Thanks in advance

Music player playing mp3 ringstone.

so annoying that music player put mp3 ringstone on playerlist and playing them with other mp3 songs. even though, I put mp3 ringstone in ringstone folder.
is there away to fix that?
Which Music player are you using ?
All mobile media player do the same thing. You shuold create a playlist for all your MP3songs (without your MP3 Ringtones) and save that play list. next time just simply play that play list. for WM Mobile when you cold start the app ( the app is not already running in the background of your system "check your task manager") there aren't songs on the playlist. From here your can create your playlist at this time, then play them.
Hope that cuold help you.
There's no real solution to this.
Some will suggest changing the properties of any music file you don't want to appear in the sense music player list to 'hidden', but that also means it wont be seen by other apps (I hid my ringtones and they no longer appeared in the list of chooseable ringtones when setting a ringtone).
The best solution I came up with was re-tagging my mp3 ringtones as artist 'ringtone' and album 'ringtone', so at least they were confined to one artist/album.
thanks for reply.
start doing playlist now.
how to hide your ringtones?

SamSung Galaxy Player 4.2 playlist - observations and question

On my SGP 4.2 I noticed that both the stock Samsung music player and Poweramp seem to "eat" m3u playlist.
This is what has been happening. I would put together a playlist (m3u) file then put that file into a folder called playlist at the root of the ext.SD and as soon as I disconnect from the PC and launch either players the playlist (the physical m3u file) will disappear.
In the case of the SamSung player the playlist will show up under playlist even though the m3u file is no longer there. In the case of Poweramp the playlist will show up briefly and then it playlist will show that it is empty and vanish alltogether.
The work-around I found was to use pls files instead of m3u files and the stock Samsung music player sees and works with the pls file without making it vanish. I stopped using Poweramp due to other bugs so I have no idea if Poweramp behaves the same way around pls files.
Question: does anyone one know where and how the stock Samsung music player store it's playlist (one that was created within the program) ?
Knowing that will give me more options when manipulating playlists.
Thanks!

[Q]MIUI Music Player Playlist Problem

I'm having problem with this music player in my MIUI rom whereby when I add songs to my favourite playlist or any other playlist, after some time(maybe several usb mounting and dismountings) the player will not be able to detect the song location eventhough the songs are still in the playlist. I'll need to add it all over again
Am I the only one experiencing this on my i9100 galaxy s2?

[Q] Google Music Letter Jump?

So I love the Google Music app, the only main issue I'm having is that I can't scroll down the right by letter of song or album. Is there a ddon or mod for this? I have some music in the cloud on Google, so can't user another player.

Itunes playlist

Hi all,
Just got my new Xperia Z Ultra and I want to transfer some of my playlists from Itunes, anyone know if its possible and how to do it.
....dump that itunes ****. Forget about apple. This is linux.
Just transfer the files to your phone and make a playlist in the music player
If using the stock Walkman player
To create your own playlists
In the Walkman™ player, tap the MY MUSIC tab.
Tap Playlists.
In the menu that opens, tap Create new playlist.
Enter a name for the playlist and tap OK.
Select your music and tap the Save icon on the top right of the screen.
