Does anybody knows if exist an app that allows to switch rapidly between two app with a gesture from the home button? I found Switcher on the Play Store but doesen't work because I have a Moto G with Lollipop. Also I'm not interested in any other feature other than the one I described. Thanks!

Has anyone found and / or is using a home switcher app. I would like to have an app where I could easily switch between the default home and launcher pro. I've tried "Home Switcher" and "Launcher Switcher " but neither seem to work like they should.

What do you mean? Home Switcher seems to work exactly as it should.
I did some research on this yesterday and found that the issue with them working oddly is due to Blur. There is an app in the market called "Moto Home Fix". Download that and it will allow the "Home Switcher for Froyo" to work correctly.

I should have been a bit more specific, but the "Moto Home Fix" corrects exactly what it thought was missing.

No problemo. Was driving me nuts too
I installed moto home fix, but for me the phone would not go back to home when in the app gallery. I am not sure it was tested on the Atrix yet.

Well, it operated just as advertised on my phone so I don't know what happened on yours...

Hi, I would like to know how I can toggle Recent App of ICS. It can be shown by long clicking on the home button. The one that has preview because I don't like to be pressing so much my home button as I am noticing improper responses from it. Is there a way to put this as an icon or widget on the homescreen? Thx
Anyone? Tried apps like button savior, etc. But it shows their built-in recent apps instead of the firmware's or samsung's.

I know this post is old, but Im trying to figure a way too without using an app or service BUMP\
I found what I was looking for in app LMT using the "invisible swipe gestures" set to top center of screen so that swiping top left is notifications, top right is quick settings, and top center opens recents. This is for anyone who might be searching and happen to land on this dead thread. Any other particular method of shortcut will work if you set it to Activities>SystemUI>Overview.recents is the path to this.

I use GMD Gestures, because my sensitive buttons aren't working. Before, I used CM official inbuilt option that you can change the option sensitive (or back) button for recent Apps. Can really recommend that. Greetings.
Apologies if this has been asked before - I was not able to find another thread asking or answering this.
I think it would be really cool to be able to assign the long press shortcut functions of the volume up and down keys (when the device is locked). Right now they link to the camera (for me, useful) and the memo app (for me, not so useful). Personally, I'd like to link to launching google now voice input - seems like it would be the next best thing to what the moto x has with waking from sleep by voice and executing a command.
Has anyone looked in to it at all? Ideas on how to accomplish this on a device with root maybe?
If you're rooted I'm pretty sure the app G2 Xposed Settings allows you to change the buttons. Have to be rooted with Xposed framework installed.

Looks like Google Search launches in non-voice mode if selected with this. I made a quick app that just acts as a shortcut into Google Search voice, attached here.

Oh man, thanks so much for this shortcut! I was just trying to figure this out!
After using native gestures on OnePlus 6 and Note 9 (One Hand Operation+) I'm 100% sure I will use gestures instead of navigation bar even if I have to give up Nova Launcher, but so far all the youtube videos I've seen there is no gesture to switch to last app which is something I use very often.
I was hoping I didn't have to install another gesture app on top of native gestures
Am I missing something is there a gesture to jump QUICKLY to last app? Or you have to swipe+hold/wait+swipe+tap everytime you want to go to previous app?
Could at least knuckle gestures do that or they're just for screenshots, split-scren and launch apps?
Up until now I haven't found a way to quickly switch between the last 2 apps. Hope they will include a new gesture with a future update
I ended up purchasing the app "edge gestures", previous app works really well on the Note 9 if I enable the "force previous app" option and it uses a faster animation as well, what's on the screenshot is all I wanted that is missing on native gestures, I'll see how it goes on Mate 20 pro I hope system doesn't kill the "edge gestures" app every few minutes
EDIT: I was forgetting about google assistant, I guess I'll set tap and hold for that as I will disable the option to launh google assistant with native gestures so it doesn't interfere with the edge gestures app
EDIT 2: okay I think "oneplus gestures" app will be better if ot doesn't interfere with native gestures from bottom center
TIP: Download NCleaner to get rid of constant notification "X app displaying over other apps" use the option "ongoing notification hider"

Whenever I have an app lock the screen (Edge gestures or Nova) it usually locks the screen and the phone immediately unlocks itself again. Do yo experience the same? Any fix that you know of?

Happens to me if you have faceunlock on and it detects your face. What I do is point it slightly away from my face when I double tap to turn off screen and its fine.

Turns out that disabling the Direct Unlock (as opposed having to swipe up again after face unlock unlocks the phone) also resolves this.
Annoying either way, not sure why it recognises face again after locking the screen.

Excellent. I used bxActions on my S9+ all the time until they finally allowed us to remap it natively in settings (I used the Tasker secondary app). I'll definitely be grabbing this!
