but i get an error every time i do it, and now my phone is stuck on the download mode screen. I also cannot get in recovery mode, it just boots in download mode.What should i do ?
P.S. My phone isn't rooted either if it has something do do with this

hey everyone,
so recently my power button got stuck and i ripped it out using a knife. few days ago i decided to install cyanogenmod and then i installed stock camera but that made my phone go into a boot loop. i can enter download mode using a usb jig and i have tried flashing stock firmware but that didnt help either and im still stuck in boot loop. i think doing a factory reset could help but i cant do that because i cant enter android or recovery mode

Yep factory mode would probably sort your problem out...You could try flashing a custom recovery in download mode and when it reboots it should go into recovery,or you could try to adb your phone into recovery.

thanks for helping. i got so desperate that i decided to flash cf auto root and the crazy thing is it actually WORKED !!

i accidentally flashed the wrong marshmallow firmware in my ls990 and now its bricked.
when I turn on my phone or try to go into recovery or in download mode it turns on and stays on lg logo for sometime and then goes to the firmware update menu.
I tried lg flsh tool and tried to flashed zv4 and zv8 but every time it says (laf read gpt failed)
I also tried the board diag method but ls990 has msm8975 chipset because boarddiag can be done on msm8974..
someone please help me.

I've been there and can tell you there is almost nothing on this phone that can't be recovered from. Understand that it will take some time and yes you need to open it up to short the pin but it does indeed work.
After flashing my device (using Flashify) , it cannot boot anymore. I tried hard reseting it but nothing happened, stuck up on lenovo icon. Can you help me just to get it back to normal? btw my phone is rooted.

What were you trying to flash with flashify? You could try to flash stock rom using a pc.
