I am really wanting to put a custom ROM onto my galaxy S5 Active, preferably CM12, Now I am aware of astable build for the Regular S5, but there isn't a build for the Active variant, Will I brick my phone if i use that ROM on my active?

This is also about kernels in general. So, previously, I tried a "Note 4 Apps mod" meant for the International Galaxy S5 and my System UI crashed. I was wondering if my phone will mess up if I flash a TouchWiz Lollipop kernel from any Galaxy S5 variant – like AT&T's or Sprint's.
Also, getting back to the title of this thread, are there any S5 TouchWiz Lollipop kernels out there? I've been searching for a while but I can't find any other than ktoonsez.

A friend has a Samsung Galaxy S III (I9300). He would like to change ROM, now he's on latest firmware (4.3 if I remember right).
He like Android Lollipop based ROMs, but if there are other ROMs (KitKat for example) that are best we'll install it.
I don't know how to flash a kernel, a recovery and a ROM on Samsung phone (I have a Sony).
So please can you tell a good ROM smooth and stable for this phone? And also can you tell me how to flash it (noob guide because I don't know Samsung phones).
We don't want to try all ROM (I'm impressed, there are very many ).

Here you will learn everything about flashing a custom ROM on a Samsung Galaxy S III I9300.
To choose your ROM, you can first of all decide if you want a Samsung-based or an AOSP-based ROM.
Another thing not mandatory but positive is to see that people are still using a ROM, so look in the I9300 Android Development and Original Development forums for active [ROM] threads.
Once you’ve chosen the one you want, be sure to read its thread carefully before flashing it.

you know whether it is possible we install applications stock of the galaxy s5 or s6 in our galaxy s2? (CyanogenMod 12.1 -lollipop)
I wanted at least the gallery and their camera ..'ve looked here on xda, not found.

Stock apps of s5 and s6 wont work on cyanogenmod as they require samsung framework.only chance is if any one ports those app to 4.1.2 samsung rom which might be not possible i guess.
Not possible as the framework will be too different from the s2's. Plus, it will need to be done by a themer (btw, they don't have uber amounts of free time) so that it works for our device, so there is no chance we will see this.

Hi I am a Galaxy s3 user who installs custom roms to improve my device. I have installed many TouchWiz and pure stock roms for my device and i have liked TouchWiz roms. But i want a Full lollipop TW rom for my device. But I dont see any rom that sufices my wants. That is why i am asking skill full developers to port/make a full Lollipop TW rom. I have a idea and i dont know if it will work. Why dont we port the firmware of the Galaxy J2 to our S3. The reason i said that because they are both quite similar. The screen of the S3 is better than that of the J2, the processor is similar/better, and most of the S3s specs is better or similar to the J2. Or can someone port the Motion rom from the s3 Neo to the intl ver of the S3. I cant port roms because i dont know how to that is why i am asking great developers to help us.

man that isn't simple we are also asking to many developers to help to port this rom but anyone isn't want to take this project....
i also very very want this rom tw lollipop on my galaxy int s3
