Hi all
I think I soft bricked my galaxy s2. I accidentally formatted /system when I had access to recovery (volume up + home + power). Now when I turn on my phone its stuck on the samsung logo. When I try accessing recovery, the logo disappears for like a second and re appears. I can't access download mode either and my ADB is not recognizing the device anymore.
What should I do?
If it helps, my phone was already rooted, bootlader is unlocked and recovery WAS installed.
Please help

Sounds a bit strange. Formatting system shouldn't wipe the recovery AFAIK.
When you turn phone off and try to boot into recovery(hw buttons), try releasing the buttons just as the samsung boot screen appears and see if that gets you into recovery
Try rebooting into recovery by keeping all 3 buttons pressed until you get there. Do not let go until you are in recovery. That should take a few seconds more. When you are in recovery, just restore your backup.

To fix your boot loop you have a couple of options. The first option is to flash the stock firmware for the Sprint version of the Galaxy S3 in Odin by entering into download mode. You can enter download mode by fully powering off the device then powering on the device while simultaneously holding the power button + volume down + home button. The latest stock firmware for the Sprint Galaxy S3 can be downloaded from here. Your other option is to boot into recovery mode, then go to select the mounts and storage options, next select mount /sdcard, after the sdcard mounts you can use your computer file explorer or ADB to transfer another ROM to flash to your device. After flashing the ROM your device should boot up without being stuck in a bootloop anymore. Let me know if you still have questions.

So as you can get in Download Mod so getinto it and flash one fresh Stock Rom via Odin
Then after booting it up ,download CWM and then press these combination volume up + Home + Power button so you will be getting into stock e3 Recovery(Red one)
After that choose Apply update from sd card and Hit CWM thats it now you will be loaded in CWM.
I flashed TWRP recovery for the device from Odin and tried to boot into recovery using adb reboot recovery. Ever since then the device boots till the TWRP teamwin screen and then restarts. It's stuck in a bootloop. It's got a non-removable battery so I cant remove the battery. I have tried holding down the power button for like a minute or two but it does not turn off. I have tried to get into download mode by holding down the combination but I cant and it is still stuck in a bootloop. What to do?
It's a rooted Galaxy C5, 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
If odin recognise your device , flash your phone back to stock firmare which you can download from sam mobile .
I know and I have the same problem

Man that TWRP recovery is for chinese version Galaxy C5 CHC
But you have a Hong Kong version TGY so you have a bootloop.Wait to your battery is complete empty and when you gonna plugg in a charge hold buttons to go in download mode and flash new official rom form sammobile. Is too bad the developers dont working on Galaxy C5.THERE IS NO TWRP FOR OUR VERSIONS YET!!?
Right now I have the same problem. The phone keep rebooting quickly....."rebooting recovery......." at flash screen. I tried pressing many buttons combination with no luck. The phone just bought yesterday !
