How can I fix this?("Purple screen of hell") - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Device: LG L70 d320N Global
In my pathetic attempt in trying to install this Custom ROM(http://androidforums.com/threads/unofficial-cyanogenmod-12-for-lg-l70-d320-d320n-d325.893621/)
I managed to just-kinda brick my phone(It does work properly but I cannot root, enter recovery, nor flash stock ROM).
I tried installing the CWM Recovery mode, and all I got was a purple screen with the error: "DBI Err Fatal"; that means I cannot go into recovery mode at all.
I did unlock my bootloader, (but did not restore the Download Mode, which was a terrible mistake) and I tried to flash the ROM(.zip file) with the app Flash Gordon and it did wipe my data but did not flash the ROM(I am still stuck with this one, unfortunately), therefore my phone is no longer rooted, so I cannot bring back the Download Mode, in order to flash the Stock ROM I originally had. Of course I cannot root it neither, because of the purple, not-working Recovery mode.
My problem goes like this:
The purple screen can be fixed; in order to do so I have to flash Stock LG ROM(it requires the phone to enter Download Mode), but I cannot do that for I have unlocked the the bootloader(so I can't enter Download Mode). In order to get Download Mode back I require root, which I also I cannot do, because whenever I try to root it goes in purple screen state (It goes into purple screen state also when I try to enter recovery mode).
Here are the links to the steps I followed to get into this mess:

[Q] YP-G1 resets when flashing factoryfs

I believe I ended up bricking my device after trying to fix a battery issue I had with CM10.2, where my device wouldn't charge. I had no access to recovery, only download mode. Trying to flash stock with heimdall and odin, i find that for both, when it is trying to flash factoryfs, the device reboots, and is sent from download mode into the one with the exclamation mark (forced download mode?). If I try to flash with either one in that mode as well, it will simply reboot back into the same thing. If I try to access recovery, it will result in a bootloop from the battery meter to a black screen until I enter back into download mode. I have tried this with and without kies installed, and have reinstalled drivers using zadig. Is there any way I can fix this issue?
EDIT: Managed to flash back to stock, but I no longer have my efs, nor can i find my previous efs backup. I tried use the dummy efs and have also edited out a few things, but I am still missing my lock screen and power menu.

[Q] CWM infinite loop

Hello everyone,
I have a P760 with V20I firmware, unlocked bootloader with CWM. I made a mistake : I tried the update through official firmware feature. It restarted my device and instead of doing the update, it went to CWM recovery menu.
Now, I am trapped on an infinite loop with this recovery menu : when I exist CWM recovery, it restarts CWM instead of the phone firmware.
I tried to restore a backup but it still restart me in CWM .
Do you have any idea how I can restore my phone ?
Thank you very much for your help.
EDIT : I tried to fastboot my device and restore CWM, I am still locked in the recovery start loop. I also tried, with fastboot to set TWM as a recovery, I still have the same issue : my device automatically reboots in TWM.
I spend 6 hours trying to apply my own advice :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40423549&postcount=2
The only mistake I made while my phone was in "S/W Upgrade" mode : I did not put a battery in my phone and while the official LG tool access to the phone, sometimes, it "stops" the USB alimentation (which cause a phone without battery leaves the "S/W Upgrade" mode).
Now my phone is back but after spending 6 hours doing all kind of possible tests for a stupid mistake, I just want to hang myself...
Someone have a rope ?

Download official lg tool and connect the phone in sw mode and update it
Happened with me too
I restored by this method
Sent from my LG-P760 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thank you, just as I said in the next post, my mistake was only to not put back a battery inside my phone while it was in "S/W Upgrade" mode (because, to access this mode, I remove the battery, plug the USB cable and press Vol+).
Where can LGTool be downloaded?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085344
Download KDZ_FW_UPD_EN.zip, extract it then start B2CAppSetup.exe : if you haven't lock LG site access, it should download the last version of LG mobile tools.

[Q] Lg G3 D855 totally messed up ( Lost system.img )

Hello Xdma,
I have a rooted LG G3 D855 (D85520H to be exact). Recently I decided to try and downgrade the firmware from lollipop to Kitkat and failed uberly. For some reason my device had no download mode, and when I tried to put it in this mode, it would go straight to fastboot.
I decided to take matters into my own hands. I found out the only way to get back download mode was to flash the correct laf.img file to my phone. I have all the adb and fastboots installed on my computer. I thought life would also be easier to flash this buy getting a TWRP recovery. I tried using flashify for this. Unfortunately after flashing it I was forced to reflash to the stock recovery because it could never get into recovery mode . Instead the screen would go black and the led light would flash red and blue.
Just as I was losing it I then proceeded to do something utterly stupid. I erased the system img from my phone (as well as the laf but I have a backup copy) through fastboot.
I am now unable to get past the LG logo after turning it on. How would I go about fixing this? Feel free to call me as many names under the sun for the stupidity of my actions.
Btw I am an android nooby so be nice and talk in a language I can understand!
Thank you for any available advice!

Lg g5 hardbricked. Help!

Lg g5 dead while ota update installation.
Everything I plug in a charger or press power button, lg logo appears and then a black screen with an error on top left corner.
After 1-2 seconds phone would restart and goes through this never ending loop.
Phnoe does boot into the recovery mode and except that I'm not sure about anything.
Got it checked at multiple locations but still no luck.
Had this phone laying around for over a year now in same condition.
Don't know what can be done.
Please help!
I'm not sure about the model number but in the inside of back door and on the charging port brick it says Ls992.
hmmm... if i were you, i will just go to flash TWRP recovery and then i custom rom OR even stock rom. I mean, your rom seems completely vanished, so just go to the many guides there are out there, to unlock bootloader, and flash TWRP and a rom
You can probably still boot it into fastboot or download mode, you could try flashing TWRP recovery in fastboot, or the stock firmware .KDZ in download mode.
Yes, fortunately you are only soft bricked. You can boot into download mode and reflash with lgup.
