I've been looking at some reviews including a very lengthy one from a couple of years back on Youtube where he tried about NINE different brands (Including anti-glare or crystal from the same manufacturers) and he tried pretty much most of the known brands including Zagg. He did miss out Martin Fields and a few others though.
I've seen the XO skins are pretty easy to apply wet. Much easier than the Zagg.
XO aplication.

XO skin for TF
http://xoskins.com/laptops-tablet-r...ors/asus-eee-pad-transformer-screen-protector
Large shooutout of various screen protectors. But it's a couple of years old and for a tablet PC rather than pads.
http://www.youtube.com/user/tonkabui#p/u/0/9XdVHL1M7vM
I am going to continue looking. But if anyone finds the perfect screen protector let me know. That XO looks easy to apply. But I want anti-glare and anti-reflectin as well as anti-smudge and 0 bubbles (in other words eacy to apply). Protection from scratches is actually pretty low down my list of wants.
If anyone can post their experiences (good or bad) of various screen protectors please do so here. I noticed there is a reasonably priced TF1010 anti-glare protector made by Posr.us and has two five star reviews on Amazon. Also someone called MFX is making one as well as Martin Fields and SGP Steinheil.
Thanks I needed one still and this looked decent and easy to apply (I prefer the wet application) I bought it and used coupon code "retailmenotxo" for 15% off ... it covered more than the shipping so that was cool.
I put on Skinomi on my beloved transformer. yeah it's a wet app, and I'm not yet skilled in it's application yet, but certainly feel much safer with it on than not - even despite the alleged "scratch resisteance of Gorilla Glass"
well my screen has a scratch only had it a week

Well, scratch resistant =/= scratch proof, so all those people who say Gorilla Glass is the reason why you shouldn't need a screen protector are fooling themselves. I personally have a clearfreak protector on my transformer. It definitely makes me feel more at ease when I use it.
I bought two of the (as far as I can tell) unbranded screen protectors from ElectronicCrap.com. Other than the non-existent directions, I'm quite happy. Not terrible with the fingerprints, reduces the glare, feels and appears quite durable. Price seems a tad steep (given that you can get whole packages of universal ones for like $10) but these fit perfectly edge-to-edge with the cutout for both the light sensor and the camera. It didn't come with directions of any kind but it's a screen protector - it isn't rocket science. I'd say overall it's a keeper.
I picked up a dcmugen antiglare from ebay and I love it. Damp or dry install, the type with the two peel off layers, and repositionable to boot. It ships from Asia, and mine came with a slight crease causing bubbles that cant be flattened. I've requested a replacement, waiting to see if they follow through. So much easy to use indoor and out, and far fewer fingerprints to clean off.

Got a zagg at bestbuy today because I was bored more or less. Installation went well even though the thing stuck to itself. But a few hours later and I'm bubble and wrinkle free nd protected. Now to decide if I want a spg crytal or not....

I bought one as well, but it looked like crap on mine. Hen again im terrible at applying these things. I usually let Verizon put screen protectors on my phone.
Has anyone tried the skin protector from PhantomSkinz? I have their carbon fiber back skin and it looks great and is durable

My experience with Zagg has been mixed with all my devices but their customer support is good. If you get a bad protector(line down middle, or little imperfections) they will send you another.
The XO skin looked very promising, and for $10 cheaper I thought I would give it a shot. Just placed an order for the XO skin.
Use discount code retailmenotxo for $3 off(free shipping pretty much)
Pulled the trigger on an XO
after watching all the youtube reviews, i decided that the XO looked best.
ordered one this morning.
just a thanks to all the folks responsible for putting the links and testing together in one place for time-challenged guys like me.
btw, i think the transformer is one of the smartest purchases i've made in the last few years. i'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Following up on my earlier post. Installed the XO skin in my university's clean room(0 dust, yes I wore the cleanroom suit) and it has streaks. The protector quality is very good but once you put it on there are visible streaks all over. I kept the applicator wet so there would not be "burn marks" as specified by the instructions.
Going to ask for a refund... maybe I'll give Zagg another try. My first ZuneHD protector was wonderful but the 2nd one I got had a big line down it(bad QC).
The perfect screen protector
I always have problems applying the screen protectors to any of my devices, so I did some research and decided to go with one made by a company called Aurum. The deciding factor was that it had a large cut out for my camera so its easier to apply. Overall, I am very happy. I got the two pack in case I messed up the first one.
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Eee-Pad-...4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1308242480&sr=1-4
I dont think I will ever buy the wet applicator types again, the dry is just simpler and gives me choices in whether I want a clear or the anti-glare. Hope this helps
Here is the link to the anti-glare offered by Aurum in case anyone is interested: http://www.amazon.com/Transformer-M...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1311083745&sr=1-1
I usually get Bodyguardz for all my gadgets (mostly phones). It just feels better than Zagg's invisible shield and other screen protectors.
Anyone tried using Bodyguardz? I'm thinking about getting either the full body protector or just the screen protector. Hmmm this is tough.
Following up... after 24 hours drying/curing it looks much more acceptable. The funny part is there is a tiny black spec under the protector. I don't know how it got there since I was in a cleanroom!
Found this one in Amazon, similar to the Aurum with anti-glare.
Anyone has used this ? Is this any good ?

Hmmm... I have previously considered to buy it too, but I've seen the Gorilla Glas Test with the Transformer in a YouTube video... you dont need a screen protector
I just got a screen protector from Photodon. Their MXA film is great. It was a bit of work to put it on with no dust and correctly aligned. But once it's on it looks pretty good. It's got a glossy finish, so it looks just like the original screen. You can hardly tell that there is a screen protector on the transformer. It is pricey at almost $20.00 each, ut the screen is still sharp and crystal clear with none of the haze that a lot of cheap screen protectors have.
xxx.photodon.com/p/MXA-5445-01.html
I used to have Bodyguards for my HTC Touch Pro and it peeled after three months both times that I used them. Now I use Phantom Skinz and I get no orange peel effect and I've had one on my HTC Evo 4G for almost 1 1/2 years with no peeling and no orange peel effect. Smooth as glass and you can't even tell it's on there.
Now I have Phantom Skinz screen protector on my TF and Phantom Skinz Chromatics white carbon skin for the back side. Very nice to say the least.
I would highly recommend a screen protector for the TF because although it has Cornings Gorilla glass, it sux for finger prints and fingerprints are easier to wipe off of a sceen protector than the Gorilla glass.
im using the steinheil Ultra Crystal. also use it on my phone.
I'm looking for a screen protector with anti-glare if possible, what is the best one to buy?
Was going to suggest Skinomi, then saw you need anti glare. I never found one I liked with "ant glare", and I don't know of any for the View/Flyer. Sorry =/
If anti-glare becomes too difficult to find, then I highly suggest the Skinomi. I have it on 3 of my tablets currently, and have tried multiple different companies protectors including whatever Sprint sells, BestSkinEver, Zagg, Bodyguardz and a bunch of generic ebay screen protectors. After trying all the other brands, the Skinomi is my favorite and all I'll use on any touchscreen device now.
Don't know about "best", but I quite like the Skinomi (wet apply) protector on my Flyer as well.
http://www.skinomi.com/htcflp.html
I have Bodyguardz on my phone, which is also a good protector. They didn't make protectors for the Flyer, when the tablet when the first came out (why I decided to try Skinomi) but now they do. They have anti-glare, but its backordered:
http://www.bodyguardz.com/screenguardz-htc-evo-view-4g-htc-flyer-protection-cases-screen-protectors-covers-shields-skins-films.html?dir=asc&order=sort_priority
I use this one
http://shop.brando.com/brando-works...otector-htc-flyer-p510e-_p05871c1315d039.html
You're ordering from Hong Kong, so it takes a while, and the credit card hassle with overseas orders. But really high quality.
I am currently using this one from Amazon. The only thing is you have to use a hole punch to create the hole for the front camera. Other than that, it is a great screen protector that is matte.
Forum wont let me post links yet, so search for Great Shield Ultra Anti Glare screen protector for HTC Flyer.
Official htc screen protectors are £5 ($8) on amazon uk, they're great.
Any of these work better with the pen?
It's not anti-glare, but I have this screen protector, and it's fantastic. Perfect size with cut outs where they're needed. Very easy to apply as well. I use the Scribe daily, and this screen protector works great with it.
GreatShield Ultra Smooth Clear Screen Protector Film for HTC Flyer / Sprint EVO View 4G
I tried an anti-glare screen protector when I first received my View, but the graininess was much too distracting for what I primarily use it for - reading. On phones, I generally don't have a problem with the graininess that anti-glare screen protectors add. But that's probably because I'm not staring at my phone and reading for hours at a time. The size difference in the screen also makes it more pronounced. I'll put up with having to wipe finger prints off and making adjustments to avoid glare to have a better overall experience. This is the anti-glare screen protector that I used - HHI HTC EVO View 4G Anti-Fingerprint, Anti-Glare, Matte Finishing Screen Protector. It did the job quite well, but it just wasn't for me on a screen this size.
I'm considering buying an anti-glare one for my Flyer because I'm getting tired of adjusting the angle when working on my tablet.
I was wondering how the stylus works on these anti-glare screen protectors? The one I have on now (simple screen protector) gets scratched easily when using the stylus.
Are these behaving better?
Anti Glare, expensive but from a good company... http://www.boxwave.com/htc-flyer-screen-protectors/htc-flyer-cleartouch-anti-glare/bwpdd/f-ztwp/

I've had this clear screen protector applied since late December. I use the tablet with the Scribe daily, and I have yet to get a single scratch on it.
When I used this anti-glare screen protector, the Scribe never left a scratch either. The Scribe worked fine with it, but since the screen protector was somewhat thicker than a clear one (which seems to be the norm with anti-glare screen protectors in my experience), I did experience some issues with it not always registering and a loss in precision at time. But it wasn't anything that was terribly noticeable most of the time. I Haven't had any problems with the clear GreatSheild in the that department.
Thank you for your answer.
Surely the screen protector I have on right now is of lower quality and I'll have to change is ASAP. I'll just have to decide between a clear or anti-glare one. But since the viewing angle and outside readability are still issues for me, I think I'll go for the anti-glare one.
I am mainly concerned about fingerprints and smoothness of the operation. Clarity is an important factor also so appears matte finish isn't what I'm looking for since you have that moire over text and such. What would be the optimal screen protector?
Skinomi. Awesome and very easy to apply. They also have the best customer service support!
I actually messed up while applying my screen protector and they sent me a new kit within 2 business days.
Where to get it: Amazon, nuff said.
Thanks for the tip. I think I'm going to try something cheapo like this just so my mother can see if she can live with a matte finish for about a week.
http://www.amazon.com/Anti-Glare-Sc...sformer/dp/tech-data/B005OUE8R2/ref=de_a_smtd
If she finds she can I will find a good high product one.. if not I will go straight with Skinomi most likely than. But I think buying a cheap matte one so she can experience and anti-glare, anti-fingerprint (most critical is fingerprint reduction) than she can make an intelligent decision without blowing $15 just to find she does not like it.
I tried the Zagg and it was a disaster. Application was messy and I personally didn't like the grippy feel. I just got my BodyGuardz put on a couple days ago though and I love it. I bought the combo carbon fiber skin/HD anti-glare screen protector and it's fantastic. Nice feel and definitely cuts down on glare and fingerprints.
Also, if you find them on facebook and post "BodyGuardz Me!" on their wall, they'll send you a 30% off coupon code.
Skinomi
Skinomi wet-apply screen protectors are pretty easy to apply, however they are grippy (like the Zagg's) and 'soft' as in an your fingernail can easily and accidentally leave an indent on the screen protector. It feels almost too soft, where things that leave an indent on the screen protector would never even damage the Gorilla Glass underneath.
Good thing is because it is soft like rubber, most indents un-indent themselves after a while.
Screen Protector
got my screen protector for my Asus Eee Pad made by http://secondshells.com/screen-prot...n-protector-anti-glare-anti-finger-print.html I ordered the anti-glare screen protectors through SecondShells. I have used simply because the touch screen did not lose any sensitivity after I applied it.
The protector had a nice rectangular notch cutout for the camera and for the light sensor(I think that's what it is), I had purchased other protectors and they had these small circular holes, you had to be perfect to install it right, this larger opening made my life a lot easier. Overall very easy to apply, a peel and stick type of protector, with protective covers.. I am very happy. I also recommend getting a stylus like the nano fiber stylus I also ordered from SecondShells responds great with my tablet. http://secondshells.com/touch-stylu...n-with-nano-fabric-retractable-tip-black.html
The Skinomi is nice. Just installed it today. It doesn't reduce glare but the touch is nice. I only wish it were oleophobic...
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using XDA Premium HD app
I installed the Ghost Armor clear front an back on mine and love it. It is a little bit grippy, but no where near as bad as Zagg, which I can't stand!! Ordered mine direct from them for less than $35 shipped. Install is your standard wet install which is super easy in my opinion. Clarity is great and does NOT have the orange peel look like Zagg does. The full body kit comes with front, back, and even pieces to cover the sides. True full body protection!!! They offer many different colors for the back including carbon fiber. http://www.ghost-armor.com/Asus/743.html
I've never been able to get the wet app to work successfully. That's why I chose the dry application secondshells offers.
Any glass recommendations for the BLU R1 HD device?
I am looking for the same. I found some on AMZN but dont know if to bite the bullet on them.
Amazon Screen Protectors
Honestly I wasn't going to put one on, because for me it's just a cheap backup, But after one day of use I already have a few very small scratches on the top right hand corner, Gorilla Glass 3 isn't doing great and my OCD is already bothering me.
If I get scratches on the actual screen area I'll lose it lol
On Amazon their are three choices and honestly they very well may all be manufactured by the same company based on the listings
BLU R1 HD Screen Protector [Tempered Glass], Popsky 0.26MM Ultra Thin 9H Hardness High Definition HD Scratch Proof Premium Screen Protector Glass Protective Film $8.50 w/ Shipping
[2 Pack] BLU R1 HD Screen Protector, Nearpow® [Tempered Glass] Screen Protector with [9H Hardness] [Crystal Clear] [Easy Bubble-Free Installation] [Scratch Resist] $9.99 - Free Prime Shipping
BLU R1 HD Tempered Glass Screen Protetor, Vikoo Scratch Proof 0.26MM Ultra-thin 9H Hardness Shatterproof High Definition HD Ultra Clear Screen Protector Glass for BLU R1 HD Phone - $8.30 with shipping
They are all 0.26MM
They all have 2.5D edges (which should match better with the 2.5d screen
They all have oleophobic coating
They all list Anti scratch/shatter/explosion.
My advice would be that if you want a backup protector and have prime go for the second one, otherwise the last one is 20 cents cheaper and most likely they are all the same screen protector just repacked by different companies which is extremely common. For a buck and some change more I'll probably go with the second one and let you know how it goes.
I ordered the one from Nearpow. I will update this when it comes in and I install on my BLU R1 HD.

Looking forward to your review as I'm looking at that one myself.
I got this one early on.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I61Y33Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
When I received the product, it didn't look like the one in the picture. Honestly, the shape and the cut outs looked like the other ones you listed. Fit was horrible. The Blu has a lot of curve and the edges weren't able to seal. Lots of lift around all the borders. Hopefully, these other ones are better.
Any updates on best screen protectors, no scratches yet, but i have saw a post or two about how easy this screen scratches.
The one I purchased arrived last night and I took off 6 for a .99$ plastic protector that I bought. That protector never say well so I gave the glass a try. Unfortunately the glass one sat just as poorly. Where the cut outs were for the camera and the LED the glass did not fit flush against the phone and showed as it was lifted.
I have taken both off and am just using the phone naked.
IMO
In my personal experience *most* screen protectors are created equal. My sister bought one off Amazon for 10$ and I bought one for 1.50$ on Ebay, When they arrived her's was in a fancier box but inside the boxes they had almost exactly the same contents. I tried scratching mine with a knife, and it didn't scratch (so it was glass). I'd say it is worth the risk (only 1.50 shipped in the same time as amazon one)

I bought the nearpow one and the fit was awful, because of the 2.5D glass it just didn't adhere on the sides at all and it wasn't even close to full coverage. I've chosen not to worry too much about the screen, it's a $60 phone.
I just bought a cheap case that has a bit of a lip to stop the screen from touching stuff. If I place it face down for example.

Same, because the phone screen is not square in the sides the protector don't adhere like it's supposed too
Does anyone like the nearpow ones from amazon? I bought the box with two of them but haven't put one on yet. I'm wondering if it's even worth trying since reports so far don't seem to good. I can see where it might be more challenging to make them for a screen with rounded edges. I have two of the phones now and like them very much so am interested in protecting them.
I purchased this one:
"BLU R1 HD Tempered Glass Screen Protector, Vikoo Scratch Proof 0.26MM Ultra-thin 9H Hardness High Definition HD Ultra Clear Screen Protector Glass for BLU R1 HD Phone"
from amazon.
Does not fit cleanly.
Given all these reports I am beginning to wonder if these are even tested or manufacturers just assume it will work once cut out to size.
Sadly, i'm just joining in the bad news. I purchased the Qosea Ultra-thin 2.5D 9H Hardness Crystal Clear Scratch Resistant Tempered Glass Screen Protector for BLU R1 HD and so far it-s the same result, it doesn-t stick on the edges because of the curvature of the screen. I'm still using it because i don't want to ruin the screen so i'll be waiting for the confirmation of a tempered glass that actually fits the screen properly.
I'm a bit baffled reading all the comments here and on amazon. It truly seems like nobody tested these things. I-m starting to think there are fake commenters because each glass protector have at least one 5 star review telling about how amazingly fits. Followed by nothing but unsatisfied people.
I have had mine since release and it's still in good shape. Don't see a point in getting any protector for such a cheap phone.
Well it's not exactly tempered glass but the reviews are better as to fit. Apparently it's a hard plastic. I'm getting this phone for my kid so something needs to go on there becasue he's not exactly not clumsy.

i don't want glass screen protector. looking for matte/anti glare screen protector not anti privacy.
Depends on where you live (EU?) but recently I got my hands on matte protectors called Brotect for 2 of my devices.
I deem them overpriced, especially since they come without any wipers, but they do the job pretty well (coverage, cut, looks).
Also, I was just tired/annoyed of getting always different (but usually cheap) quality from AliExpress, worst lottery ever
