Hi I am on the devel-proposed channel for my nexus 4. Normally everyday a new update comes out. But since the last two days it stopped.
When I go to the cdimage site of ubuntu the "nightlies" are listed, so there seems to be new builds. Did some of the last nightlies broke the OTA updater?
----------------------------------------------
The nightlies are back again, maybe they was paused because of some changes.

So I have had Cyanogenmod 11 for about a week now and am currently running 11-20140804-SNAPSHOT-M9-i9300.
When in the update panel it is displayed that there is one update available 11-20140916-SNAPSHOT-M10. This does not show the device number on the end, from what I understand each device has its own version of the rom to hook into the right api's or something. Why isn't necessary right now really but shouldn't the update be suggesting my devices version or is it okay to update to this?
Bump
It will have left that info out for simplicity's sake. It knows what version you have shows you the available updates. If in doubt do a nandroid first.
Cheers,
just done a nandroid today, will update soon!

I side-loaded Android O about 3 days ago, but I received an OTA update for the new version of 7.1.2. My Nexus 5X is enrolled in the beta program so I'm not sure if that could be the cause for the OTA showing up. It's very weird though seeing that I'm on Android O. Can anyone explain why does this happen, and is there a way to get rid of the update?
Go to the beta site and enroll your device. OTA will go away in a couple of hours after that.
Yesterday got an update notification for Samsung internet, I'm on pie beta one, after the update Samsung pass prompt is gone

If your a member of the beta test (and didn't side/odin load the update) did you check for software updates?
I had the same issue with the first pie beta release and Samsung internet. After getting a prompt in Samsung members (and then checking for software updates) I got an update for the pie beta test and the issue went away.
Hello.
I'm still running MIUI 9 9.6.14.0 - the version which the Poco F1 (Global) came installed with.
A few months ago I've enabled the System Updater app and the phone found the MIUI 10 10.0.4.0 update.
However now we have newer updates like MIUI 10 10.0.6.0 and MIUI 10 10.1.3.0, but the System Updater app can't find them. How come?
Note that I wish to update directly to the MIUI 10 10.1.3.0 Pie version the official way, through the Updater app.
Is that possible?
I've tried clearing all data of the System Updater app and tried rechecking for the new update, but it always finds the 10.0.4.0 update.
Have a look at this thread and download the ROM from the server with the link provided in the XDA article. You still flash it with system updater
It used to be said that making serial requests for new updates (at least with Nexus phones) tended to delay updates being made available to you, but this could be an old geek's tale
Cool. I will flash it the way you suggested.
Do I need to wipe or factory reset when upgrading major OS version? If so, how do I do that?
I hope someone finds this helpful.
I have been waiting for MIUI 12 and seeing family members Redmi phones receiving newer versions of MIUI 11, I decided to go looking.

I followed this guide to upgrade to this latest update of MIUI 11 using the OTA file.
https://c.mi.com/thread-1890305-1-0.html[/url]
My Redmi 9 is now on - V11.0.7.0.QJCMIXM which is much smoother and noticeably better, i am looking forward to MIUI 12 when it is available.
Just an FYI...
This also appears to have fixed the icons disappearing on the bottom of my home screen from time to time, which apparently only occurs when you have an app draw setup.
I haven't seen it occur in over 24hrs, where it used to happen regularly before I did the update.
Tnks a lot...i also update my redmi 9...it work great ..root also work...
so should I download and use the recovery one or the ota version ?

Use the OTA and you can upgrade from V11.0.4.0.QJCMIXM to V11.0.7.0.QJCMIXM without needing to reset anything or lose any data.
It is just like receiving the update via Wifi..
For some reason, I did not receive the OTA via Wifi as my phone kept saying "No updates available"... Yet here it is.
