Well i have a zte kis 2 max rooted, you only have to do this:
1. Download KingRoot.apk from their page and install it on your phone
2. click in "try to root" on the app
3. dont let the screen turn off or your phone will reset and the root proccess will fail, make sure the screen dont turn off
4. wait for the 100% and ready, your phone is rooted.
i rooted my zte kis 2 max a week ago, but i tried this method some months ago and didnt work because my device were rebooting and i tried again and work.
actually im using xposed on my device but i'd like to get another ROM like stock lollipop or CM
well i hope this helps, im new on the amazing android world.

maybe you can try Turkcell Maxi Plus 5's rom.
TMP5 is ZTE KIS, and it is come with offical ICS

I have a locked TMO ZTE KIS plus. When I install a few app, only 2-3, and it updates all the stock apps, youtube, play, hangouts, app to go etc, It has insufficiant space and couldn't install any more updates.
I already did a ZTE Kis Plus factory hard reset
but after a few days it has the same problem. I need a custom ROM which has no built in crapware apps like the providers music store app etc.
Is there a lightweight custom ROM for ZTE Kis Plus and a detailed tutorial how to flash it? I just want to use it for gps and viber or whats app conversations.
Now I cannot install whats app because there is no space in in the phone. Cheap phone...

Does anybody know if there are any ways to root a ZTE Grand X Max 2? I have tried KingoRoot apk and PC, and a few other rooting ways but non of them seem to work. If anybody has a working way to root it, please say how. I am running 6.0.1 Marshmellow.

I was able to root the Coolpad max A8. But it was not easy and it does not pass the Safetynet Test. But i have Root.
I wrote a tutorial on an other website. But it is in german and i can not post the link because iam new here and so i have not the permission to post links. I can send you a message when you still need root on the coolpad max.

I rooted it with Kingoroot PC version. It was temporary but soon after I switched to SuperSU and finally flashed Magisk to hide the root from many Apps which dont work with root. So, now I have full root access.
