Uninstall FB messenger. Install Telegram. Send all file types up to 1.5GB
I think this is maybe because that current version of FB messenger doesn't work well enough on the latest Lollipop.
You might have to be waiting for a newer & stronger edition of FB messenger. Certainly, you may get an alternative app instead.

Install Adfree to block adds and you are done.
Personaly I use Handcent. Has a lot conf options.
I use handcent too and didnt see any ads.
I like Handcent too, I think there's only adverts when yo go into the settings menu?
It would be nice to hear of some alternatives though..
4 or 3mb for a sms program I think is to much. I don't care themes and so on, I just want to download the mms' pictures, videos and the ability of send message to multi recipients...
I think I will develop my own sms program...

I fully agre with you. I use Chomp SMS. Its a 5+Mb file consuming about 7-8mb space on installation. Previously I used Handcent which is a bit lower in size- but after upgrade to 2.1 it force closes every time i try to save /add any unknown number (from which an SMS was recd) to my Contacts.
Anyway, will wait for your lightweight SMS/MMS app.

I was started to develop for android devices 2 days ago . The application can send and receive SMS, now I am trying to "call" the contact list to multiple recipes... After that I will start with the MMS support. Once I get this I will release the first beta version.
I am pretty slow coding in java because I have learned it last week, I am a c/c++ developer and I used to hate java

Good news pretty soon. Waiting for your beta release. Meantime I found a lightweight free SMS app (500+kb) in the market. Can have a look if you want. Its called "SMS Composer". The main thing which I liked about it is its Non-threaded conventional type. Messages ordered individually as per date & timewhen they were recd. Its buggy though. Its laggy. Senders' names are not shown in a few SMS from known saved contact numbers. Unknown numbers (from which SMS recd) can't be saved in contact - there is no such option in context menu.
Android stock email isn't the fastest for imap.
I tend to use K9 for this.
However, this isn't tied into timescape...
I kinda like the idea of one esthetic overview of my calls, texts and email. Since I use my phone for business, I don't really need twitter or facebook.
I tried executive assistant and pure messenger. They are ok but not half as nice as timescape...
Do you know of any other good alternatives for timescape?

Try this.

Hello,
Does anyone have any idea when would be the next update with fixes coming for Whatsapp on Wp8???
Because it's full of bugs in the present 2.9.4.
working fine on my Lumia 920...

It's not working on my 920, it seems to work go about an hour or so and then nothing it just stops working, and that's after a hard reset yesterday.

WP has this issue of chat clients not getting updated even after getting notification. The issue is that WP requires high quality net connectivity for real-time update. However, screen blackout/clients not opening are app based bugs.

Then I think as milton.bain said, It must be issue with WP with chat clients only.
Even Hike acts same as whatsapp and so does Line.
I did mail wp-whatsapp support and got a reply saying they are working on a windows update and trying to release it at the earliest.:fingers-crossed:

Hi all, I'm still alive
It seems that there are some troubles with Whatsapp in the marketplace so Whatsapp decided not to publish the app.
If you have one installed you don't have any problems but once removed you will not be able to download Whatsapp from the marketplace.
Until the problems are solved you can use the xap below be aware it's for unlocked phones only.
Big thanks to pankxx for pointing me to this problem.
Have fun,

Hi bro, i'm on Marshmallow, and i use Hangout, but the Lolipop CM12 Texting app miss me so much because now i cant search by typing older sms, i need to scoll up, and i cant see how many sms there's in the conversation, do you have an issue or a better texting app than hangout :fingers-crossed:
Google messenger is a neat, stock texting app. Though it's a part of of the Google family just like hangouts, it's way cleaner and less obtrusive than hangouts. I use it myself too
Yaata SMS
Textra works really well with Oxygen OS. Customizable too.

Both are perfect but i love Textra for the personalisation, it's perfect, thank you guys
I use QKSMS, it has a lot of customizations, in my opinion a better material design than Textra and it is completely free and open source.

No dual SIM support
Google Messenger doesnt work properly on OxygenOS.
When you text a new conversation, the answers of the contact doesnt show up on the same thread but opens a new thread instead. You end up with 2 threads for one real conversation.
It's annoying when you often open new threads (searching for a car by now and need to contact different sellers).

He builded it himself !!
Basically for sms you have :
Chomp sms, Textra sms, handcent sms (all with ads at this point... wich isn't a problem on a rooted phone with xposed ), handcent being far more buggy and bloaty than the other 2.
Then you have QKSms, that is opensource now, but isn't as polished/finished (amongst other things, i never found out how to send text+images/video in the same message, once you type text the attach button don't work anymore for me).
Then you have Falcon SMS, in developpement, it's quite nice but has some irks and quirks (typically for now, the video/pictures mms attach is broken, the dev is working on it).
Should give you quite some ideas to test (as far as i've tested, from memory since my dualsim phone broke months ago, chomp, textra, handcent, falcon handle dual sim properly).
I prefer messenger, but as mentioned earlier, it doesnt work correctly in oxygen os...so I use Textra. I think its easily the next best and I have tried most all of them.

The MMS support is (by far) the best of all the sms apps i tested (and i tested a lot) they seems to be the only ones having them working flawlessly on the 3 carriers i tested them with (wich isn't the case all the times for the others, despite seemingly using the same setting ), i prefer Chomp overall, but it's a matter of taste/ui design.
From memory, Textra is a fork from an old Chomp version too. I find the theming system/support far better in Chomp, and too "limited" in Textra for my tastes, but that's just me, i'm peckish.
Two apps for me, Yataa Sms and Textra. On OPX i use textra !
