Hi! I'm not sure if I'm writing in the correct section. Can someone make a modified apk with changed emojis (if its possible to use my stock ones) of the latest Facebook Messenger app? They are really ugly. Thanks in advance.

Hey I'm wondering if its possible to have the stock android messaging app on the our SGSII? I really dislike the samsung one, hate the bubble colours and the text compose style it has, been using hand cent SMS instead but I've just been wondering if its at all possible to install the Stock android one instead.

You can install a Custom ROM based on AOSP like Gingermod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1220283
It contains the Android messaging apk and then you can customize it by adding the Samsung apps you want.

I just updated to CM11 and realized that there is now an option to use the Google emoticons in chats. (or maybe it's been there before and I never noticed...) Anyhow, I can actually use those emojis in WhatsApp, but as soon as I type them they get replaced with the default emojis of WhatsApp. Is it somehow possible to change that so I can get rid of those horrible smileys without building my own apk?

I have a big problem with sending emojis via the keyboard emoji panel. No matter what keyboard i use or wich emoji set i set. Im using Emoji switcher to use the iOS ones. Even tried to use the Google ones too ... nothing. Its not showing them on Android and iOS ! Or only some of them ....Only when i am using the built in Emoji selector from Whatsapp then they are always correct !
Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance !!

Seems to be only a problem when not using the built in method in whatsapp. They appear in SMS and Mails .. ooops

I recently downgraded to stock (tired of lag in CM's roms) but the Emojis are too damn ugly!
CM's emojis were colorful and had a nice design, Stock's emojis and black and white and some of them you can't even recognize.
The question is: Is there a way to change Stock's Emojis into CM's Emojis? If yes, how?
And if not, can someone make this possible?
I mean, is not the end of the world but is nice to have good emojis :silly:

As i understand you wanna in stock sony conversation make stock cm emoys to be showsen in conversation ? yes you can just need modificate stock sony emoyns in conversation and replace them with cm emoys from cm conversation you can do that with winrar by replacing emoys in xhdpi forlder from cm conversation xhdpi folder but in stock sony keyboard still was stock sony emoys when choosing emoy if im right what you want i can try make one

Actually I think is a little more complicated for me, as I only use emojis in Instagram (and Whatsapp, but they have their own emojis)
I'm currently using SwiftKey Keyboard. I don't think it has a way, right?

so you just need with winrar go in to conversation xhdpi forlder copy all in dekstop and replace all smileys with new ones (dosn't remember to replaces names of smiles too with right one from sony conversation) than just copy all replaces smileys in to conversation folder xhdpi and replace in system app rww permisions and wole your new emojis works like a charm :good:
Isn't there a Keyboard that lets me use the interracial emojis? I have Emoji Switcher and downloaded the iOS 8.3 emojis but I have no idea how to use them, they display when someone post them (like in Facebook I can see them) but I'm not able to use them as well.
