??

Flash a stock ROM without twrp?
Are you rooted?
If you are you can replace the system framework from the mod that was posted, make the changes manually to the customer and features xml and you will be all set.

If you use google chrome's "user agent switcher" plugin , and switch it to android you can use your mobile data even when un'rooted and even when your out of Hotspot data. At the bottom of most webpages there is a "use desktop version" and when I switch to that it still works... not sure why. Also for some reason when I do that I can connect to my "apps" .. netflix or whatever on my Vizio tv and stream anything. I would be interested if this works for others as well... I'm lovin my Tmobile 4g lte 50-100 mbps unlimited data!!!!

That's the way I use it.

So way app do I use on my phone or way

[HELP] No Mobile Data

Background: One month ago I rooted and flashed a custom ROM for the first time, I had no problem.
After flashing a few different ROMs, I noticed that my mobile data was acting weird. I could browse the internet and access most internet required apps, but I couldn't download from the play store, watch youtube videos, or get messages from whatsapp messenger.
Problem Today: I just flashed a ROM that I like but now I have NO mobile data at all. I have full bars and my notification bar shows H+ or 3G but data just doesn't work. In the Browser I get this error: "authentication via the proxy server was unsuccessful".
I restored a nandroid backup of stock Touchwiz and data was working again. So I just did a re-flash of the custom ROM and data still doesn't work!
Notes:
- Notification shows data is connected but I can't access the internet.
- Did a restore to stock and data works, re-flashed a custom ROM and data doesn't work.
- Airplane mode isn't on.
- There is no mobile data limit.
- There is nothing in APN settings, there also wasn't anything in stock Touchwiz (but data worked).
- I flashed different modems and they don't work.
- I have tried some APN apps in the play store but they don't work.
- I am on UltimaROM v7.1 // Siyah kernel 1.8.5 // Android 4.1.2
- Wi-fi works.
Please help.
I ended up fixing the problem. So for those of you who might have a similar issue: the problem was with my APN settings. I just had to properly configure it and disable the proxy.

Check your ROM's forum or your kernel's.Maybe it is a common bug and you only have to wait until they fix it.

[Q] Wifi tether not working FeraLab MIUI v2.4.13 ROM

I recently upgraded to FeraLab MIUI v2.4.13 ROM and everything looks great but I can not get Wifi Hotspot/Tether not working.
Application installed on rom is Wifi Tether for Root Users: If i keep open (no encryption security) then it's visible on my laptop and I can browse as well but for some reason I can not see this Hotspot on my Samsung tablet. Has anyone experience this issue?
I tried removed the build in Wifi Tether app and re-installed from marked and tried lots of device profiles but no luck. When I select profile as Generic ICS/JB (I know this is wrong anyway) but then my tablet can see it but can not connect to the device.
I have also tried to use Barnacle Wifi but that doesn't work and it says it cannot get SU permission. I don't understand why because I get prompt to allow super user access and that appears in super user permission tab but it eventually fails complaining about the permission.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
P.S. I have locked boot loader but I don't think that should make any difference.
Try adding your wifi information on your own in your tab?

Thanks but I did try manually adding the ssid before and after re-installing the app without any luck. Hotspot conection was always appearing as "Not in range".

Official JB 4.1.2 on T-Mobile and WiFi Hotspot/Tethering

Does anyone know how to get tethering working on the official 4.1.2 JB rom? I'm on T-Mobile and when trying to activate the WiFi hot spot is gives an Invalid Sim or No Data error. The data does work otherwise, so I am guessing that this is trying to check for an AT&T sim? Is there a way to circumvent this or an alternative method?

Although we don't have any perfect hack, unlike for the earlier stock roms. But still you will able to enable this function using an free app "es explorer" you can configure it under the tools > network > wifi hotspot

WiFi connection but no internet.

I recently restored my old inactive CMDA Sprint Evo 3D back to stock 2.17.
After booting it up, I connected to WiFi and successfully obtained an IP and connected.
I am restored to fully stock with S-Off with a Locked bootloader.
When I try to open the market or web browser I don't have internet.
The web browser says "Web page not available".
I am connected to the WiFi network on other phones and this computer, so internet is working.
Tried multiple PG86 .zip restores and RUU .exe restores.
Even wiped /Data, /System, /Cache and then restored using the PG86 .zip, so there were no files that might be left behind causing issues.
Can anyone help me fix my WiFi issue?
More info please
Thank you for the reply but that's really all that I have.
It's a Sprint CDMA Evo 3D currently restored to stock using RUU_Shooter_ICS_35_S_Sprint_WWE_2.89.651.2_Radio_1.09.00.0706__NV_NV_SPCS_1.43_release_271101_signed.exe.
During setup, I connect to my WiFi and it connects successfully and shows full WiFi bars in the notification bar. I also tried skipping wifi during setup then connecting normally from the wifi in the settings menu.
When I try to use the internet, nothing will connect. Browser wont load a page and play store wont connect, wont even log into my google account.
Feels like the phone is blocking internet access, like though a firewall or hosts, but it doesn't have any additional apps installed and the hosts file is original stock since my /system partition is locked from the restore.
I just did the HTC official bootloader unlock, thinking the wire trick unlock may have been causing it, but it didn't help.
What other info would be useful?
EDIT: Just flashed CyanogenMod 11 with Android 4.4.4 and WiFi is working. No idea why stock won't work but AOSP does.

Issue in receiving files in Share-IT/Nougat ROM

I am not able to receive the files over share-it app in any Nougat Rom, I've tried Lineage, AOSP-Extended etc but still problem persist any one have any workaround to fix this issue.
I received files using shareit in rr 7.1. Download the latest shareit from playstore, when you click receive option it will ask you set hotspot manually. if you click set then it will go to tethering and portable hotspot page of settings app, enable portable hotspot and don't go back to shareit. Stay in settings app . sender will be able to see our phone name in their mobile and can send files. wait until the file transfer completes. If you go back to shareit app after enabling hotspot in settings, shareit will still be showing quit or set option. It can't detect whether the hotspot is enabled or not ( i don't know why ). so it will not receive any files. so you have to stay in tethering and portable hotspot page to receive files . You can check the transfer progress in notification bar. I think it will work in other nougat roms too
