The strange thing is that, after sometime, I saw its notification LED glowing continuously. This was very strange and it never happened before. I took the charger out and the LED went off. I tried to power it on but nothing happened. Now situation is it is not able to power on & whenver i connect the charger, its LED starts glowing continously..... Don't know what to do. This never happened to me before in any of my phone's PLEASE HELP

clear cache from recovery and try again
It needs some time to reach optimum charge percentage for boot. Maybe you already figured that out. Well, good luck.

1. First Charge your device to optimum level (50% Minimum).
2. Then Press Vol Down and Hold it, now without releasing it, press and hold Power button too.
3. Now release both the keys.
4. You will enter into fastboot screen.
5. Now you have to connect to PC.
6. Select Recovery.
7. Now motorola logo will be shown, press and hold vol up for 15 seconds and after 15 seconds press Power once.
8. Now you will enter recovery mode, now you can release Vol up key.
9. Now select Factory Reset.
10. After reboot, your device will work without any problem.
I just solved the same problem to my friend's phone!!
Ignore the stupid comments.

Just try to understand what the actual problem is, and stop posting stupid stuff. This has nothing to do with clearing cache, and recovery. How stupid are you people?
Anyway, it just a problem of over discharged battery when the battery drops below the 3.8Volts, which is the minimum voltage. When the battery reaches less than 0%, the phone will not allow it to turn on, as it is harmful for the battery and it might burst. So for security reasons, the phone stops the battery from charging. I faced the same problem many times. Try jump starting the battery anyway, or consider replacing the battery. Go to a electrician , and them him what the problem is. He will fix it. It is advisable, to never let the battery fall below 10 %. Below 0 % , the internal resistance of the battery increases, and sometimes, a direct DC charge , which is above 3.8 V , might bring the battery up to 0 %. This is a very difficult thing to fix.
I am facing the same problem too on my moto g 4 plus after using my power bank(power ace) I used it continuously for 3hours yesterday and i kept charging full night but morning i saw just 54%. In the evening again i used power bank for 3 hours. I didn't find what is the solution!! I charged it for few hours but it is not crossing 15%. I am scare about how to deal. I request the experts to help us.

you solved this problem ? here is same problem
This happend with me once, I just let my phone keep charging overnight and it worked the next day, this has nothing to do with cache and recovery, your battery is discharged way too low, it might take 2-3 hours to charge 1 percent

a few days ago, I installed the CM9.1 v6 from scritch's thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987130
at first, i used the kernel v5 and it was working fine. 3 days ago, i downloaded and flashed the v6 kernel. 2 days ago, I left my phone charging at 47% for an hour or so, when i came back, i saw a black screen and the screen as well as battery was extremely hot(around 35-40 degrees). I tried switching it on but it showed only the kernel logo 'X10 never dies' and then again black screen after flashing blue led 3 times. I waited for 5 minutes. again it got extremely hot. I pulled out the battery and kept it aside for 5 minutes to cool down. after that i tried several times to switch it on but every time i got the same problem and i had to remove the battery to cool it down. at night, i kept the battery out from the phone only. I thought it would work in the morning. But yesterday morning I couldn't even switch it on. I connected it to the charger(an original SE charger with original USB cable). After connecting to the charger also, it heated up instantly but there was no display on the screen and it wasn't charging. I have been trying to charge it since yesterday(using charger and connecting with pc also) but it gets EXTREMELY HOT every time without charging or switching on. Please help me!
What should I do???

the phone is neither switching on nor charging.....I cannot connect it to computer also.....I cant put it in flash mode for connecting to flashtool....nothing is happening except it starts heating gradually after connecting to charger.....((
Tips to connect your phone in flashmode if there is no green light when you are trying to connect it to flashtool:
1. Press back button while plugging it into your computer USB port.
2. Do not release back button and press power button once while you are pressing back button.
3. Green LED light should appear.
4. Release back button when your phone is detected in flashtool.

I charged the battery fully using an external battery charger. When i connect it to flashtool, the green led glows but as soon as i select the file to flash, the led comes off and it starts heating again. I tried using Sony Update Service also to repair it, but as I click on next after connecting it, the same happens, green led goes off and it starts heating up.
Please SOMEBODY help me!!!!
I downloaded the Stock firmware from the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749426
I downloaded the India Generic Kit 1237-0692. I tried flashing it through flashtool but between 14-15%, the flash mode just goes off and the phone gets disconnected. Now, the condition is worse than before. Earlier, I was able to switch the phone on and see the 'Xperia Never Dies' screen from scritch's kernel. But now, nothing is there. Everytime I try to flash generic firmware either thru flashtool or SEUS, the green led goes off and it gets disconnected.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME FIX MY PHONE. I HAVE NO OTHER PHONE TO USE.
I dont really understand what your problem is

You should select the FTF file first then you can connect your phone when the flashtool ask you to connect your phone...
your steps are wrong... the same thing goes to me too when i connect the phone before i select my desired firmware file...
please attach your flashtool log
Here are some suggestions my friends note had a similar problem:
1.Try using a new battery maybe the battery fails as it spoilt and can't handle strain(my friend had this problem)
2.Since your phone won't do anything u can try go to a store and say I don't know what happened and ask for help
3.Did you try entering recovery and flashing a Rom or nandroid backup. Your question is not very clear.
Please let us all know what u did to solve the issue.

I just bought a new Xperia Go. Yesterday I was using it until the battery drained completely. Then I charged for the first time and stupidly I tried to turn it on. The first time I charged it showed the battery icon, but then when I disconnect it, it won't turn on. I plugged it on again but this time it didn't show the battery icon. The red led is turned on, but I can't get it to turn on. I tried vol up and power button at the same time but nothing. The worse thing is I can't remove and reinsert the battery because I don't know how and I don't have the required tools.
Please help! ;(
May the battery is completely drained!! Just plug-in the charger n after sometime it'll show the battery symbol

Ur phone is probably in the 1st situation of the following( xda calls this battery cycle i think )
1. Dead phone(no response at all)
2. Phone cannot boot but when trying to boot it shows a red led(which means the phone has a tiny amount of battery left)
3.Phone is charging and can boot
4. Phone is charged properly(100%)
So, in order to get to situation 4 u just need to charge ur phone for a while

I have the same problem with my Xperia P. I tried charge it fully a few times but when I turn it on it doesnt on. When I reboot or restart it, still it doesnt turn on or even vibrate (doesnt vibrate even once but the lights when restart or reboot turn to purple, after few seconds SONY LOGO will appear then shuts down. NOTE: THE LIGHTS (red, orange, green&purple) WILL JUST APPEAR WHEN IT CONNECTS TO WALL CHARGER... IT DOESNT RESPOND AT ALL WHEN CHARGER IS NOT CONNECTED
Hope you help me, please. I badly need it. Thanks in advance!
Hello,
Can somebody assist me with a problem I have with a friend's Sony Z2. I'm not very familiar with this phone and I have an issue with one.
It had the screen replaced because it was broken and before putting the last screw I turned it on to see if it works. I needed to put on charge because the battery was 1%. It worked perfectlyand then I disconnected it from charge, removed the battery flex cable to mount the phone back and when I finished it, I tried to turn on, but unsuccesfully.
All it does now is, every time I push the power button, the notification light is blinking red 3 times. Nothing more. If I keep Power and volume up is doing nothing, unless I put it on charge (on charge and power+volume up is vibrate 3 times too). I have nothing on screen. Reset button (the one inside SIM slot) makes the phone vibrate 3 times. The pc detects the phone 1-3 seconds and then nothing, I don't see it in my device management. I tried with another battery and same issues.
Any idea how to fix it ?
Thank you.
let it charge for 10 -20 mins
if not check battery flex
i feel its battery low or not connected proper

The flex comes with the battery. Since I tried a new battery, I guess isn't the flex cable.

On my 'old' Nexus 7 (2013) I have had the same experience once. I did manage it to get it on holding the power button for at least 60 seconds (!). Maybe this solution will work on the Nexus 9 ?
No, unfortunately it still didn't turn on
Unplug it and plug it back in a couple times, then try pressing and holding power + volume down to see if it gets into bootloader. If it does, select reboot / boot system and see what happens.

Sometimes charging for 24hrs off a usb1 or USB 2 computer port that only supplies 500 maH will bring a battery back to life.

For those still searching for a fix:
Hold both the volume buttons and the power button at the same time for 2 minutes.
leave the tab, and then after a minute, plug it on charge. it will start charging
Try another charger cable, it worked for me ?
Hello, friends
Out of the blue, my S6 Edge tried to restart, but got stuck in a loop at the Samsung Logo. One or two times it went to "insert pin" and then restarted again. I tried to Force Restart and it didn't solve the problem.
After a few tries, I managed to wipe the cache partition. Now it's simply bricked with a black screen and a Solid White LED. I can't restart it, enter download mode or safe mode or anything. Odin doesn't recognize it at all. Is there anything I could try?
The phone is not rooted.

Thank you! Tried it. Doesn't work. It's beyond my understading why would it behave this way after I managed to clear the cache. At least before that it went into download mode or safe mode. I still suspect a software issue.

So vol down + home + power will not get you to download mode?
How about recovery? Vol up + home + power?
This happened to me before and the way i got out of it was hold only vol down + power as soon as the screen went off completely (no led lit) switch to download mode combo.
Tried both of the commands. They didn't work. I will let it drain the battery completely and then see what happens.

reminds me of the bad emmc memory like the note 4s had.
some times completly letting the battery drain can fix it being "stuck". then recharge for 20 min or so then trying to turn on.
if u plug it into pc does it reconize anything in device manager
even unknown device or descriptor failed anythiing at all?
This morning the LED was off, so I tried to recharge it. Nothing happens. Also, the PC doesn't detect it at all. I think it's safe to assume I need a new phone. Too bad...at least if I was able to recover the data on this.

same problem here started over a week ago - samsung S6: black screen, constant white led. tried all variations of resetting with buttons. over a year ago i replaced the battery, and its been fine since. when this no boot issued happened i also tried changing the battery to a known good one. on inserting a battery and then pressing the power button the indicator led will go to green for less than a second before changing to constant white, and it stays that way no matter what until the battery is drained or the battery is removed. Strange thing is there is no information from samsung on what this behaviour means, but I've come across dozens of other S6 owners on the web with the same problem, so this is obviously diagnostic behaviour designed by samsung - but no info from samsung. the phone has never been damaged or watered or rooted so I'm at a loss.
Confirmed diagnostics:
The phone will respond to the power button and attempt to turn on
The phone will charge a battery, so the charging circuits and battery circuits are working.
The phone does not get picked up by a Windows 10 PC with Kies installed in any state - other samsung phones get picked up no problem.
Same here
I have the same symptoms. When I hild the vol up+home+pwr I get a green let for 1/2 sec then white. No other combinations do a thing. I swapped the battery for a new one. No luck.
Mine started a few days ago. The phone was 50% charge and i plugged it in for two hours. Came back and it had a solid red led. After a few hours the red light went off. It was then 100% unresponsive. I then took it apart and disconnected the battery. When I reconnected it, it started to do the white let thing described above

I found a kinda solution, plug your charger in and charge past 30% then unplug charger. then use just vol down and power button for 7-10 seconds, after 7-10 seconds just release the power button while still holding vol down button until you see samsung logo, you can tell if you did it wrong by the solid led being back on, repeat until success, once you have it on do NOT press the power button or it will RESET back to solid led/black screen.
I have the same problem with my s6 active and similar story to dbeeheim. Has anyone fixed this? And can anyone confirm that enzo13's solution works?
Much thanks in advance!!
i have same problem!
Suddenly my S6 dead, battery was ~80%, no charge
yesterday i try to change battery, after that if push power button, LED small light comes but in white with purple, then stuck. (it's small Notifications LED)

Same issue
I have the exact same issue. My Galaxy S6 Edge (G925F) suddenly died and won't get past the 'Galaxy S6 Edge Powered by Android' screen.
I am unable to reach the recovery options. I've tried flashing two different stock ROMs with Odin which succeed but without successfully turning on my phone. I've also tried flashing TWRP with success in Odin but it won't get past the 'Powered by Android' screen before turning off after +-4 seconds. The white LED is on even when the screen is black.
Just had this same issue, my battery died and I forgot to charge my phone overnight, woke up and it would not turn on, black screen. I did manage to replace the battery and do several diagnostic tests on it. My battery was receiving about half the power output it should be (this is normal it's a 4.5yo phone) and when I replaced the battery with a new one, it did not turn on. With wireless charging I can tell I am receiving a charge and with standard I can not. The screen does not indicate it is charging with either method but my wireless charging pad lights up indicating my phone is being charged. I think it may be the processor or screen itself. This really sucks because I lost all my data on my phone and data recovery can be over $500
