funbook series comes pre- rooted but that's not applicable for this tablet
Rooting this tablet is a very easy task..........But it can be rooted only through PC running windows
1Requirements
A. A windows PC
B. Funbook P360 (of Course)
C. KingoROOT software...search on google (even Unlockroot will work)
D. Data Cable
2Procedure
1.Open Kingoroot app on pc
2. head over to settings in your tab ....in developer options enable USB DEBUGGING
3. connect tab to pc via data cable.
4. kingoroot will detect your tab .... and will start rooting your tab ..
5. upon completion of rooting your tab will reboot and after rooting you will see an app in app drawer named SUPERSU
congrats your funbook is now rooted ,,,:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Could anybody post a rooting method for Micromax A25 please? I'm not sure of what I should do. Tried GingerBreak and z4root but they don't work.
Micromax has not provided drivers for A25. Does anybody have it? Please share.

I am able to play Playstation One and N64 games on this phone through emulators. The 1GHz processor under its hood is really giving this tiny smarty some power. Much more could be done if it were rooted. Somebody please help!!!

Micromax android smartphones are usually rooted with UnlockRoot. But I am unable to root A25 with it. It says ''failed to get shell root". Can anybody help?

New micromax has mt6515
The new micromax A25 has MT6515 processor . So the process for MT6575 is not working any more. Please help me some one, what can i do now?

THINGS YOU NEED:
*YOUR MICROMAX
*ORIGINAL USB CABLE
*DRIVERS FOR THE MOBILE
*A COMPUTER WITH AN INTERNET CONNECTION
*A SOFTWARE TO ROOT YOUR MOBILE (Preferably SuperOneClick)
*SPFLASH TOOL
WHAT TO DO:
Download all the files and extract all the archives.
insert the usb cable into the phone and into the computer
In your mobile enable “Usb debugging”. Do not enable “mass storage”.
Type “mmc devmgmt.msc” in start menu.
A window “Device Manager” will open. In that window you will see “UNKNOWN DEVICE” with a yellow triangle. Click it and you will see your mobile listed there.
Right click it and select properties.
In the drivers tab click update driver.
In the window that opens click "browse my computer for diver software"
Then browse to the folder “driver” you downloaded and extracted and install the mobile driver.
The remove the usb cable from the mobile and turn it off.
Wait till the mobile vibrates. Then remove the battery from the mobile.
Then insert the usb into the mobile without inserting the battery.
Device manager will refresh and show “OTHER DEVICES”->”MT65xx PRELOADER”.
Then right click and open its properties and install its driver as above. After this "SAFELY REMOVE" the mobile and reboot your device.
Then open the SuperOneClick folder and open SuperOneClick.exe. Then connect the mobile to the computer via the usb cable and then click root.
Your mobile is rooted now

Hi all, I'm from the Philippines and I currently bought a China tablet called TORQUE - DROIDZ FLASH. I want to root this tablet and install ROMS on it but How do I retrieve full info of the tablet with regards to Firmware, Hardware, Kernel, Original Manufacturer and other important information that may be used for a smooth rooting process and Rom installations.
The tablet doesn't have a developers config for debugging usb access... But when mounting USB drives, and using ADB, the tool has detected the device as 20080411...
I have used UNLOCK ROOT application for windows, and it detects it as Unknown Android Device, and when rooting it displays the message "Device already Rooted, Do you want to root again?"
If this is the case, I just needed to install CWM recovery (but how?) and determine the correct ROM to install...
Can anyone help me on this?

as per my knowledge on android OS we need to Go to Setting > about phone > and we able to see the complete information of your tab like android version , kernal information etc

Chinese tablets and smartphones usually are created on the popular soc (system on chip). In many china markets like pandawill, aliexpress, etc there are more or less complete desciptions for china devices. In this information you can find processor name/series. From another sources you can find usb drivers for this processor. After installation you can debug your Android app on your china-noname tablet. I have Freelander DP10, based on mtk6575. After unpack device from box, it was not "visible" by ps. After installation mtk65xx drivers (found somewhere in internet) i can debug app on my device. Hope, you can do the same.
Some sources says, that you have Rockchip 1.2 MHz processor. There are a lot of Rockchip usb drivers available

Istall first driver (message 23) and the all-mtk-usb-driver-2014 from drive.google.com/file/d/0B4Xbpe14jzSFLURrTk92aWZRN3c/edit (at the left you can download them).
Please enable USB debugging on your Lenovo A8-50 A5500 Android, to do that go to Settings > Developer Options (in options, iformation about phone (last one) , build (last one) tap it for 7 times and you will have the Developer Options path)
Download this driver to your computer (download link available at the end of this article), Extract using WinZIP or WinRAR, find a file "PdaNetA4150.exe" and launch it (Be sure to close all program).
Choose your phone model (Lenovo A8-50 A5500 Android), Select "Others" foe unknown made in China mobile phones.
Press the install button.
Now connect your Lenovo A8-50 A5500 Android android mobile phone, there will be a popup message say your phone is now connected. Finish the installation.
PS: Iroot or Vroot does not work.

The only way to root an estar tablet is..
I bought estar grand hd 10.1 before four months. Unfortunately, when i was try to install few of apps from PlayStore, all the apps are saved in internalstorage and i hanent way to transfer my apps to sd. I think that the only way to root your estar tablet is kingo root. After download, run the file as administrator, connect your tablet with pc via usb cable and follow a few very easy steps. If your device is rooted succesfully, it reboot automatically. After root, you must install supersu and link2sd from PlayStore.

Please provide the steps to install another OS in Micromax LT666, I tried to do but it is not allowing.
i am hard resetted my canvas laptab 666 touch is not working how to solve this

First of all download the lt666 driver zip and then unzip in a folder and put that folder in c drive.
After that go to settings>recover>advance startup
You system will startup in recovery boot menu
Under recovery boot tap on troubleshoot then tap on more ten tap on advance startup now your system startup by self then press f7 for unsigned driver installation now your system restart by self when window comes go to c drive where you copied driver folder open it and install batch file as administrator now then cmd opened and drivers will install by self now you have done just restart your pc and enjoy
