My SU Binary did an update. It ask me to chose Normal or use TWRP/CWM. I chose TWRP and now I am in a boot loop. I can not boot into TWRP it just keeps boot looping. I have pulled the battery. I can get into the download mode but nothing else. Help please. Note 3 on Sprint

Sounds like after you made your choice something corrupted the recovery. Just use odin, then boot into download mode and flash your custom recovery again you should be ok. Then choose normal takes about a minute to update.
Thanks

I can't boot into recovery mode. When I am in fastboot and try to go to recovery, my phone just reboots itself and the same thing happens if I go in to ROM manager and go into clockwork recovery. Any help?
Can't Boot into Recovery?
I had this same problem a few weeks ago. When I rooted my evo 3d I started out with the Revolutionary recovery. I tried to change it to ClockW but I didn't work and then i couldn't go back to the revolutionary recovery. My solution was to install the TWRP recovery. Its better then any other recovery I used by far. And is easy to install. There are two ways to install it:

Check your settings and make sure fastboot is disabled. Then try to boot into recovery. If that fails just post back.

Did you flash a custom recovery early on ? What version are u using ? What hboot too?
Like the one guy said make sure fastboot is off.
Hi, I did the update here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50341726&postcount=85
And removed twrp. Obviously with my lack of knowledge I
made a mistake. Now I have stock recovery and the nabi freezes on the boot logo.
Any chance someone could help with getting it booting again or getting twrp back on.

If Jellybean is installed, then I think this is what you need to install TWRP for JB onto the Nabi:

Once TWRP is on, your options for recovery are much wider.

Did you do everything else in thread or just that post? i.e. Did you update the bootloader too? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50356162&postcount=91
You will need TWRP one way or another. Use the ICS version if you didn't update the bootloader, and JB if you did.
Thanks for the help guys. I didn't realises until after that I needed to update the bootloader too, I'm guessing that's where my troubles start.
Just going to have a look at your links now, I know I could get twrp back on when it doest boot.
Thanks again.
Tried nabilab for ics and jb and both are no longer detecting my nabi.
When the nabi tries to boot the circle around the logo isnt even moving.
Still stuck with the Nabi, if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. All I can do with it at the moment is boot to stock recovery.

So you installed the 2.2 ROM, but didn't update the bootloader. You have the stock recovery on it right now.
Can you get TWRP back on it?
Can you get into fastboot mode by pressing power and vol down?

Yes put 2.2 on it but didn't update the boot loader. Tried to get twrp back on using nabilab buts the tablets no longer being detected .
Yes, I only have stock recovery. When I select fastboot protocol, I then get bootloader, continue, reboot-bootloader, reboot and power off.

OK now you need to put TWRP back on it with fastboot when it's in that state.
Look in the TWRP thread, I'm mobile right now, but basically you need to open a command prompt where fastboot is located and then
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Thanks so much for getting me out of this mess. Twrp is back on so I should be ok now with a bit of trial and error.

But when it is stuck on the logo, does adb or fastboot recognize it?
Hi All,
I have unlocked my HTC M8 eye with the help of HTCDev site and installed TWRP from playstore. I restarted the phone and went into Fastboot mode and using adb installed TWRP image file for this phone (v2.8.0.3), before it I have saved SuperSU zip file on my local storage. From TWRP in recovery mode I installed SuperSU everything goes good and its shows Success. When I reboot I shows "Your device does not seems to be rooted? Install SuperSu now?" When I gave install now it shows error msg "Failed to copy su binary in to /system/bin/". I tried re-flashing it and tried to install some other versions of SuperSU but none worked. After this phone goes re-booting and stuck in HTC logo screen till I use shortcut keys to enter recovery mode. In Fastboot mode my laptop was able to detect my phone from command prompt and also my internal storage.
I believe I can get back my phone on working. Please help me, I really need my phone back .
If you can still get into recovery, then you can install a custom rom and go that route. Keep in mind, if you are just HTCdev unlocked and you flash a custom rom, you will have to use fastboot to flash the boot.img.
If that doesn't work, then you should be able to find the RUU for your phone and restore it to stock and redo the custom recovery and root. For future reference, just flash the SuperSU zip. TWRP doesn't normally detect that correctly and trying it's method often makes things worse, as you experienced.
So I messed up and forgot that you can't run TWRP on OF1 bootloader. I flashed with the app and it messed up my recovery and I can't boot into recovery. The phone boots into download mode but if I try to turn on my phone, it'll try to boot recovery. Easy way to get around it and start the phone is to open download mode and cancel (restart) and it'll boot up like it is supposed to. Help on getting back on the original and rooting again or flashing stock OF1. I rooted with king root and replaced it with SuperSU using a script and emulator. Thank you for replies and help in advance.
