Thanks. I'm also gonna rehost this as it's been getting a lot of traffic lately, and DevHost is not very reliable anymore.
I'm getting a little pause every now and again, is it because I installed using Safestrap? I've been on it for days thought it needed to settle in....

It could be. My phone broke right after I made this rom, and I was fully unlocked so I have no experience with safestrap.
In case anyone cares, this ROM is really the most functional/least buggy/fastest least laggy ROM with KitKat for our phones. Everything just works! I hate the theme but whatever, not important!

I appreciate the feedback and positive comments. Unfortunately I can't develop anymore since I don't have a Note II anymore, but MIGHT be able to make a back to stock theme. No promises, but I'll try. Working blind but know what to change.

So everyone was on mr eugene373's thread talking crap, so it got closed down, the only problem is, this is the best rom out and now we have no where to get help for it! so i figgured if we could be decent and mature people we might be able to help one another out.
once again please no smack talk, no talking down to newbs, just keep it clean, and help out (hey remember you were a newb once too).
with that said, here is my first problem i'm having...
my home and back button are switched, other than that, the rom works perfectly. anyone else have the same problem or has anyone else out there found a solution?

Downright shame! Another great cook / great rom that i have to go to another board for help on!
I think this thread should be in the dev section. This site is about all of the users, if not for each of us, this site would suck.
I was going to do this myself, a lot of the dumb (considered dumb by some of the dev's, not typically Eugene though) questions can be answered by the average user.
Thread closed... we are waiting for the developer to let us know his plans for the ROM Thread that is closed...by his request.
Hey all, I must first say that I definitely appreciate all of those that helped me (directly or indirectly, by posting threads, providing links, and helping me troubleshoot) root my device on the MJ7 build. I should have done a little bit of reading on here before I upgraded, but I didn't :/ So now I'm stuck with root access but no working recovery to flash ROMs or anything. I was just wondering if anyone has made any progress, or even started on, a working recovery? I would love to start experimenting with ROMs again, because I feel like the minor issues I had back when I had my modded Droid X are just about nonexistent now.
EDIT: Also, I should say that I don't know much about development or modding in general, but I am willing to test methods on my device because I don't have a deductible on my phone insurance.

Tried this rom for about an hour because i needed sim card. This are my thoughts after coming from stock rom:
nice and smooth,very nice transitions, gapps link should also be added to the op
Bugs:
- no sim card
- nfc not working
- vibration not working
- sound not working
- back camera has overexposure
- at least for me after locking the screen it auto turns on after 1-2 seconds (pretty anoying )
and when could we use the Sim card? ^^'

Calm down, if you'd read the first post on this ROM's thread, you'd already know those bugs, it's hard to build a custom ROM, we don't even have a fully functional custom rom, and we have just a few developers. If you can't live with this, and can't wait, sell your phone and go for nexus 4/5!

Double tap to wale is in settings but doesnt work due to kernel limitations, so unless someone makes a custom kernel, it wont work

Hi, I try more times to flash beta version in my d620r with TWRP and CWM but it stop at LG logo and screen become white. Have you any ideas? Sorry for my bad english.

In settings model number is unknown and i cant install some games and apps from play store because it says that my device isnt compatible with this version. Any fix? Maybe there is some line i have to add in build.prop?

Finally somebody is really working on this. I love this phone for its capability versus price. 38$ from Kmart. Brilliant!
So far (laptop was stolen so this Is all done right from the phone)
I've rooted, busybox, TWRP, xposed framework.
I'm also downloading Ubuntu to install chroot using linuxonandroid. But I REALLY want to install CM11. But the only port is for the l70. And while its similar, I can't risk bricking this because of whatever variable makes it incompatible.
So I've been scouring the interweb for weeks trying to find a ROM that is actually ported for the ls620..
So thank you ahead of time, no pressure

once i get this project at least close to complete im gonna start looking into cm11.. i just downloaded the kdz for the l70 a few days ago, i want to look at a stock image and compare it to the ls620 to see how closely related they are.. but the fact that i have to jump over to windows to try to extract a workable image has me focusing on finishing this first. i read somewhere they were identical, somewhere else it has nfc, somewhere else different display, etc etc.. but seeing the w5c (our device) kernel source in a l70 thread made me hopefull it can be accomplished. but tbh i have a few big milestones i wanna accomplish for the ls620 (merge internal sd with data, carrier hacks, some recovery work, etc). time will tell tho, i might get stuck on one thing so take a break with another and next thing i know, boom, cm on the ls620
but its not just decent for the price, its a $500 phone 3yrs ago lol. nfc would be nice, maybe one or two more internal sensors just because. a little more internal storage would be convenient and so would more ram, and im trying to work on both of them (it looks like our phone was build for zram its just missing the module, its made some old 1gb ram laptops ive worked on noticeably faster so im curious to see what it cab do.).
Any progress on creating a custom rom, not trying to be demanding, just noticed it has been 2 and a half months since this was posted. An update would be nice when you have the time.

i need help!
my phone did an auto-update this morning. when i clicked reboot and install it put me in a boot loop!
entered into recovery <3e>
factory reset.
now i cant access my homescreen, app drawer or really access any apps (and somehow there is no browser and keyboard either) because of this. i can get into my settings etc
however with no keyboard i am unable to log into google play etc.
recovery says it cant mount my sd card but the phone once loaded says its mounted. i was trying to install a keyboard manually with no success. i would like to figure out how to revert back to stock maybe update then root....
was previously rooted (far as i know i still am at the moment)
i am stupid when it comes to using adb... or twrp, as i have never used either and all the directions are kinda confusing to me. i do however have the program called minimal adb and fastboot but i dont seem to know how to use it properly..
i usually use odin to flash. not sure if it works with lg ls620 though and i still either need a recovery image or a stock image to get it back where it should be.
i can however from my lock screen access the phone messaging and camera apps, so i can make calls, but since i factory reset i have lost everything and with no keyboard i cant access my google account to reinstall all my contacts etc...
i have been dealing with this since about 7ish central time this morning and i have had no luck. i have contacted my provider and lg with no luck as well
even if you dont have the answer maybe you could point me in the correct direction
i am at my breaking point ready to twist the phone to pieces but then id have no phone at all...
i even told the lg rep that their inability to help me without sending the phone in for "repair" make me not want to buy anything lg ever..!
i really like this phone. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I am new to the team here guys and I have very little experience with Rooting and stuff on Androids, I have a good mind for stuff such as this(I used to code a Moparscape Server) but just need some starting advice. Can you please help me? Mom to 10, bought LG Realm for 4 kids to use as "ipods" on black Friday. Rooted with towelroot. Have been working great. Until recently could not get 2 unfrozen.
Cleared cache in recovery mode. Nothing. Factory reset in recovery mode. Now can't use and tricks to bypass the activation screen.
In language screen supposed to touch four corners to get to home screen. Doesn't work. Supposed to be able to make emergency call when not active, no emergancy call button. Supposed to be able to, after a restart, go volume up, volume down, home, back or something i dont remember now and get to home screen. That doesnt work either. You are supposed to get to settings from the accessibility menu in the talkback screen but I dont have all those options either.
These have never been active nor never will be. They are wifi phones only for my kids to play on. They are driving me nuts to fix. Can someone please help me or direct me on where to go for help?

Wow. I had no idea that was the original price. It was a great phone, but sadly it died on me a few months ago, it'll always be one of my favorites

i flashed at&t 610 with this eu rom.
it works fine...everything. camera. lte. wcdma. phone call .mms. sms....
but htc home has a little problem.
every ui, screen works fine. but only lock screen and weather widget is not fit to the screen
screen resolution or something is a problem.
but other apps are works fine and clean.

Sorry to say I can't help you I only learned a little about deodexing the Rom and after that I sold mine for a xiaomi note...
this rom has android 4.4.4?
