Is there any roms Coming to Moto E that are Official? Anyone developing MIUI v6 for Moto E?
Does Carbon Rom works on Moto E Indian Variant? Tell me the procedure to flash the Carbon rom? What are Bugs and What bugs are fixed?
Please Help me !!
As MIUI is closed source, its not possible to build it from source..The changes are less..
And Moto E resently got a bit stable CM by percy_g2. And now the real development starts!
Now there will be ROMs for Moto E too.. Right now only CM11 by percy_g2 is stable, Carbon will be available shortly after fixing bugs...:good:
As CM13 for MOTO E is still in development and releasing only Nightlies and no Snapshots which are stable for the device , are the ROMs built taking it as a base being STABLE?
I have tried ROMs like CM13, DU, KREXUS, AOKP, AICP, and other CM based ROMS too and reached the conclusion that CM ROM for MOTO E is not stable yet as compared to AOSP. CM based ROMs creating bugs like notification panel not working, bootloop, battery issues etc.
Please discuss this issue and help me out.
Cm 13 is all most stable now.Used RR and its pretty stable. But I am using mokee Since it has official support for moto E Sound Quality is better in this ROM its pretty loud and has vipre is inbuilt.
Hello guys, as you may already know, the latest official/stock Android version for Motorola Moto E 2015 4G LTE (surnia) is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. My model is XT1524. I'm tempted to install the latest official nightly CyanogenMod ROM which is "cm-13.0-20161225-NIGHTLY-i9305.zip". I heard that CyanogenMod drains the battery quickly than the stock ROM. Knowing that CyanogenMod switched his name to Lineage OS, I think I'll wait until Lineage OS makes the first build. Until Lineage OS creates a ROM for my device I want to try other ROM's. Which one is the most stable, has a great battery life, and is almost stock? Or should I install CyanogenMod already? Also do you guys recommend changing my kernel? If yes, which one?
Thanks.

Stable, battery life and almost stock? Try Slim7 with stock kernel or squids r19.
Rom: https://slimroms.org/#/device/surnia
Kernel (of course optional): https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...-kernel-moto-e-lte-2015-t3072209/post70341957

The CM13 Latest Snapshot.
I've tried Lineage, CypherOS, and AOSP Extended. They're less stable and buggier, I ended up going back to CM13. Anyways AFAIK the current Android 7 ROMs still lack CMTE for theming as well.

Go ahead and install that ROM. I can help with your battery life. My SoT with OC easily gets 3 hours. I've pushed it to about 4 hours when using efficiency profiles I made in Kernel Auduiter (might be spelled wrong). Also using HEBF and ForceDoze.
RR has a better battery life than LOS. Someone knows about slim?
I´ve tested Stock 6.0, RR 7.1.1, AOSCP 7.1.1 and LOS 7.1.1, and can tell us that LOS give me the best battery usage, almost 6 hours of screen so far, and it´s smooth and no fails....
Sorry for the bump but I want to know what you guys are using right now as daily driver? I flashed latest RR 7.1.1 but while it's stable, i found it to be lacking polish (some settings are missing, others don't work as expected) and that's obvious because it's a WIP and I thank devs for their hard work, but I want to settle in MM for the moment. I love CM13 latest snapshot but was wondering what else I can try...

Thanks, but is it based on official rom like moto e which is customized!?
Moto e has everthing working with no bugs!
You can try Xiaomi.EU rom or Epic rom. Both of them are based on MIUI with bloatware removed and optimised. EU rom is based on Chinese MIUI versions (with full english language support and GApps), while Epic is available based on both Chinese as well as global releases.

There's not much out there. Seems like the only Oreo ROM that works is the lineage 15.0 unofficial. He's also working on a 15.1 build but the sim card doesn't work yet.
There's no shortage of good 7.1.2 builds though.

Been using elixium OS for 3 weeks so far as daily driver. Very stable and fast, only problem I saw is that phone soft reboots after unplugging any otg device.

ps. Most mods don't work properly
