Hello.
I have tested this on my Note Edge but i think you can activate it on the Note 4 too.
Now i have activated Air-View with Fingers.
The Phone must be rooted.
You must go in the folder system---> etc and edit the floating_feature.xml
SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_COMMON_GESTURE WITH FINGERHOVER from FALSE to TRUE.
SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_SETTINGS_SUPPORT_FINGER_AIR_V IEW from FALSE to TRUE.
Reboot.
Now Finger-Air-View works on my device without any problems.
Has someone tested it on Note 4 N910F?

This does work when you enable it from the drop down settings toggle.
However, it significantly gives a major lag in scrolling up and down the emails or messages.
There is no fix for this at present.

Hi, I'm on SM-910F and I've done exactly as instructed. Now finger air view is working.
on S 910F running L 5.0.1 its not working, maybe only for KK?
I used it with 5.0.1 Lollipop and it works.

When i change the Line in floating features.xml and make a Reboot, than it is autmatically on False.
Also after a Reboot i have no changes.

Hey all,
Today I discovered way to unlock/ enable finger air view on n910c (and propably in 99,9% on n910f) (tested on KK, maybe will work on LP too)
OK, lets do it:
1. Requirements:
1.1 ROOT
1.2 and apps from google Play: Floating Feature Editor and SQLite Editor
2. Enabling:
2.1 In Floating Feature Editor search COMMON GESTURE WITCH FINGERHOVER and change from FALSE to TRUE
2.2 In Floating Feature Editor search SETTINGS SUPPORT FINGER AIR VIEW and change from FALSE to TRUE
2.3 Reboot, and after reboot again go to Floating Editor and make sure the changes are still TRUE
2.4 Open SQLite Editor and go to: com.android.providers.settings >> settings.db >> system
2.5 Find line: notification_panel_active_app_list_for_reset >> go to edit and in VALUE at the end, after last ";" add: AirView; >> Save changes
2.6 Go to settings (normal phone settings ) >> notification panel >> press reset button.
2.7 Reboot
2.8 expand notification panell from desktop and you see new toogle named AirView
2.9 Long press on that toogle and you know what you need to do
------
Tested on n910c >> XNote ROM
-----
Sorry for my english
confirm working

I am using I9200 with Silentlight rom scince 2 days.
I just tried to turn on the multi window to use internet while chatting on whatsapp, but when i checked the multi window option, nothing happened.
I long pressed the back key several times to bring the sidebar but it didn''t work.
I rebooted the device, no progress.
Is this a bug in this custom rom? or is it just me facing this problem?
Any solution guys?
Most custom roms get rid of the Samsung bloatware, that might be why it won't work for you.
Indees looking at list of apps removed flashbarservice.apk and odex were removed they may be avaliable in his removed stuff folder if so place in system/app and set permissions then reboot

I found this on the AT&T Note 3 forum but used it on my Sprint Note 3 to enable the Mobile Data toggle since it was so conveniently left out.
I take zero credit for this but can confirm it does work at least for the mobile data toggle; I did not attempt to add or remove any other toggles so as always, YMMV.
If you find this useful, please thank the creator of the thread linked below, I'm simply sharing a great find by someone else.
Enjoy!

I'm running Bonsai and don't have this issue but here's mine from Bonsai.
This is NOT flashable, simply unzip and use a file explorer to put it into /system/app. Make sure you set the correct permissions and reboot, then try this mod again.
Good luck!

yep Semi Colon after each one. No change. I am going to try and add just "one" and see what happens.
OK got it. the keyboard for whatever reason was inserting a "SPACE" after each semi colon. removed the spaces rebooted and reset notification panel and pow got wifi hotspot and mobile data.
SO is there a complete list of what other toggles we can add ?

I'm not sure to be honest. I was only after mobile data since Sprint decided it was in our best interest to remove it, so that's the only one I have messed with.

If i'm correct if you put your phone in silent mode the watch will follow this setting. So you can do this by setting a automatic rule on your phone.

Not sure if there is a lot of difference between this setting in 5.1 or 6.1 or how this works with Android wear but you should be able to set a time through settings ( see picture) wen you want your phone to be silent en on Marshmallow tis setting will copy to your watch.

Are you sure? I'm on the latest sprint stock Odin and there is a "Me" at the top of mine with my name. I'm unsure why yours isn't this way. Do you have service on your phone or are you using it as a WiFi device? I just don't see why it wouldn't show unless you have something blocking it (like using a different contacts app). Also, when I text, I can touch the face and it'll bring my contact info. I can then touch the pencil icon to edit it and if I click the + circle next to my name, I can select a picture.
