A friend of mine bought a S2 GT-9100G, and founds that it lacks of Spanish language in its system. For him, it would be great to have it in Spanish. Is there any way to install the Spanish in it somehow?

Regular stock rom with gingerbread.

In case this gets to be of anyone's interest, I found out that by updating the system (using regular KIES software) it will download the latest version of the stock ROM.
This will cause the device to download all languages (and if you live in a Spanish speaking country, it will bring the language in that update).
I hope it helps anyone in the future.

You should backup your data, and complete wipe, and flash to that ROM agian.

No problem. Flash the G1XXKPQ then factory reset, you should have english, spanish and portuguese (it's the france rom so it contains the majority of the EU languages.) and don't forget to press the thanks button.

Try "MoreLocale 2" or "Set Locale and Language" from Google Play.

thanks guys/gals for the reply , morelocale2 kind of worked however the translation seems not complete, anyway, I guess this is the only way to add menu language without flashing another ROM .
BTW, is it possible to flash another official ROM for different area to this phone ? I have i9100m from bell Canada, if I'd like flash Samsung SII RoM for hongkong will that cause any issue ?
Idk about i9100m, but if you were on international version, you can flash right away

Now I have red in many boards that there are a lot of updates going on in many different countries.
I am from Germany... is it possible to root or I don't know anyting else so that I can update my gear normal with the gear manager when I am in Germany again or do I have to firmware or update it manually every time? I have saw that there is already a new tizen version out 2.2.1.4 where whatsapp answers from the gear is possible...

you can search on web for samsung updates site, install the ROM for Germany for you device and from then always you will update automatically via OTA. i bought it from QATAR, installed the ROM from Europe..and now its like a watch bought from europe...

Ok. I searched on sammobile.com for my dev it's the series SM-R750 the only rom I found from Germany is the tizen version 2.2.1.4 with the number R750XXU1BOA7. The Indonesian one I don't found... so I use that one the German one? My current version on my dev is R750XXU1BNJC.

Yap just SM-R750
in GEAR MANAGER you can see the variant and the software of the GEAR device. than go ahead with ODIN and flash the German version. but read 2-3 times the guide...to be sure you have everything you need.
So i can take directly the newest german version...

Dear bogdan_wrc, i have the Gear S T-Mobile, SM-R750T, could i also update it with Vietnamese firmware? Cause although i have the unlock code from T-Mobile, and unlock it successfully, but the Gear S don't recognize any Vietnam Carrier SIM card. I heard that is because the GSM bands. All reports so far have said it causes crashes, so no. When the international release of the watch ships, there'll be a firmware that can be applied that will make it English, like with the 1st gen

Until someone gets the international model and dumps the firmware, at which point either a ROM will be made or if they dumped the firmware as images, it can be flashed directly
