ive managed to get most my apps working fine
ive noticed facebook cant upload pictures but twitter can dont know if there is a batter facebook app that will upload pics..
on android i use transmision remote and zoneminder
but because of the limitations of the browser transmision cant authenticate doesnt ask for user pass and zoneminder logs in but cant load the cameras on a link
would they be good suggestions for scopes ? i think they could be straight forward to develop .. and would the creators of these apps be the people to talk to do you think?
or is there another browser available with auth built in?

hi,
i just developed one simple database app in RADPHP xe2, its a simple app which connects with mysql database on my webserver , and fetches one field and a list box is populated, it works fine on my browser, it even works perfect when i usb debug on my galaxy tab, it even works perfect when i deploy to apk via phonegap build, but when i edit my mysql database and then again run the app , it shows the old records and new records are not fetches, that means its showing me snapshot of my data, how to get live data via my app. Please guide.

So I'm looking for an android app that will let me upload pictures to a remote FTP server automatically, not necessarily sync with the phone but just upload the pictures and skip any that are of the same file name; this is not so hard to find.
But also (preferably in the same app) I need to be able to view the pictures on said FTP remotely and in a nice smooth way, perhaps some kind of forward buffer so that you can do a gallery.
Finally, I need to be able to view the pictures on the FTP server (and again, if in the same app - awesome!) and multi-select some of them to download back to the device.
Does anyone know if something like this exists? I want to avoid things like Picasa as I am concerned about security and I know my FTP server is in my house; not in 'the cloud'.
As a side thought:
Alternatively, I could store them on a remote FTP server where I have unlimited storage space but security is the issue here, I'd need to password protect and possible protect by using something to make sure only certain devices could access the files. But then, I need to be able to view it on my android phone; perhaps an HTML5 application could do this effectively.... I'd prefer to use an app though for viewing.
Although it is quite late, I just passed by and see that I have same problem as you before. And I use "SyncMe Wireless" to solve this problem. It's very fast (than cloud sync), and easy to use. Try it.
Hello,
I am looking for a WhatsApp alternative and thanks to the NSA scandal, there are many "secure" IM apps like Telegram, ChatSecure etc. popping up. Now I would like to know what is the best/most secure of them. Looking forward to your answer
Regards,
Random
chatsecure + orbot maybe?
read about Tor in general (deep web and all)
cant post links since im new, sorry 'bout that
OK, I tried ChatSecure, but I don't like the UI. What I need is an app that looks like WhatsApp (incl. Emojis) and is as secure as ChatSecure
I heard that Telegram isn't quite as secure, but is it sufficient if you combine end-to-end encryption with self-destructing messages?
I am making a similar research trying to find a really secure messenger for personal communication but unfortunately, most of the messengers store the data on their servers which automatically makes them insecure.
Wickr instant messenger
Have you heard about Wickr? Do you have any experience with it? Non of my friends use it but I read that it is "the most trusted messenger in the world" .
P2P Messenger
Do you know any peer-to-peer messenger?
Hi.
I am new to Android and am looking to solve a problem.
I want to create an Android app that has a login and that you can send messages back and forth with the people who use that app. Similar to the Facebook Messenger App. Also similar to Facebook, I want to users to be able to log in via a web-app in their browsers and view/exchange messages.
My idea was MySQL as the database that stores all of this information. The website will then be made with a PHP framework to access that MySQL data and similarly, I was thinking the Android App would read/write to that same MySQL Database.
I already proto-typed this and was able to create an android app that posts data to a process.php file I have sitting on a web server which then queries the MySQL database, and returns a JSON object back to the Android App for consumption. I followed this guide from Stack Overflow to accomplish this and it worked good. I also searched these forums and found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2325799 which seems to sort of do things the same way.
My question is:
1) Is this the right way to do things for an app I want to scale to 10,000 users? I want to ask the more experienced developers if this is how they would go about creating such an app. Is there a better way besides what I described? I am a noobie so this was the best way I could come up with from searching the internet.
Much Love,
MicroR

I have my cell phone has restricted access to facebook, I can't log to facebook either with app or with browser, it doesn't matter what browser I use, its blocked... everything else is working perfect
I use a custom chinese rom which is very good except for that issue,
I think the developer put some code for that
can I modify that?
