Yea just make sure that it is the modded twrp, and you do a clean install. Back your apps up and don't dirty flash

Updated build with CPU governors and better compression on kernel.
I get an error changing the Internal storage type. It says 'E: Unknown MTP message type: 1' Then it says it is done. So I do the change to the Data partition and that works fine. But then when I go to flash the ROM I get an error that says:
E: Error executing updater binary in zip /external_sd/pacfireball_LP.Beta.Unofficial_2015.........zip'
The Gapps file installs fine. Do you think I have a corrupted download? Should I try and download it again or is something else wrong?
EDIT: Tried downloading the file again and got the same error. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Would love to try this out if I can get it installed.
EDIT#2: I think the problem has to do with my baseband. I read the line right above the error message and it says I need baseband 1.53.06.1009 and I have 1.53.06.0919. So I need to find the updated radio somewhere.
Problem solved. I found the updated firmware that updated my radio and the file flashed fine. Sorry for questioning things.
Really nice ROM. Can't believe how well LP runs on this older device. What I really liked was the theme I created for my other phone works on this ROM. So glad the CM12 theme engine was included.
Glad you got it figured it, and only use cm12 themes and not cm11. Also, in the future there will no longer be theme manager, we switching over to layers

Yes. That's great news to me. My other phone's LP Rom uses layers and I love making themes for the Layer Engine. You have so much more freedom with that theme engine. I'll be keeping an eye out for that update.
I got the same "Unknown MTP message type" message and ignored it. everything seems to work.
Runs much much smoother than the mdmower cm12. On that one, apps kept closing due to low memory.
The only issue I have is a LP issue, the google camera app is very very simple with no features.
I've been using "A Better Camera" instead which seems to work fine, except when I try panorama, the horizontal rotation doesnt seem to get detected. vertical does though. very strange.
I tried "Nexus Camera" which seems to work but I think it is older as there is no option to save to SD.
The only other issue/annoyance, I've found is that I use to use "magic smoke" live wallpaper but I don't see it at all and in fact only see one listed. In lieu of that, I wanted to just have no wallpaper but I didn't see an option for that either.
I guess the only other tiny annoyance is with the lock screen. I use PIN but have to swipe up to get it to appear. I think on 11 it would show up without the swipe. Also, I thought there was a way to access the phone dialer and camera without entering the pin in some sort of restricted mode, but I get prompted for the pin. Also, I thought it use to show weather as well (or be more configurable) but I dont see it anymore.

Is the horizontal rotation broke for everything or just the Better Camera? If it is everywhere, try this fix I posted in another thread for another LP Rom I used on my other phone.
Came across this fix if you have rotation issues with this ROM. Using root explorer or any other file manager, delete the following folders (only the sensors folder, not the whole tree):
/data/system/sensors
/data/misc/sensors
Also delete the following file if it exists. It did not exist on my phone:
/persist/sensors/sns.reg
Then reboot your phone and if you are lucky like I was, rotation will work again. I thought I was going to have to ditch this ROM because of the rotation issue. Thank goodness I found a fix because none of the other LP Roms based on 26a were working for me.

The error message everyone is possibly getting, is from being on the outdated radio baseband, it's too late for me right now so if someone wants to find it and post a link I'll edit the OP. I support 4 other devices so hang in there on the fixes.
The reason there are no live wallpapers is for this device to run KK or LP smoothly we need to take advantage of the low ram parameters during build. You can read more about it here: https://source.android.com/devices/tech/low-ram.html
UPDATED OP with link to baseband and how to install said baseband, make sure you're S-OFF if you're going to upgrade. If fastboot says no permissions or some **** like that, use "sudo fastboot blahblahblah"
I'd like to reactivate my Dinc4g as my daily phone for a few days so I can give this ROM a good test for you, but I'm also testing a ROM on my LG G2 at the moment so I would need to switch back and forth.
Does anyone know if Verizon gives you grief about activating\deactivating phones multiple times in day or over a period of days? Is there some kind of limit before they start charging you?
Also, I don't have an option on my keyboard for speaking my text. It's the microphone icon. Is that an app that needs installed for that to show up. I installed the minimal gapps option so i'm thinking it's an app in one of the other gapps that I didn't get. Anyone know which one it is so I can get that feature back?

I tried nexus camera and horizontal rotation is fine so it must be an issue with the better camera app. I'd appreciate if someone could try installing that camera and seeing if they have the same issue. I've found its a nice app anyways. In that app, they have the option to use "hardware gyro" or "software gyro". Since Inc4g doesnt have a gyro, I use "software gyro". I'm not sure if that app is using a different mechanism for the panorama than Nexus Camera. I always thought that it didn't need the accelerometer sensor at all and just followed the photo as it changed stitching it together by similarity.

I've got the right baseband and it runs fine. I'll try to record the message next time I update.
Thanks for the info on low-ram. I didn't know that just having available live-wallpapers used up ram.

Verizon doesn't charge or even care if you swap sims, I've been doing it for years without charge. And the keyboard thing must be just you cause it's showing up on mine, on both Google keyboard and stock

Note the microphone icon is on the top right of the keyboard now versus the bottom right.
New update coming with SELinux permission set to permissive so that I can get my Viper4Android EQ working again, anyone want me to add anything for them?

Is there a list of things that can be added?
The biggest issue with me with LP is being stuck with a featureless camera.
Otherwise, its running great.

READ ALL OF THIS POST AND THE ONE AFTER IT!
No, really, read it all. There's important information in here, honest!
Edit: Desire to Nexus One port status update - read
What is it?
As you all know, HTC have announced the 'HTC Desire', which is effectively HTC's version of the Nexus One. It shares a lot of the same hardware, but features cool stuff like HTC Sense and other cool apps (such as a camera app with face recognition, touch focus etc. etc.). The product is due to launch soon, which means ROMs have started to leak. This Alpha release is one such leak.
Alpha? That sounds scary?
Yeah, this isn't even Beta. There's a good chance you won't want to use this as your main ROM, but you might like to check out what's coming down the road.
So what works?
Almost everything - it's quicker to talk about what doesn't work. Aside from the FM radio, there appear to be no hardware incompatibilities that will cause a problem between the two devices. Even the noise cancelling microphone is functional in this ROM. The only problems with the ROM are related to the fact that HTC are yet to release the Desire kernel source, and there's a lot of changes in there. For the latest known issues status, please see the post below.
Tell me about partitions!
The Desire has a different partition layout to the Nexus One, which means some stuff had to be moved from /system to /data. No biggie, and with each Alpha release i'm optimising further to improve the situation. Be aware that this means you must wipe BEFORE installing the ROM and NOT AFTER, or it won't boot. A wipe is strongly recommended before trying this ROM - and remember to nandroid backup first!
What else are you working on for the ROM?
I have deliberately left this ROM un-odex'd, as I know other ROM developers will like to have a play with it (remember to credit your source guys!). Going forward, odex'ing the ROM makes a lot of sense to save space, although it's less of an issue now I have moved the dalvik-cache to the cache partition (as in cyanogen's ROM).
What kernel are you using? Any other tweaks worth knowing about?
The ROM has the usual MCR tweaks (tun.ko, openvpn, busybox, dropbear etc.) and is running a custom kernel by teknologist and myself based on the stock .33 source (check the changelog below for more details). Himem is enabled. The kernel runs at standard clock speeds, uniquely only using undervolt at the lowest clock speeds.
This is great - how can we say thanks?
Details on how to support my work should you wish to do so (any contributions are gratefully received) are available on the download page.
Alright, i've read enough, gimme the downloads!
One download, update zip format, apply via Amon_RA's excellent recovery image, remember to Nandroid backup first. You probably won't want to use this as your production ROM yet!
DOWNLOAD
These links use referrer checking to prevent bandwidth theft - if you get redirected to the MoDaCo homepage, try 'right click save as', another browser, or disabling noscript / ad blocking
One more thing?
To finish i'd like to say 'enjoy playing with the ROM', thanks for your support and here's looking forward to the final Desire release (after a few more Betas) on our beloved Nexus Ones!
Known Issues
Bluetooth does not work reliably
FM Radio finds stations but does not produce any sound
Footprints camera view is rotated 90 degrees

Bootsound removed - it will be an optional extra in the kitchen. It was annoying me.
Alpha 8
Hugely, HUGELY, optimised for space. Only the framework sits on /data now (and there's 12MB free on system currently!), and I foresee that with more work, we might even be able to fit everything on /system!

Alpha 7
Fixed issue with ringtones list
Alpha 6
Changes to try and resolve random reboots
Alpha 5
Fixed white screen on boot, wifi and update-script issues
Fixed graphical glitching
Alpha 1-4
Disastrous
Did a full wipe and flashed Alpha 5.
First boot took 2 minutes 40 seconds from cold boot. Subsequent boots took 20-30 seconds.
Rom seems pretty fast although I do see some (minor) slowness coming from CyanogenMod.
HTC setup is working. Including adding wifi and setting up your Google, Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter accounts.
Camera is working at the reported 3mp resolution and facial recognition also works.
Flash works but as others have reported it is slow and Hulu.com still doesn't work so your dreams of Hulu on the go are going to have to wait.
The included gallery app is definitely not as eye candy rich as Google's but it is usable.
As we all know the HTC IME is far better then the stock keyboard.
As stated FM doesn't work but it seems to be trying. It will scan and pick up local stations it just can't seem to produce audio from them.
The proximity and light sensors actually seem to be working better then Stock/CM builds.
USB-MS does not appear to be working. In settings there is a "Connect to PC" option that is set to "Charge Only" with additional options of HTC Sync, Disk Drive, and Internet Sharing. Switching to Disk Drive and trying both ask me and automatic I was not able to have it show as a mounted drive.
With the exception of the USB-MS issue this rom seems very good considering it's alpha state and I can see alot of poeple using this as their daily driver. I did not experience any graphical glitches like in the previous alphas. All in all this is in far better shape already then any Sense port to the G1.
Keep up the good work Paul.
@Paul, I've installed it but something weird happened. I was stuck at the HTC bootscreen and then after a while my "old" wallpaper showed from my CM rom install I did a wipe and everything so no idea what happened.
Trying to reflash as of now
EDIT: works brill! thanks!
Great work! and thankyou v much!

Hmmm, not finding any devices either here I don't think. I am 95% sure I know what the problem is if this is the case, so I can probably fix for next alpha.

Fantastic work, paul! Thanks much, and I'll be dropping by to buy kitchen access!
Notes:
1) My SD card isn't loaded upon boot. I'm an android n00b, but I've noticed that android really doesn't like to run without an SD card, and indeed, I got a couple of spontaneous reboots. This last time, I hit the notification area instantly and pressed the SD card notification, it loaded the card, and I haven't had a reboot since (yet).
2) I've had apps tell me to insert SD card, even though the notification is gone, and things seem to be working well. More details as situation develops.
(sd card is SanDisk 8G Class 2, installed this ROM after a wipe, previous ROM CyanogenMod 5.0.3)
UPDATE: yeah, Titanium Backup is not seeing my SD card at all. Trying to mount it via adb shell, not really sure what the device name is! If anyone knows, chime in! Otherwise, let's learn together!
sorry for the annoyance...and bluetooth? about to become adfree member fo sho
u answered it at modaco, thanks. look forward to alpha 6!
SDcard seems to be OK here?

Just had a reboot on startup. If anyone can grab a logcat at reboot time, that might give us a clue as to what's happening.

any news on sync? none of the syncs seem to be working atm for me.
thanks

Speed is fantastic and my internet is way faster then the stock rom.
Ok when i try to access the downloads section in the android market i get reboots.
I've adb-logcatted and there's nothing immediately obviously, i'm going to use my device and try and establish a pattern of behaviour to the reboots.

Please take a minute to thank chad0989 for all of his hard work!
Also, thank you to antp121 for helping me with the things that I couldn't figure out.
If chad pushes any updates, I will build and update this as fast as I can.
Enjoy yourself and post any questions!
You may be asking yourself, "What makes this CM9 rom stand out from any other?"
Well, the feature list includes:
1) The new CM10 Boot animation
2) A newer kernel, UBERKERNEL ( Thanks to dmeadows013) which:
- Makes it much more snappier due to having Linaro optimizations.
- newer 3.0.42 kernel
- and most importantly..... CAMCORDER!
I will include cherry-picks and newer features in future builds
DISCLAIMER: Me, Dmeadows, and Chad are not responsible for bricking your phone, starting thermonuclear war, your phone exploding or any other possible (or impossible) side effects
NOTE: Mount Points are different in AOSP based roms. EMMC is the Internal SD and SD Card is the External SD!!!
BUGLIST:
- Runs a stock, 3.0.16 kernel. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH UBERKERNEL!! YOU WILL NOT BOOT!
- Bluetooth for voice is a no-go
- some people report hearing themselves in-call
- You Tell Me!
TIPS:
- upon first boot, hit the microphone icon in the Google Search box, check the Use Always box on the Bottom, and hit "Google" NOT "Voice Search"
- To reduce lag and speed up keyboard, go into Settings, scroll down and click Developer Options. Scroll down and check "Force GPU Rendering"
- Install a sexy theme from the Play Store and apply in Settings under Themes. I recommend any themes by Nitroz or Hoolm.
- Apply who MIKE D's new wallpaper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) Make a Nandroid Backup
2.) Are you sure you made a Backup? Good!
3.) wipe all user data, cache and dalvik cache
4.) Flash the rom
5.) Flash the Gapps

Nice.
So this is probably a good place to mention the lack of battery stats and a fairly high drain rate when idle. As mentioned in antp121's thread, I've been having these issues, and they seemed to appear when I flashed the 9/10 build of 'le n00b', but both were fine on the 9/4 build. Perhaps it's an unintended effect of one or more of the changes during that time?
S-OFF

Thanks again to all the devs, I really appreciate your work and me being able to use AOSP/CM!

s-on boot.img fail
Hi guys,
Having a hard time getting onto one of the cm9 builds. Im trying to run le noob and am on latest ics firmware from android police, came from viper rez 1.0.3, did a factory reset, wiped data, system, cache and dalvik cache. flashed the rom, then went to bootloader and flashed the ph98img.zip that was in the lenood topic on page 91 but it gets stuck on parsing and timeout eventually. I also tried once with rom, gapps, then bootloader but same thing. I checked the md5 on the downloads but am stuck on this one. My bootloader I cant recall because im currently reinstalling my backup but was I think the newest one. It displayed radios and such
Any ideas? Aside from going s-off?
Thanks
edit:
Same thing happened when I tried installing the untouched rom on post 1 and the s-on patch on that post as well...
I have seen a lot of people with the parsing issue.
Maybe a bad PH98IMG?
Any s-on people who successfully flashed this ROM?
Please Observe the Note about Gapps/Recoveries in the Downloads Section.
GSM'rs Please read message 1977 BEFORE complaining about SMS Texting. Thanks

What's Not Working:
Netflix: However, there is a workaround for this via use of the Xposed module: [Xposed][HACK] Workaround for Netflix This was discovered by member @hochoch. Thanks be to him. I have attempted to place the install instructions here. However, IF you feel confused please refer to the Workaround site.
To install:
Download and Install the Xposed Installer APK http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk.
... > move to the dir containing the file
... > adb install de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v32_de4f0d.apk
You will be asked if you will allow this. Say yes.
Switch to the phone and the app directory. Install the Xposed framework:
... Find Xposed Installer... Tap it... Tap Frameworks... Tap ok... Tap Install/Update...
. . select Remember choice forever... Tap Allow... Tap ok to ReBoot
Download and Install the APK linked in this post: linked apk
... > move to the dir containing the file
... > adb install XposedCM10.1NetflixWorkaround.apk
Startup the Xposed Installer... Tap Modules.. Tap the check box.. Tap ret key twice
After enabling the module in Xposed Installer ... Reboot your phone. Enjoy Netflix.
If your PC hangs on one of the adb install commands... look at your phone and Tap the OK.
And this works on our CM11.0 (4.4.4) xposed-framework

Bluetooth Calling: It's hit or miss. Either doesn't work for some, or has bad quality for others.
Bluetooth will NOT "turn on" our ReZounds. Hardware is not designed for it. In order to make a "Hands free call" you must at least "Activate" the phone. Only has to show the "Lock Screen". Then your Bluetooth must be of the type that has a "Button" you can press to activate voice calling. Mine is a Plantronics Pro and the sequence goes like this:
Naturally your Bluetooth and phone have to be paired.
Push Power Button on Phone.
Push or Press your Bluetooth button.
Listen for command request.
Recite the name in your call list you desire to call.
Hope that the voice to text translation was correct...
MHL/HDMI: This most likely will never work on AOSP and should be considered a "don't hold your breath"
Camcorder: Built in one will scramble the pic IF started in portrait mode. Horizontal mode works ok. However, in both modes you can only get 3 video saves and then you have to reboot to get another 3. Repeat.
Installation InstructionsI recommend users of this rom to be on the latest firmware and Hboot with an s-off device. If you are not on the latest global firmware: Here or Here.
NOTE: For recovery I use CWM Touch 6.0.3.6 but you can also use TWRP. Some wipe options below may not be included in other recovery options. Still wipe what is available the best you can.
1. Put the Rom on the root of your SD Card
2. Compare MD5 Sum
Windows: MD5 Calculator
LINUX: Open Terminal and type: md5sum [path to the rom on your sd card]
Mac: Open a terminal and type: md5 [path to the rom on your sd card]
3. Reboot to Recovery
4. Scroll down and select "Wipe"
5. Wipe the following:
Wipe ALL data/factory reset
Wipe /data
Wipe /cache
Wipe Dalvik-cache
Wipe /boot
Wipe /system
Optionally wipe:
Wipe battery stats
Wipe rotate settings6. Scroll to and press return
7. Install Rom from SD Card
8. Reboot and enjoy!

15. Issue this command to flash the boot.img we placed in the platform-tools folder earlier:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
16. Watch the output of the terminal, it should say something like "sent successfully".
17. Finally send this command:
Code:
fastboot reboot
This command reboots your device into Android. Wait for it to boot up and enjoy your new freshly installed CM10.12
Note: If you are having issues connecting your device to your windows computer in fastboot, please insure the drivers are up to date by installing the latest version of HTC Sync for the Rezound.

[SIZE=+1]Q7: Is this ROM GSM compatible?[/SIZE]
Yes. You must enter Mobile Networks and change preferred network list to GSM.
[SIZE=+1]Q8: Why isn't my WiFi working?[/SIZE]
You're most likely s-on then. You must flash the boot.img that comes with the .zip inside of fastboot.
[SIZE=+1]Q9: What recovery is recommended?[/SIZE]
ClockworkMod 6.0.3.6 or higher... TWRP 2.6.0.1 or higher...
[SIZE=+1]Q10: I can't mount my phone to my computer as a mass storage device. How can I manage my internal/external storage with my computer?[/SIZE]
If you have the most recent HTC drivers installed and are still experiencing issues, reboot into your recovery, and try mounting your storage that way. If you are still having issues, try a different cable, USB port, or computer. Lastly, try to avoid using an external USB hub. Those may cause issues, as well.

I believe so. Although I'm unsure of what version may/may not be compatible as I do not use it. FlyHalf would be the best person to answer this.

Just make sure you properly wipe/etc if doing a clean install, and after any "dirty flash", wipe dalvik and cache before you reboot.

For any and all gsm users installing this...there is a few trick to get things working and we are still working on this. I may also do my best to release a pure gsm version of 4.4 for our device
does art work or are we to stay on dalvik?
PMEM vs. ION

Forgive my ignorance on this one, but I simply don't know enough about it to reason this out for myself. Can you guys get an ION version booting? The reason I ask is because I remember the reason you guys stuck with PMEM was because you still had the ability to use the camera/camcorder with that type of memory management. Would building with ION alleviate any of the existing problems since that's more or less the direction that Android wants to take memory management? I'm sure you guys had already thought of all of this, just curious if there was any advantage in trying to get it built with ION (and admittedly it's a selfish "want to know" on by behalf). Congrats and thanks to Fly, Litz, Rev, Neo, KKozma, TheBroken and everybody else responsible for getting this done. It's been awesome to watch you guys work.
Also Bluetooth streaming works. Not sure about bluetooth calling though.
I don't think any of us have tried ion with cm11 yet. I did build cm10.2 ion and it boots, but the camera doesn't work at all.
That said, I am going to give the old college try on using a different display hal for cm11 which requires ion. There's a very small chance it could help with the camera, but don't hold your breath.

As this is still very new even to the cyanogen source...many things are still being pushed to cm11 as well as commits...it will all be ironed out in PMEM soon...ION will take some time
Doh. Stupid double post
So far so good, usb tethering works, alarm, stopwatch and countdown timer work as well.
i have noticed if i change runtime to art i get fc of gmail, gapps and a few other apps, it is in a loop to so only fix was to turn back runtime to dalvik.
other than that keep up the great work! all the devs here are a joy to be apart of this community
update - Also i have been a rom toolbox user since the beginning and it has always worked, but in this rom i am unable to uninstall apps, i can freeze them tho, just thought id share

you can use /data/userinit.sh to change the settings
thanks to @reaper90 for the original script for EliteKernel
Download
reaper90 said:
How to use:You can edit the script by using "edit_userinit.bat" in the .zip file, you can also start installation process right after you finished. Of course it is also possible to change the values on your phone once the script is installed. The script as it is provided by me only contains the default values, so if you don't edit anything, it won't change anything.
How to install:
1. Unpack the.zip file
2. Connect your phone to your computer, make sure USB debugging is enabled
3. Run "install userinit.bat" file and you'll be guided through the installation process.
The installer will push the script file to the right location and automatically set permissions as mentioned by nik3r. You'll need to reboot in order to make your settings apply!

I'll do a new build in a few days (if it builds) and try it on that, I'll report it if it's still broken.
I was going to try it on my Nexus 7 but on the build I'm running Settings crashes every time I tap add.

I tried to install the ROM but it failed.
I flashed the boot.img in bootloader and did a factory reset.
I use latest twrp 2.8.7.0 and was running Lloirs ROM 20150917
same story here, this new version seems to have a lot of snags more than the previous one, wifi fails often, the google apps did install well but had problems to start, this is the first build having small problems so far(your original private build was very good CARBON-5.1.1-UNOFFICIAL-20150920-0305-enrc2b. or). I will continue to test and report with exact facts later.
Thank you

Installation
- TWRP (I used 2.8.2.0)
- advanced wipe recomended (rom has gapps included)
- install as any other custom rom
- IMPORTANT : optimizing google play services can take some time ! took on my device 1-2 minutes.
- Initial bluetooth pairing can be skipped by using "ESC" key from keyboard or wait 2-3 minutes, the google setup via your smartphone is functional (worked for me )
bugs:
- Cast Receiver (youtube App) : sometimes it works, while it shouldn't (logcat indicates invalid certificate - as we don't have an official supported device i'm afraid I can't fix this) (removed)
- Bluetooth MOJO controller - doesn't always pair or re-pair after reboot - could be ROM related or controller related. Once paired it works quite good. more stable with lineageos 13 !
- Don't update the youtube app ! the App will crash as we currently don't support rastarization (OpenGL ES v3) https://www.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/chromium-graphics/how-to-get-gpu-rasterization
-If the installation get stuck on "finishing boot" -> wait 10 seconds, then hard reboot (pull the power) - this in only needed once.

Frequently asked questions & Tips:
Thanks to minmao:
Q: Is it possible to add an option to change the display resolution as in the stock from? My TV is a 4k set and Mojo boots into 4k automatically, however, since it only supports 4k at 30 fps, everything seems so slow and games are impossible.
A: if you choose best framerate in developer options, it gives 1080p60. Now it is perfect. Thanks again!
Q: Are gapps pre-installed in this ROM?
A: Yes, all basic gapps for androidTV are available
Q: is SU enabled by defaults
A: No, but if you want to have SU, check the detailed install instructions below for more info
Q : Any detailed install instruction ?
A : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75093267&postcount=41 thanks to King_Dex (please note flashing gapps is not needed atm).
Other tips:
The google assistent can also be enabled by sideloading the following APP:
[url]https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-app-for-android-tv-android-tv/google-app-for-android-tv-android-tv-3-2-0-187674027-release/[/URL]
Works quite OK, but cannot integrate with Google Home App - so no control from a google home speaker .
The nvidia games (versioin 4.X) can also be sideloaded if people are interested , but don't try the 5.X, this will NOT work.
[url]https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/nvidia/nvidia-games/nvidia-games-4-17-21865207-release/[/URL]
Cast support : as the official google cast app is not fully functional , this App has been removed in new builds.
I recommend using :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ionitech.airscreen as an good alternative

Hey Wmapa, it's nice to propose this but for me this is a hobby project I'm not going to accept donations (how strange this might sound). If you want to do a donation then donate something to UJD, nono2lozere or lineageos. I'm just using their work to build something without their effort I would not been able to produce my "rom"'s.
It is such a nice surprise for new year!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!

During my "tests" I rarely had issues with WiFi , I do remember that 1 time during the setup 1 had to retry 2-3 times with connecting to my network before the M.O.J.O wanted to setup a connection.
Related to your sound issue,I installed kodi on the last build and I could not "reproduce" your issue. Please try out the latest build

to reproduce the problem of kodi you have to exit the program with the exit button that has kodi up to the left (do not minimize) and when entering again the sound is not heard.
Let me share some experience that may help other users using this great rom:
1. The lastest xposed installed and worked on the latest version via recovery. As you might know, the anroid TV does not support mouse right click (the same thing on the shield tv). I was able to use 'xposed addition" module to map the menu key on my air mouse to exit key, so I could have total control of the mojo without using the controller, which is heavy and stiff. Although I still have to use it to wake the mojo from sleep, since my air mouse could not. Also long press the power button on the air mouse will bring out the shutdown/restart menu.
2. If you have a 4K tv and want to have higher resolution of youtube, you could sideload the mobile version of youtube APK and you could get 1440p video. I also used youtube+ in xposed to select 1440p by default. Although I could not really tell the difference from 1080p...I tried to tell myself it does look better...
Thanks again to carp_be for the great rom and quick updates. I almost feel silly to buy a shield TV, since the mojo now could satisfy most of things I did with a shield TV.
No luck this week, I ran again into the issue with not booting on first startup with my latest build. Next week I'm ski-ing holiday, so next update would be probably middle of February
Hi there! I just came here from the fb mojo group, because I have an (stock) mojo with some problems (the system upgrade is broken), and I'm trying to install the LineageOS using @King_Dex guide (thanks, by the way), and I'm stuck in TWRP, I'm not sure I'm following the instructions right...
First of all, I have all the files recommended so far, Installed Towelroot v1, and using flashify booted using the twrp mojo img (twrp_3.2.1-0_mojo.img), but, that is! TWRP doesn't show me my SD Card (32GB SD card in a basic cardreaderm in the USB 2.0 port)
So, TWRP has any option to mount my SD card? I really hope you can help me, I want to see what I can do with the MOJO :fingers-crossed:
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
While in TWRP Recovery Mode, the system can only read the internal storage (sdcard0) and the external storage (sdcard1, which is the SD card slot). It cannot recognize any USB devices connected to it, and you have to directly insert your SD Card (along with the files you need) inside the specific SD Card slot of the Mojo (near the HDMI port).

Thanks! worked just right... Just finished flashing lineage, but when I was flashing the gapps arm 6.0 (stock), twrp freezed, and I had to reboot... now is booting lineageos (looking good!), but missed gaapps and addonsu... can I install them from lineage? or do i need to start again?
Update: errr... I'm doing some basic test, and the google store (androitv, I think) is working just fine... I'm kind of a lost of what to do next, any sugestions? (do I need addonsu?)
Thanks!

Flashing gapps is not recommended on this androidTV rom. I've included the majority of google apps needed for AndroidTV. If you think this rom is missing a major gapp, you can sideload it via the file explorer. Please let me know which once you miss then I can check if I can include them in an next update.
Best what you could do is to wipe again all data (also system) and install the rom clean. Addonsu, if you really what this should be flashed once lineageos is flashed. You can always install this later via TWRP.
On my beta builds and own running build I each time install, VLC player, MX player, these give good codex support and DS video so I can stream video's from my synology NAS.
Hi carp_be,
I would like to report an issue I just noticed.
For some reason, the resolution trick I posted no longer work in the 0106 rom, even when "optimzed refresh rate" is selected, the Mojo is stuck at 4K30 instead of going to 1080P60.
I had to flash my mojo back to the 0101 rom to get back the 1080p60 mode.
Not sure what you did differently with the newer rom, but it would great if we could get the option working again in the future release. Of course, I am happy using the 0101 rom as is.

It should be due to new proprietary blobs. Maybe a build.prop trick exist, but I don't know it.

I'm having mixed feelings with the new video drivers :/ my Sony surround system (bdv e880) doesn't properly work in combination with the mojo since the new drivers (flickering on 720p - 1080p is fine) . The original molly drivers didn't had this issue. So I'll revert the drivers in next build as i'm mainly viewing on 720p tv atm . Hope this solves the "optimized refresh rate".
Next week I have again some time to start building the improvements from nono2lozere :victory:
New update available ! thanks to the new audio HAL from nono2lozere, voice search in the androidTV remote app is now working! really cool
The google assistent can also be enabled by sideloading the following APP:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-app-for-android-tv-android-tv/google-app-for-android-tv-android-tv-3-1-2-179594536-release/
Works quite OK, but cannot integrate with Google Home App - so no control from a google home speaker .
The nvidia games (versioin 4.X) can also be sideloaded if people are interested , but don't try the 5.X, this will NOT work.
