I bought these cables six months ago. I tested the original quick charge 2.0 charger with the app ampere. Using the oem charger with the 10ft cables I bought I got about six months ago I got about 50mA less than the stock 3ft. Charger. Here's the link for em: amazon

Not sure if anyone else is looking for a spare wall charger like I was or not, but I found one on eBay that looked the same as the OEM one, and I bought 2 of them so I could have one somewhere else at home, and also have one to carry with me when travelling. If anyone is interested, the seller was accesscables and the item I bought specifically is here. They arrived yesterday and both work for charging. They look like Chinese knock-offs as they have the same information printed on them as the original charger.
I've tested some of not original chargers, all they works fine.
There is 5V 2A output on original samsung charger, but to make charge it must have output from 0,85 to 2 Ampers (and 5 volts, of course).
This one from DX (sku: 48615 with european plug) works just fine, it has 5V 1A.
The ideal is 5V 2A - it make charge faster.
Would this charge fine on an iPhone charger, or a universal car charger?
I am currently using THIS for my mobile and tab ,really light smart
As this may be off topic, but what I did was is I went to walmart and bought http://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-WPW2UWR-RCA-Wall-Plate-with-2-USB-Charging-Outlets-White/20976676 . Now I just take my charger that came with me as the spare

Nice find. When I sold my first gtab I kept the charger just to charge my phone with. Glad I did. Didn't know they were $20.

also B&M shops do a generic USB port car and wall charger for £3.99 so you can just plug in the USB cable to charge in the car or at home.

Just curious. I was charging my one on a iPad AC adapter just now(I was at about 85% battery) and it quoted 1 hour and 45 minutes. Same with the charging block I got with my old iPhone 4S. Thought to myself that it seemed a bit long so I switched to the charging "block" that came with my one and the charging time went from basically 2 hours to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Got me curious as to what everyone is using.
I was wondering, I'm about to buy a 6 foot charging cable from monoprice(I'll link to the cable below). Will that affect my charging time at all vs the cable that came in the box with the one? I'm fine with the one that came with the phone, it's just a bit too short for me.

Factory, Warranty requires it.
Since I got my note 3 I've been charging it with my old AC chargers I bought on ebay which is a generic micro-usb charger (I got a couple of them laying around the appartment). I use my old chargers often because the samsung USB cable which was provided with the phone is always pluged into my desktop computer, and I didn't want to go trough the hassle of moving the cable all around the house to charge my phone.
Well anyway, so far I've notice charging times were pretty long(6-8hours), but I shrugged it off because I simply thought a bigger battery require longer to charge. But this weekend I slept off at my in-laws and I brought my samsung cable and AC adapter. I looked up with better battery stats and notice the charge time was around 3times as fast. (2hours or so for a 100% charge). Dammmn!
So why am I getting long charges with my ebay chargers?
Is it because they are cheap china product?
Is it because they don't have the USB3.0 port?
I'm thinking the USB3.0 has nothing to do with charging times if it's pluged with an AC adapter right? So my long charge time must be because of cheap products? Ok then, but if I want to buy additional chargers, or even a cradle for my bedside table. How can I know if they will have the best charge time? Am I forced to buy samsung branded stuff just to make sure?
Cause I'd be interested in something like this :

but I'm not gonna buy it if it takes double/triple charging time..

The Note 3 should charge in just over two hours with either USB 2 or 3 cables. If you download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.abmantis.galaxychargingcurrent.free&hl=en that will tell you the charging current. It should be 1200mA with the screen on and 1800mA with it off (trick is turn the screen off for 10s then back on and refresh and you should see 1800mA).
As long as the charger can deliver 1800mA and you are using a decent quality cable that should be all you need. Plugged into a USB port you'll only see 450mA on either USB 2 or 3.
Usually the ones that charge this quickly have an output of 2 amps. That is the output of the charger that came with the phone.

My original cable is almost broke.. any good cable which can be used with our device?
I'm using this ordered from bangood
Works perfectly
Charge rate 1900mah -2090mah
I'm using AmazonBasics 6 feet USB type C cable for one and half years. The time take to charge the phone with both original and this one is equal. I've also have Baseus braided cables which I use to charge from my PC and car. But I bought this from AliExpress so it'll take some time to get it delivered. Anyways try to buy branded always.
