Hi.
Here are Specs of my device:
5 inch IPS 1280x720p
MTK6582 1.3GHz quad core 1GB Ram 8GB Rom
and 13MP camera.
Ther problem i am facing is that i am unabls to flash any custom recovery. Everytime i do, it boots in normal recovery. Maybe because of xolo secure bt i uninstalled that by titanium backup. My phone is rooted.
Maybe Xolo care app is causing the problem, but i removed that still the same problem.
Any help would be priceless.
Thanks.
Help plz :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote:

Guys, I'm really in need of the superpowers of XDA community in this one, as I'm gonna lose my mind.
(PD: Not native english speaker here, pls be gentle )
Let's get into it:
I'm experienced in tweaking androids so I was just doing routine stuff in this one by unlocking bootloader, but it got bricked (still dont know why)
It astounds me the incredibly lack of documentation about this device in the entire interweb, given that is not soooo bad device actually, so the current situation is: device bricked, bootloop on huawei mediapad start logo and only access to fastboot mode (Volume down+Power).
1) Approach number 1: got the official firmware and tried to flash it by the official way, according to Huawei web,
httpxxx://consumer.huawei.com/en/tablets/support/manuals/s10-231l-en.htm
copied dload folder with update.app and stuff to the root of an 8GB fat-32'd MicroSD card hoping to get it installed but absolutely nothing happens. Volume UP+Volume Down+Power falls in bootloop again. No recovery no nothing apart fastboot mode.
2) Approach number 2: ADB drivers installed, combo ADB, Fastboot does NOT detect my device properly
Code:
C:\...\fastboot>adb devices
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
List of devices attached
C:\...\fastboot>fastboot devices
? fastboot
Strange enough, it allows me to flash almost anything, so i flashed official boot, recovery and system images based on the official firmware:
Code:
C:\...\fastboot>fastboot flash boot boot.img
sending 'boot' (6708 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.260s]
writing 'boot'...
OKAY [ 0.917s]
finished. total time: 1.178s
C:\...\fastboot>fastboot flash recovery recovery.im
g
sending 'recovery' (9660 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.374s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 1.332s]
finished. total time: 1.706s
C:\...\fastboot>fastboot flash system system.img
sending 'system' (738258 KB)...
OKAY [ 28.472s]
writing 'system'...
OKAY [ 43.332s]
finished. total time: 71.804
after reboot nothing happens, still in bootloop with no options to enter recovery mode, only fastboot working.
As said before, have browsed almost the entire interned but no luck by this time. Maybe i'm too focused on it.
Any XDA Gurú wants to get involved by giving advice? Will be greatly appreciated.
Anyone
Anyone?
Was hoping to find a solution here as like you I have searched the whole Internet and.... Nothing.
Exactly the same problem.
Would like to try flashing the official boot, but not sure how you did it, because Flash Tools needs a Scatterfile and Boot.img and the official boot is an Update.app
What program did you use?
Cheers,
Joe!
Still no solution for this? Got same problem.

Hello,
Two days ago when I woke up my P6 suddenly didn't boot up anymore.
It's getting stuck on the fist boot screen where it says: Huawei Ascend.
I searched for a solution and tried the following things:
-Tried to get into recovery mode by pressing on/off+vol up, on/off+vol down, on/off+vol up+vol down.. Nothing helps, it turns on and off and shows the same screen again.
-Connected it to the PC, and the p6 is recognized as: Android sooner single ADB interface.
-Downloaded and installed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48915118#post48915118
-Tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45106541&postcount=11
-I also put Update.app in the dload folder of my SD card. (I downloaded the file from the Huawei website and used a cardreader to get it on the SD card)
Nothing helps
Can somebody please help me ?
Thanks!

How do I do that when I can't access my phone?
It doesn't go past the first bootscreen at all.
I tried this:
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery recovery_original_flashable.img
target reported max download size of 838860800 bytes
sending 'recovery' (7804 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.334s]
writing 'recovery'...
(bootloader) OKAY
FAILED (remote: verify failure, ErrNo:8)
finished. total time: 1.519s
It failed, I don't know what error 8 means..

Hi
I can't get into recovery, I get errors using fastboot.
dload folder with the firmware in it doesn't do much either.
The other link you sent there is a program; Spreadtrum Upgrade Tool that needs .pac files, I don't know what that is.
Fastboot can see the device, but it cant flash the recovery?
C:\adb>fastboot devices

That's what it says :
target didn't report max-download-size
sending 'recovery' (12372 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.392s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.832s]
finished. total time: 1.230s
I'm trying to download the TWRP 3-0-2-0
I have USB debugging on
Bootloader UNLOCKED
What else can i do ??? Help me , im a noob in this i really want root access but im stuck at this point!!
Hey man I've got the same problem, everything's saying TWRP installed correctly, but there's no recovery option. Brick wall.
Hi guys. Yesterday I flashed my Lenovo A2010 with Ressurection Remix custom ROM and it seems that I deleted some touchscreen calibration data, because a big part of the touchscreen became unresponsive and the few working areas don't work properly. In other words the touchscreen is completely unusable. Flashing with stock ROM does not help. I have full TWRP backup, but cannot restore it, because TWRP works with touchscreen only. Any ideas on how to fix this? Can I restore the TWRP backup with PC without confirmation from the phone or convert it to a flashable ROM image? Or can I re-calibrate the touchscreen somehow? Any help is much appreciated
I did some googling and found articles on restoring TWRP backups with adb and fastboot, but they don't work for me.
The result of command
Code:
fastbootflash nvram nvdata.ext4.win
in fastboot mode is:
target reported max download size of 134217728 bytes
sending 'nvram' (78 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.018s]
writing 'nvram'...
FAILED (remote: download for partition 'nvram' is not allowed
)
finished. total time: 0.031s
and
Code:
adb -d restore nvdata.ext4.win
in recovery mode says:
Now unlock your device and confirm the restore operation.
which unfortunately I'm unable to do because of the unresponsive touchscreen...
The more I read the more I realise that I flashed ROM for another device and the touch screen driver suplied wrong voltage to the right place and burnt something... So I will assume I have a hardware problem and will close the thread.
Same hear
Please help as the stupid rr room has made my touch gone in my Lenovo a2010
My case solved with touchscreen replacement as I supposed.
