Lollipop Themefor the GPad V500 20D
Background
Since I am providing the community with different themes for the LG G3 and own a nice GPad as well I thougth to adapt my themes to the GPad. It was hard work because I had to learn KitKat code again (I simply forgot many things...)
The theme will work on the V50020D software version. It replaces SystemUI, Settings and framework and adds AOSP calculator.
I added to SystemUI Miniview not really useful but looks great.

I thank again all people that have helped me in learning all this stuff (see here
Special thanks to ModderHROM for his G2 navbar mod and to glfsd for his continuous help.
Bugs
The LGSettings.apk cannot be recompiled without issues so the definition of fonts is not fully correct. Will work on it. A slighter vrtheme modul might come as well.
If you appreciate my work you can buy me a beer.

What does this mean?
Nothing important. Esthetical bug in settings menu.
Thanks! My LG G Pad 8.3 now looks much better! :good:
This looks like the well deserved update that G Pad 8.3 will not get! Unfortunately I'm only rooted and don't have a recovery. But it's nice that you've given support to the G Pad I don't want to install a recovery as I'm getting about 6 hours screen on time on a single charge which is pretty good!
Bug Found: When you copy something apps is becoming Force Stop!

+1 for that...
Some apps with tablet mode would be very useful. I know SGS2 has some tablet UI apps (like phonebook), which is great.
since no one care about this crazy request for a month..
so I'd decided to give it a try:-
1- all res/value and res/xml combined
2- and get this error on apktool (attached image)
*error came on compile progress *
apktool b XXXX

This is a theme for Theme Chooser engine (CyanogenMod & AOKP), its purpose is to enhance the Android UI without compromising the vanilla look. Enjoy!

I NEED YOU TO TEST IT AND TELL ME IF IT WORKS FINE WITH THIS DEVICE ( i have a Nexus 4)
HOW TO APPLY:
Install the app, go to settings/themes of your ROM, select system theme and REBOOT. After that apply this theme and reboot again.
You may get the error: "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size", APPLY IT ANYWAY.

Hello All!
I've been working on navbar MODs for Galaxy Nexus for a short while now and decided to give it a shot for the N10. I built the flashable ZIP attached using a 36 DPI for the navbar as well as ICS blue keys. This work would not be possible without @nexxusdev's flashable ZIP and @APatte111's guide. All credit goes to those guys and the CM team. I'm not a dev and don't pretend to be. I've tested this on my N10 and it's awaesome, but as always, I'm not responsible if you decide to use this MOD and something happens to your device.
Peace
Edit:
I updated the ZIP to work with the CM10.1 RC1 update

Re: [MOD] CM10.1 Milestone Navbar 36 DPI Blue Keys
Looks awesome! Is it within your ability to push the nav buttons to the far left sort of like tablet mode? I personally like the phablet UI but always wanted the nav buttons to the left.either way thanks for this!

sorry, but that goes beyond my limited abilities
it might not be too difficult to make a similar mod to one of the ROMs that allow you to move the navbar keys, i just happen to use CM. check out @APatte111 guide, if you have the sdk installed, you're basically half way there
i've updated the OP with an updated ZIP based on the M2 release. there's something odd in that the keys show the stock color and not blue, not sure if I'll be able to figure out why. if someone has any suggestions, please let me know.
For anyone who cares, the MOD has been updated for RC1

Good reply.
This is a great theme and I'm sure it will get more attention if LG eventually roll out Lollipop for the rest of the world.
Restore stock link does not work (anymore).
Haven't installed yet, but looks nice! :good:
Hello dears,
I was looking for news on our G8x and I found an interesting contest did by LG about the V50s about the best wallpaper dual-screen. The contest is terminated by not the way to make it!
You can find the instruction (ok it is Korean...) and the PSD file for templating here: https://blog.naver.com/grafolio/221667944038
Cheers,
I still do not understand how to make.
Nice find. Thank you for sharing!
Lg is so bad about making resources like this available to consumers in the US...
Will try it out tomorrow
I was able to translate that page using google translate and sort of figured it out. I downloaded that LG G8X photoshop template and made a version for my V60.
I then downloaded a nice wallpaper from here, split the image, added a black space to the bottom of it (so my text icons stick out) and inserted them into my phone.
I then applied each image to each screen.
I don't think it turned out bad. image here
I think the hard part is trying to find an image.

I'm using Nova launcher. But I assume you are wondering how I got the folders to be just names. I use TextIconCreator version 4.7.1 (last updated in 2012) which I carry over to each phone I upgrade to. It doesn't seem to be on the play store anymore. But Simple Text-Text Icon Creator does the same thing I believe and that is still available in the play store.
@sev7en Thanks for sharing the link and getting us started!
I was inspired so I may dump some L/R wallpapers here once in a while.
