Hey guys, as the tittle says: I have lost my IMEI number.
I'll explain you the scenario of what happened before the loss of IMEI.
-> I installed a ROM, but, I have been in a bootloop after the rebooting process.
-> I have solved the bootloop the next day and flashed the stock ROM(4.2.1).
-> After every process is over, I have found a note in the notification bar saying: Invalid IMEI - (Carrier).
-> I rebooted once, but no luck.
And now I am asking for a help here.
I have no backup of my IMEI nor I remember it. Please help me out!!
I have figured out the faults and found the IMEI number written on the place where we fit Battery.
Lock this please.

First I'm so sorry if my question is similar with another threads. But I'm pretty sure I have been looking for the answer around the internet and of course XDA developer for a week. I follow every guide and method I found. But it still not answer of my problem.
I flashing camera driver I've got from my friend backup using TWRP backup. Actually I only need to choose uboot only to install. But I'm in hurry so I accidentally choose everything includes NVRAM. Since then I've got wrong IMEI on my phone because the IMEI overwritten with my friend phone. But it's not a problem because I can restore my original IMEI with MTKDroid & Tools.
And the problem is my IMEI is now back and corrected. But there is no network detected on the phone. SIM card detected fine. When I go to EngineerMode by pressing *#*#3646633#*#* and open Radio Information on CDS I saw IMSI field was unknown and Radio Status is turning on and off rapidly.
What I have done is :
1. Full flashing with the stock ROM via SP Flash Tools.
2. Change the IMEI with MTK Droid Tools
3. Change the IMEI with AT command ... echo 'AT+EGMR=1,7,"myIMEI1"' >/dev/pttycmd1
No result. IMEI is correct but no network.
I believe this is not a hardware problem, so please help me to solve this problem. Because it's my only phone to communicate with my whole families. I really appreciate with your help. Thanks.
I have a HDC Galaxy S4 Legend and for now the problem is that it says "SIM is not detected" also I see that IMEI is null.
How I got to this situation? I' really a newbie in all this things, I just wanted to install a new ROM and after reading and searching and trying to install some kind of recovery files I got a recovery menu in Chinese. Because I didn't know what option to choose I selected something after that the phone started to vibrating and doing some noisy signal I just took off the battery cause it didn't stop. So, of course it did something bad, but after
more straggling I found a recovery file that showed me an English menu then I installed the new ROM hopping it will solve my problem. But, it is not. My phone is working fine (really surprising for me), but thew IMEI is null and SIM is not detected.
What can I do?
I tried to write IMEI inside MTK Tools (GPRS option) but it says "Fail to write IMEI due to radio unavailable or something else"
Also I tried to enter CDS Information --> Radio Information and type AT+EGMR=1,7,"MY IMEI" and I got "AT command is failed to send"
Before "doing all phone tricks" I did a backup from recovery menu, I got this file but I don't know if it can help me to restore IMEI.
Please someone help me, I'm so lost and disappointed.
Waited for a phone so long and now cannot use it.
Hello everybody,
I bought recently my thl W8S, and I was experiencing some troubles with the battery charging (taking 10 hours) and my GPS connection.
So I decided to flash it via CWM. But I'm very new in the flashing and all this stuff. I tried a lot of things to get CWM , even thing I didn't know.
The problem of my IMEI came out atfer I installed this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19319421&postcount=23
The recovery installer apk, I just click on it and when my phone rebooted, I didn't have any access to my SIM management, no more coverage of course.
I tried the *#06# and my 2 IMEI are just marked as "INVALID".
Since yesterday I tried few different operations to get if fixed but nothing is working.
I tried to use the engenering mode (menu CDS, Network information) and send the AT command with the IMEI but I got an error message : AT command is failed to send.
Then I tried to recreate the MP0B_001 file with some tools I downloaded. And I put it in the right folder (/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001) instead of the old file. I reboot my phone, still the same trouble.
I'm kind of desesperate right now.
Any thoughts / ideas?
I can't find the stock rom to try to flash it with Odin ..
Thank you
Hello
I tried to do this but I can't send any AT command , error message is : AT command is failed to send
Any other idea please?
Hi, Did you finally managed to fix the imei issue? I have the exact same problem.
I have the exact same problem. Who successfully solve this problem?
If you didn't back up your efs partition then the only other allowed way is to send it back to the oem.

Hi All!
I need help from you, because I made a mistake.
The story:
I have 2 Lenovo A660 phone (Phone_A and Phone_B). Both of them were working with full functionality. Once I made a full TWRP backup from Phone_A (NVRAM too) I tried to restore it on the other Phone_B. The restore was successful, but after that I can't use the phone function on the Phone_B: no PIN request, and SIM management item is grey in the Settings menu.
As I think, it is because of the NVRAM restore (IMEI numbers and anything). Yes of course, I don't have a backup from Phone_B before that...
What I tried to repair:
I restored the original stock ROM (A660_S019_1208024) to the Phone_B and I restored the IMEI numbers and SERIAL (what I found behind the battery) with IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3. (with the stock ROM's ModemDB and APDB)
...After that the problem still present...
Then I flashed the A660_S025_121122 ROM and I restored the IMEI numbers and SERIAL again.
...After that the problem still present...
I checked the IMEI settings with Mobile Uncle and it seems like good.
I know that, it isn't a simple problem, but I think here are the most experienced people to solve hard problems.
I don't know what I have to do? Do you have any idea?:crying::crying::crying:
Thanks in advance!
Hello Everyone!
Today I received an SG-S III (GT-I9300) TMH-locked phone from my friend. No root detected.
Exactly I don't know the story of reason of errors.
Came to hand sympthoms: no network, bad IMEI number (004999...), no S/N and a very weird black/yellow square at home screen with some datas of the phone. (see the attached file, please). Steps as repairing as follows:
1., New MODEM via ODIN (XXLF5_REV02_CL1147871). Nothing happened, same problems here.
2., New complete SW via ODIN (XXALF5/TMHALF1/XXLF5). Nothing.
3., nv_data manipulation (posted method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/how-to-repair-imei-gt-i9300-t1845660/page4). Nothing.
4., Complete S/N and IMEI writing with Chimera. This was successful. Now IMEI and S/N is OK. But: no network! (Can't register on network).
5., Complete new original SAMSUNG firmware. IMEI and S/N henceforward OK, but no signal. And the weird square is still here after the complete boot.
6., Disassembled, hardware tested...nothing unusual at first look.
I haven't got more ideas. What can I do so far?
Any good ideas, tips, crotchets?
Thank you in anticipation for any/odd ideas.
