Bluetooth problem - Samsung Galaxy Alpha

I bought two Headsets the Jabra Wave+ and the Plantronics M70. Both headsets are good with my PC and other Devices, but on the Galaxy Alpha the Connection breaks with the Phone in the Pocket. Everything over 50cm the connection is lost. Does someone have a solution for this Problem??

The same problem with Sony SBH-80. This works good with the MacBook Retina, iPhone 4 and the Samsung Note Pro 12,2, but very poorly with ALPHA. CM11 for ALPHA is a little bit better, but CM11 still not for everyday use.

Bought In Ears, not working with Mini Pro

Hello,
I just bought some Klipsch S4a, made for android. I tried them with my Xperia Mini Pro, but they're not working with it. On my PC they work fine.
The speaker of the phone is still doing the sound, and my new klipsch s4a are just making some roaring noises.
I'm running cyanogenmod 7.2 fxp109.
What could be the problem here? It's awful that they are not working. I've never had such a problem.

Some headphones does not support 2011 rang of xperia mobiles beacause they have different type of 3.5 mm jack..now 2012 xperia range have different size of 3.5 mm jack with respect to 2011 range.. so 2011 range headphone will not support 2012 range mobiles.. I think you get it.

Galaxy Gear fit Working

Hi, recently I bought a gear fit not knowing they are only supported on Samsung devices.
After a bit of searching I found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2718949
It works great on my MT2 L03, its missing some features but that might be fixed later. Also the Fit can be updated to the newest firmware by connecting it to a Samsung device. This will not break compatibility.
I thought the Mate 2 doesn't have NFC? I got the gear 1 and have been putting a lot of thought into getting this phone aswell

I haven't been paying much attention to the watches, but don't they connect to the phone via Bluetooth?
My gear fit is Bluetooth, I didn't know the gear 1 was NFC

Mediapad M5 or Xiaomi Mipad 4

I'm really thorn in between these 2 choices... Currently the Mipad 4 LTE variant is still not available in China... Considering if should wait for it or go with the Mediapad M5... Liked the dual speakers and the higher resolution on the M5 but the Mipad 4 price is hard to beat... Any advise ??
I end up cancel the LTE MIPAD 4 order (i guess no stock available) and buy M5. The price differrent is not alot for me as i order Mipad 4 from China compare to now buying M5 from my country), the different is approx 50-70 usd.
If you can live with the bluetooth wifi issue, M5 better choice which has better dual speakers in more ideal position (for landscape mode and sound quality), fingerprint reader. Mipad4 has slightly bigger battery, 3.5mm jack and more portable in term of the size.
Kirin960 vs SN660 ( no sure about this, antutu result show kirin960 slightly better)
OS wise no really sure, never use xiaomi and huawei, i hope both still can receive monthly security update at least for another 2 years.
Both are good tablets for me, i hope the bluetooth wifi issue wont bother me lot since i plan to use LTE network most of the time.
im not sure which one is better for me as well. I do not like the huawei android version and i do not like the mi pad 4 android version. So for custom roms i think the mi pad 4 will be better than the mediapad m5. BUT the mediapad m5 already got an unofficial version of lineageos which surprises me a lot. Not sure how many developers will grab the mi pad 4... So i might will wait some more time before i make my decision...
I will mainly use it for PDF reading and i am not sure if they are good for it, both have an aspect ratio of 16:10, i think. Not perfect for reading...
Not sure if the higher resolution of the m5 will have an impact on how the papers will look like. All the reviews, especially the chinese / asian ones, focus on gaming. It looks like all of them use it just for gaming...
@dopefish1337 I bought the m5 8.4 some weeks ago and I am quite happy with it. Does the Mi Pad4 come with Project Treble enabled? If not there is no doubt what device to choose otherwise the Mi Pad costs less but also provides less ...

Could you please explain what do you mean by saying "Bluetooth wifi issue"?
Look here for Bluetooth wifi issue.. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/help/wifi-speed-slow-bluetooth-t3767604
Conclusion they don't work well together. Poor wifi and poor Bluetooth..

No update fix after all these months?
No. It is probably a chip or antenna issue.

So that's the reason I will not buy MediaPad M5.
Thank you so much for your quick replies.
Well if that's a bummer for you then find another. Samsung is mostlikely great and twice the price. Xiaomi may have the same issue.
Anyhow, the MediaPad is a really great and very affordable tablet. I like it.
People need to understand that the wifi/Bluetooth issue has been solved just use 5ghz frequency on wifi and they both work fine simultaneously!

Maybe people don't have 5ghz router. It is still a shame for Huawei Tablets to have such an issue. It is not a super cheap 100$ Chinese tablet.
I have no problems with bluetooth and wifi on 2.4ghz
Had the Mi Pad 4 for 2 days and got rid of it immediately. I would like to have the option to make calls. No luck with the Mi Pad. The face unlock is godawful on the Mi Pad 4. There is no fingerprint sensor, so you constantly need to swipe your unlock code. The Gboard keyboard does not support popup keys and the tablet does not vibrate. So there is no visual or haptic feedback to typing, really weird. It is fast, memory ist double compared to the Mediapad, the screen is ok, sound is ok but overall, the Mediapad beats the Mi Pad in every category. For media consumption you also have to live with no HD on Netflix and Prime. It's worth to shell out the extra Dollars for the much better overall experience.
Just buy a xiaomi mi router 3 (100m wam) (20$) or 4 (1gb wam) (30$) and connect it with 5ghz, seriously, 2,4ghz is kinda pointless at this point

Bluetooth video delay

I just bought the Haylou GT1 Pro and is impossible to use them to watch a video with P30 Pro the audio lag from the video is so, sooo bad. Tested with S10 plus and sounds much better. I'm still on 9.1 185 ... Anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks
Currently, the only way to properly use Bluetooth devices is if they support the aptx codec as its the fastest codec and the P30pro is really bad at handling the other codecs.

buy better one... i have jabra elit 65 active and there is no lag and any other problems... they was also perfect for my old p10, now i am on p30pro
But after test with S10 plus seems that the problem is not the device !
Same here on mate20 pro with Huawei freebuds.
Very very bad delay,
With my old OnePlus no delay at all.
Huawei devices are crappy with Bluetooth.

Second this,
I have Sennheisers True Wireless and its next to 0 lag as well.
While it may work better with the S10 the problem is more the headset using codecs that the S10 may support but the P30 Pro does not.

am also using SONY srs-xb30 bluetooth speaker,no lags... in car on bluetooth (also for videos) no lags... i really didn't have any problems so far... try to find some device with bt 5.0 and try it... just to see is there any lag
No issues with my bose QC35s but I did get lag with my Samsung galaxy buds.
Hey, do you know if this is fixed with the android 10 update?
Go in developer options and change the Bluetooth audio codec. That will fix the Audio lag.
