Supersui can't update my superSU Binar.
I iinstall another version still can't update..
Please help
I had the same problem with 2 Z Ultras. In both cases EasyRootTool didn't finish it's job properly on the first run. The batch file stopped while 'cleaning up...'. On both phones Titanium Backup ran without issues, but several other errors occurred, one being SuperSU not updating. I just used EasyRootTool once respectively three times again, until it finished the job properly.
And don't forget to install Xposed, the best software for rooted phones
Root your device again with towelroot and try re-install supersu from chainfire! and then reboot and after that update the binaries!

Install a Recovery for your ZU and Flash the Super SU ZIP
To install the Recovery you must use in Commando Prompt "Using Towelroot Method"

SuperSU ZIP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053

yeah but it was hard.
first upgrade to unrooted .402 (flash .402 with flashtool)
then run easyroot v5 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784900
i had to do it twice for some reason
next install dual recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785598
it should boot you into recovery after install, if not something went wrong
i think dualrecovery should install the ndrutils app, but if not get it from the play store and set your recovery to twrp
then download supersu from here and sideload http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
when prompted to update binaries, select twrp/cwm and then load into twrp after reboot (vol down i believe), go to reboot your system and you should be prompted to fix root on reboot
your binaries should then be fixed
Hey,
I just flashed the CM12.1 ROM by Temasek yesterday and tried to gain root access again.
Downloaded the SuperSu 1.94 and flashed it with the recovery.
Installed SuperSU from the Play Store but as I try to open the SuperSU option in the settings, I always get this message: There is no SU binary installed. SuperSU cannot install it - You need to manually re-root.
Does anybody know how to get root again?
Thanx very much.

hi, i recived the 6.0 update OTA today
my phone was on 5.0.2, bootloader unlocked, supersu rooted
using supersu option i removed the root, this to be able to install OTA (leaving supersu result in "update error")
updated to 6.0 succesfully
downloaded lastest stable supersu v2.65
downloaded twrp-surnia-3.0.2-r1
booted twrp without flashing (i don't want to install twrp) do this way in 5.0 and 5.0.2 adn worked
flashed supersu
phone stay at "warning screen"
to restore the phone i downoaded the 6.0 zip and flasched back the "sparsechunk.x" files
how to get the root back again in 6.0??
thanks.
exactly the same here, even with supesu 2.71 beta
You have to install the superSU v2.62-3 (it installs systemless mode) OR in the terminal of the TWRP enter "echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu" (without the quotes) and then flash the version you want, in order to force the systemless install. I still recommend just use v2.62-3.
Supersu zip v2.62-3 and try: http://download.chainfire.eu/751/Sup...1211162651.zip
thinks @basili
I finally managed
That worked for me too
how
thanks it worked fo rme too
simply install TWRP 3.0.2r1 then supersu.2.62.3
I have a question. I installed the SuperSU 2.62.3 like its recommended in post #3, but Google Play shows that there is an update. Can I update it safely now?
i have my bootloader unlocked and everything ive followed every detail and it said flashed recovery was successful but how do i access twrp im only getting stock recovery plz any advice will be greatly appreciated thx in advance for your help
Hello,
I updated SuperSU via the Play Store on my E2353, and now it doesn't update the Binaries, giving an error message "The Installation failed, Please Reboot and try again.", while rebooting gives the same message, so DO NOT update via Play Store.
I will try flashing it via TWRP, so update will be up soon
**Update**
Tried Flashing the zip file via TWRP from Chainfire, but no change to the the Version.
Then I flashed the Boot.img (from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/stock-xperia-m4-aqua-xperia-m4-aqua-t3422263)
And I was back with the working version.
Same problem, after installing of new version of Super SU binaries won't be updated. If you find solution, please share it.
Well...My E2303 LB 5.0 LP get Su 2.65 (? something close), after rooting with toolkit that we all can find in this m4 xda forum, and after updating from GP store to 2.76 app told me to wait a moment, i've instaled binaries trough app.. Couple of sec and it was don, reboot, soft and root is working fine
Problem is with version 2.78 and Marshmallow . So after update to this version, few days after, I can't find solution and decide to uninstall it and then after reboot everything work correct again with version 2.76. To prevent future problems, in Google play I disable automatic update.
hi guys
i have e2333 mrashmallow rooted
when i tried to update supersu binary , i got installion failed
then i flashed un-su zip , after reboot i lost root
i tried to reinstall root in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/m4-aqua/general/root-t3421932

Yes
I had the same problem. When SuperSU asks you about updating binaries, hit cancel. Then go to SuperSU's settings, find "Cleanup" section and hit reinstall. This should reverse SuperSU to 2.76. After that there should be no more binaries error. Don't install 2.78 update. I've done these steps and root and SuperSU works fine.
