My Phone : OPPO JOY
How this problem started...
1. Suddenly phone bootloop problem
2. When connected to PC via USB internal SD not showing up (so I cannot put stock rom zip file on internal SD)
checked on Disk Management, drive of the internal SD show No Media
3. Try flash CWM using SP Flash Tool and success
4. Trying selecting "Install from SD card" on CWM menu (same goes to other menu on CWM mount etc)
result : E: Can't mount /sdcard/
other result from other selection of the menu E: Can't mount /emmc/ and more
(looks like my internal SD broken/unable to access)
5. Try flash stock rom (from viet site) and still stuck on logo when power on
6. With stupid brain, i try format via sp flash tool (with hope it can become new & fresh phone like first time I buy it) and now when POWER ON, its just buzzing in every4--6 seconds with NO LOGO and anything else (black sreen)
----- im soooooo stupid brainless
My phone still can be use in SP Flash Tool and just only on SP Flash Tool, while PC keep showing USB Not Recognize
Is there any hope to fix this??????
SRY for asking help for the OLD model phone...

So, I'd gotten as far as installing the zip packages off the SD card, however I accidently unzipped the gapp zip onto the SD card instead of the .zip its self. After rebooting it just kept looping the end of the Cyanogen Mod visual.
The recovery mod im using is the recovery-nozomi.img
I thought it wouldnt be a problem and I could just mount it through the recovery menu, but i get this error:
E:unable to open uns lunfile (no such file or directory)
I've looked around google and the forums but I've not found anything particularly useful to me, I'm fairly new to this.
try to redownload the gapps on your pc, then after downloading connect your phone to pc then power on your phone, then go to recovery, (press volume up when beep) then a menu will appear, go to mount and storage, then go to mount usb storage, now youre on mass memory storage you can now transfer the downloaded gapps then just disconnect your phone (unmounting), then flash the gapps via recovery.

I cant mount it via usb, I get the error mentioned in the first post...
when you format your system did u mount it again?
Well. I was using cm9.1 from some days but it did't convince me, i have some freezes in the phone with certain apps so I decide to try MIUI. And there is what I did:
1. Restart phne in Recovery
2. Format Data
3. Format Cache
4. Format Dalvik
5. Format Battery Stats
6. Format System
7. Format SDcard
Now i try to mount USB to copy the .zip from my PC but the PC make a strange sound and never mount the USB. How can i get the .zip to the phone to install any ROM.
Help please
By the way, I can get into fastboot, even try "fastboot flash zip rom.zip" but it just says (failed remote partition does not exist)
Why the **** you formatted SD CARD?
"What really matters in this world, anyway?"
I keep asking myself the same question over and over!
I just try to install Stock .tft file with Flashtool but when the process start the phone reboot itself and quit the Flashtool mode.
I know the SD card hasn't been damage because when I use the "report error" option in CWM it create correctly the Folder, however i still can't acces the SDcard from my PC to copy any of my backups or a .zip ROM
Any hints?
I solved it. If for any reason anybody have the same problem here is what I did:
1. Find a stock rom in .ftf
2. Install flashtools and your phone drivers.
3. Flash the .ftf with flashtools
And that's it. You should have your phone fully functional, like new (no root, no CWM)
However there is a trick with flashtool mode in the phone. In my case the phone keep restarting just before the flash process begins. To solve this try to start the process and just when the phone reboot click one time the vol down key. The phone should now keep in flashtool mode and complete the flash process
Hello,
i hope this is the right place to solve my problem. i also post it in the kernel-section because it happend after "set up dual boot". my english is not the best, but i hope you can understand / help me!
What happens
I set up dual boot with SiyahKernel S3 v1.8.9. 1.ROM Omega 38 2. ROM Slimbean. it works fine..
The problem:
After booting anyy ROM i have no access to the 16GB ExtFat ExtSD-Card.Galaxy says the same on every ROM " you have to format your SD-Card its broken" ( something like that )
When i connect the Card via Card-Reader to a PC ( Windows 7) or MAC ( ML ) or LINUX ( Sabayon ) it is also not readable.
BUT when i boot into recovery ( CWM, tried diffrent Vers.) i CAN access the ExtSD-CARD, i could see every Folder an also playing back Backups... or install zip..
When i mount it ( via CWM different versions ), connect the phone via USB to any PC / MAC its still invisible. When i use TWR-Recovery the ExtSD Card is visible but without any folders!
Question:
a) What the hell is going on?
b) Is there any way to access the folders to save the Data?
c) Is there a tool / script to copy the files from the ExtSD to the IntSD via CWM?
Strange....
Its possible to create a backup to the " unreadable ExtSD "... but when i use Aroma Filemanger the ExtSD isn´t mounted... when i use CWM 6.0.2.7 the SD card is in Recovery visible... and mounted but not visible via USB-PC or after boot in ROM
I solved the Problem..
First flash a costum ROM...
1. Flash CWM 5.5.0.4 CF1.5 via Odin
2. Flash Speedmod-Kernel via Odin
3. Power Off Device
4. insert the SD-Card
5. Install SGS3 Toolkit Vers. 7.0 on Windows 7
6. Load Image for my ROM JB 4.1.2
7. Reboot System into Recovery
8. Pull the Files ( Point 11) to PC ( sdcard/DICM/ "for example")
9. after Finish type "y" and pull the next directory
10. and so on...
11.Power off device
12. Put SD-Card in Cardreader plu it to Windows and format the SD-CARD with ExtFat
HAVE FUN....

Seems like a corrupted backup. Did you install the proper drivers for your phone? I would suggest you to reflash neatrom( if you already have the zip file in your internal sd card). If your pc can't detect your phone, how are you supposed to put any files into your phone?
there is the last kies & drivers in my laptop and it can recognize my brother's galaxy s4
also the last flash zip file was from long time and i delete it
my pc can't detect my phone but before format i put aosp neatrom to ext-card by wireless by es explorer !
i don't know why not recognize and why corrupted backup in same time ><

Ii had a version of neatrom on my device i forgot wich. But i think the ex-card has some errors couse i could mount exsdcard. I had the same problem with restore don.t know why. I suggest you take microsd card to pc and formaat fat32 before you recover your data. Put also o new recovery and a desire rom zip. And try again . if is not working try with other microsd card.
Okay. Here's the thing. Let me try to break the story down:
I tried to flash the MIUI ROM. So basically, I followed the instructions to the best of my ability, but when it was time to flash the ROM itself, I got a Status 7, and installation aborted. When I rebooted, the screen was stuck on the Mi logo (which was peculiar since the installation aborted). It was taking a long time, so I assumed that, yep, bootloop.
So what I did was I flashed stock ROM using odin. Just the stock rom (ie, you have to repartition before flashing the miui rom). But one think I noticed before I flashed the ROM, was after I repartition through ODIN, the USB storage was 0.00b/0.00b. Several bootloops after, I finally got my phone working, but this time I can't access my USB storage. When I go to the task manager, it says 0.00b/0.00b. When I plug it in my PC, the only drive I see is the SD card (when there should be two, right?). PLUS, when I boot the phone and go to the media files (example, music app, gallery app etc.) it says I have no SD card inserted. When I do.
On screen, the notification says the USB storage is something, like unsupported and when I tap it, it says I have to format my USB storage. When I do tap format, it says that it's still checking the USB storage, and the notification comes up again. If it's imporatant, I also tried formatting the USB storage via CWM, but it says cannot mount /emmc. I ALSO can't find my phone on my PC now. The GT-I900 doesn't come up in my drives when I plg it in
I've tried flashing the stock PIT file, but to no avail. Please help. I just want a faster phone (hopefully via MIUI) or
Oh, and please bear with me. I'm a complete noob.
After re-partitioning, you need to wipe the partitions (/system /data (sdcard0). Make Backups and don't forget to flash a Rom/Kernel after wiping /system, because else your recovery will be lost.
I'll try to help you since I did installing MIUI v6 ROM by @blackra1n which also require resizing system partition.

Status 7 could be possible you were using older custom recovery when installing the ROM.

So, you were repartition using PIT file then install MIUI— failed, then now go back to STOCK ROM (stock firmware?), right?
Did you do repartitioning again to stock PIT version before do flashing the stock ROM?

Please don't do something careless with /emmc as it might risking your EFS which may loosing your phone info such as IMEI, WIFI, and other radio related data. Please try to repeat the procedure back to flashing stock ROM:
1) Turn on your phone and boot to download mode (home+volume down+power). Connect your phone to PC through USB cable. Run Odin on your PC.
2) Press PIT button and select the stock PIT. Make sure the "repartition" checkbox is ticked on Odin.
3) Press PDA or AP and select your suitable recovery tar file. CWM or Philz recovery should be fine but avoid using the very older ones. Make sure the "reboot" checkbox is UNCHECKED because we don't want the phone reboot to system when flashing is done.
4) Press start button on Odin. Wait for awhile, then if Odin said it's all done, disconnect USB cable and reboot your phone to recovery mode (home+volume up+power). Optional but recommended, keep pressing until first Samsung logo appear, then release power button. Release two remaining buttons if recovery screen appear.
5) Assuming you're using CWM, go to "mount and storage" then choose "format /sdcard0" or "format /internal-sdcard". If prompted for file system format, choose "FAT32" if possible. If not in the list, just select "default".
6) Optional, to make sure the internal storage can be recognized by PC (Windows), still in CWM go to "mount and storage" then select "mount mass storage". Connect your phone to PC and see if Windows recognize your sdcard. If so, open properties dialog for this sdcard and check if it is formatted as FAT or FAT32. If not, right click on sdcard and choose "format". Quick format should be fine, leave all settings to its default.
7) Now, before installing the stock ROM, make sure to format phone's partitions. From CWM, select "mount and storage" then choose "format /data", "format /cache", and "format /system". Next, you may install the stock ROM or else.
It adviced to remove your external sdcard prior perform the steps above to avoid confusion and prevent your external sdcard reformatted accidentally. Also, I hope you were making backups for /efs partition.
Have a try, and good luck as you may need it! [emoji1]
