hey i cant deodex atx9ime.apk
i have searched for many scripts
but i have got the same error message
" major error with deodixing atx9ime.apk"
so please help i really need it to use it on my rom

and if any one can deodex it for me, it's i don't know what to say

use xultimate
and if you want to deodex apps
u always need to put the whole framework folder with it
otherwise cant deodex it

just everything from framework folder system/framework
and first deodex those
and then the apk

do you know how to create flashable zip?
use this guide in 2nd post to deodex ur apk . there is flash-able zip also in that.

i have one more problem ,now i can recompile it by replace ur string code
but when i copy Phonebook.apk (signed) to my phone by root explorer and i set permission
then i restart my phone after i lost contact & phone from my phone.
why like this sir?

An Arc with CM9 on. Don't sign system apks, that might be the issue.

I not sign phonebook.apk still the sam proble
And one more y original phonebook.apk =4.4mb
After recompile =1.91mb

Read the "Recompiling" part HERE
I cant recompile Settings.apk
I used:
Code:
apktool if framework-res.apk
apktool if SystemUI.apk
apktool if SemcGenericUxpRes.apk
apktool d Settings.apk Settings_S3
(edited two xml...)
apktool b Settings_S3
But always the same error.
I just updated apktool to the last version. I am using windows 7

You must add both drawables/strings with right id to public.XML
Any one has a special tool to recompiling ics apks??!
I edited and while recompiling getting a lot of errors!!!

Try using the latest version of virtuous 10 studio or apk multi tool. Also if your trying to decompile Sense or TouchWiz apps make sure you have the correct framework dependencies installed.

I will be obliged if anybody help me by making it for us

Can u upload the version for me?
Coz I'm not able to recompile systemui or any system app whether I edit or don't
Also if any1 cud upload framework-res and twfra..wrk-res.apk
From akshays prerooted ROM I wud be grateful
I HV a (hopefully)killer L style systemui(only XML tweaks coz I'm pathetic at photo editing) ready just need to properly recompile
