Dug around but didn't find this question answered. If I missed it, sorry.
I want to use a different MMS or fix the one I have. It will send duplicate texts out - for example, I send a text to my son but it goes to my daughter instead and in the All Messages I now have 2 threads for my daughter, but usually wiht the same innards. Very weird. I'd just like to get it to work normally. I'm using Elegancia v2 ROM (very nice!) and 2.14.50 radio on a US Tmobile HD2. Thanks folks!
Hi guys! I am having some problems with my newly fyrmwere. It's just so awesome, it makes my phone very VERY smooth. That's why when I have the phone in my pocket I answer/close all the time. The problem is that I close it most of the times. Isn't there a way to change the way of answering? Scroling bar would be the greatest thing on earth.
It's annoying that after you had a walk take out your phone and find out you had 5 unread messaged and 20 missed calls (declined or silenced).
Small bump please

If you got the contact saved in phonebook, then you can create new SMS to that contact and it will be send.
It's because you send SMS first without prefix, then receive SMS with prefix and the number in thread gets overwritten from nonprefix to prefix.
If you have prefix in sms center number in settings, remove it.
thank you for your reply yeah i thought that myself when the first one sent then the next one didnt i thought i wonder if its adding the prefix back on with the next message thanks for your reply i will remove the prefix in the centre number. i was in 2 minds as to do that but now i have a second opinion i will try it thanks bro for your reply
Jonny,
I had the same problem as you with this ROM (on Virgin) and nothing I did would make SMS's send - either new, or replies.
I have now installed Aeroflyluby's VDG Mango 8107 and with that ROM, sometimes I can send SMS - but it is not consistent AND GPS works on that ROM (it doesn't work for me on Miro's ROM).
HOWEVER, on VDG Mango 8107, I find it impossible to set the SMS Message Centre - when I fill in the number and hit "save" as the phone either hangs or the Message Centre number remains blank. On this ROM, I have also tried using the HTC Connection setup (which works fine on Miro's ROM's) but it complains that it's database is empty.
So, here is a very long shot. Check out HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone\CallIDMatch - which should be a dword. I think that you might find in Miro's ROM it is set to 7, but for the UK we need it set to 10 (to match the last 10 digits of a mobile or landline number).
On the VDG Mango 8107 ROM, this key doesn't exist - and I don't have permissions to create it - but if it is already there, you should be OK to change it.
Good luck!
thanks for your reply im not sure about fiddling with the registry. back in wm6.5 i was always making a mess of the registry but, i must admit i made some really good tweaks with editing the registry, but, in wp7 id rather leave it up to the experts on that one as i have never owned a wp7 phone before so im not sure how things will react.
thanks for your input tho , much appreciated
Help Please: Samsung Galaxy S3 - How to disable this annoying sms warning?
Jelly Bean update triggered this warning.
Sometimes I am sending 3000 SMS in 30 minutes.
Could you walk me through the process?
I have rooted my phone so I can access any folder.
Is any way to modifying the quota? Where do I have to go?
Please help, need this desperately. Thank you. THV
Wow...1.67 sms per second.

so presumably youre one of those annoying people that spam others via text?
Even if i knew how to stop it id hope no-one would help
Hello again to all good willing people out there. Just to clarify, I'm a Pastor and all the sms are sent only to people who register for sms info and encouragements, but only people connected to our church. I dont do spamming. When I send 3k of text sms at once, it may be a long text spanning over serveral sms. If anyone can help, I will be very grateful. Thank you.

Plz port for a500s ips s003 I am requesting you plz.
Yeah sure, why not have one post on the forum, and then ask a person to take their valuable time to port a ROM to a device they probably don't own, not to mention publically display their email address leaving them open to having their mailbox full of spam.
Anyway, my email is [email protected], feel free to send me the ROM you want me to fix, and I'll laugh at you more, and sell your email address to marketers, and laugh at your misfortune.
Have a nice day, and I look forward to receiving mail from you.
