Hi I have an European z3tc 16 gb wifi tablet and I keep refreshing everyday to see if I get lollipop. Will I ever get it or do I need to root it?

I bought a note 2 running on us cellular but whenever you call out or do anything calling related verizons automated voice comes on. I bought the phone for 50 bucks and its 9/10 condition so i figured if i cant get it to work the phone its self works perfectly. But now that i invested around 8 or 9 hours trying to figure out why i cant do anything and why verizon comes on a US cellular phone. But If anyone could help me out it would be great. The phone is indeed rooted running 4.4.2 and i have acess to supersu and i have CWM 6.0 something. Any ideas?

I have two AT&T-locked Sony Tablet Ps. I remember from awhile back that it's pretty trivial to replace the miniPCI-e WWAN card with an unlocked one. However, the suggested card model is HSPA+ only. We just switched to T-Mobile and got two data-only SIMs as part of the deal, so we're more interested in using the Tablet Ps now with cellular.
Is it possible to upgrade to LTE with a new card? Has anyone done this? Thanks!
Hey,
Just find an LTE Modem/Hotspot and try this:

Hi all, I just bought a new Samsung S9 plus 256gb US version unlocked from Samsung's website and I have TMobiles unlimited one plan. The Sim card I got was in my old ZTE Blade V8 Pro unlocked (you can probably guess why I bought a new phone). After putting the SIM card in the new phone for about a few hours it was a night and day difference where places I tested my LTE speed was 30mbs verses 6-8 on the old phone and the internet loaded quicker.
However, later in the day I started getting no connection or slow speeds and sometimes got edge+ connections in places where even my crappy V8 Pro would get connections. I called TMobile and gave them my phone's emei number and the Sim number that I used. At first it worked better but I still get less bars of reception and there are times when it takes a while for a LTE connection when there is no wifi. I even get LTE+ and it will still load some things like twitch streaming slow.
Someone suggested flashing TMobile firmware to the phone to try help connecting to their network like their branded phone's, but I have no idea what file to download for TMobile firmware for Odin to flash. Also, would it help to get updates from TMobile faster? People who have a TMobile sold S9+ are getting the new delayed update but my unlocked phone isn't. Thanks for your time.
I can say with a great deal of confidence that flipping firmware will not resolve this problem. It sounds like a hardware issue to me.
I have this phone from someone who was throwing it away because the battery doesn't last for too long, https://www.gsmarena.com/benq_f52-7043.php
The phone has Android 5.1.1. It is locked to EE. I got a free SIM card and indeed while connected to GSM network (WIFI off), the battery drains very fast. If there is no SIM card and only WIFI active, the phones lasts for couple of days. I searched on Internet more about this phone, an original firmware or a solution to update it to android 6, 7 ++ but I couldn't find anything. The phone is rooted using kingroot (easy and efficient), and I removed/blocked some apps but nothing helped. I backed up all modem files. So, if someone has some ideas:
- where to find an original firmware
- how to update to something higher than 5.1.1
- how to solve the problem with the power
- how to unlock (what files to modify; where to start ?)
Otherwise I'll use it as a small tablet on my car: GPS (logs/speed)+rear wifi camera+Torque+stereo Remote.
PS: I'm still experimenting, and I haven't tested all the 3 options this phone have available: "2G-3G-4G", "2G-3G" and "3G only "

You can have it unlocked by EE for £9 I think.
They have an online form that you complete.
As title states how can I get around AT&T stupid cross platform messaging block. Absolutely stupid. Samsung does not offer an unlocked version of this tablet forcing you to buy it through a carrier and AT&T locks out key features. Which is absolute crap. Apple is allowed to sync there devices no problem why not us? How can I get around this???
IDK if you still need help. I'm not sure what phone you are using, but I was able circumvent it. I have a Note 20 Ultra from AT&T as well and a wifi only Tab s7+. I was able to load a U1 Firmware onto my Note (This will wipe the phone). I can now sync call and messages. It still doesn't want to work over mobile all the time, but if they are on the same wifi, or if my phone is on a wifi network and the S7+ is connected to the Auto Hotspot from my phone, it works pretty well. Here's the link to the U1 FWs for the Note 20 Ultra. https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/ota-and-non-ota-firmware-for-n986u-and-n986u1.4143833/
I can't attest to this working on the Carrier version of the S7+ though. Hope you can find something helpful here.
Best of luck.
