CyanogenMod 11 ROM working on S5839i?
Hi!
I'm a bit unexperienced, and not sure about the differences among the S583xx models.
I have a S5839i which is still running Android Gingerbread 2.3, however quite badly (e.g. some calls do not show up).
So I'd like to update it to Android Kitkat 4.4.
For the S5380 I found the following manual:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/update-gala...nstall-1430916
However, I am not sure if the CyanogenMod 11 is compatible with my model.
On the release note http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2587481 , it is stated:
So no idea, if this includes my model (is the S5839I as sub-model of S5830I?)
If so, is there any other way to update my phone to Android Kitkat 4.4? If not, is an update to Android 4.3, Jelly Bean possible?
Thx a lot!

unfortunately there are no upgrades for this model , if your looking for better performance & more storage , get yourself a new device
I have Virgo Genesis Tablet and it has android 4.2 and i have a lot of problems with that version. The company didnt upgrade it or update it and i want to upgrade to 4.4 or other android rom so i can make it better. I can not find any rom available for my tablet . Do you know if there is any available or any other similar to use for my tablet?
Thanks
i bought a MediaPad X1 (501u) with 4.2.2 jelly bean "X1 7D-501U V100R001C358B003" . Icant find any updates when i search for online updates "OTA".
I found some ROMs but all are for china ...can any one help me finding ROM which i can install with arabic language " menus & keyboard " support and with EMUI 3.0 ?
by the way is this one " 7D-501u_EMUI3.0_Android4.4_V100R002C208B009" a Chinese ROM ? because i downloaded it but didnt try to install yet
you have downloaded the last complete ROM for your device! (you surely got it from here)
As the 7d-501u is a chinese model, you'll have to download rom forum huawei china. But there are always multi-language, so you should be able to turn it to arabic easily (at first start)!
by the way, the B009 (China) you did'nt install is KitKat 4.4.2, 400 DPI, EMUI 3.0!
hello all
i have run into some issues with the current available custom roms and was looking at creating my own and just wanted to know how if possible you would increase the android version from 4.2.2 (official firmware cap) to say at least 4.4 kitkat or even further to something like marshmallow.
any help would be much appreciated
