Hey
Hello guys,
I know i might be off-topic but please don't punish me for being so. I'm about to buy a new Sony Xperia Pro for my mom, i chose this old device because it fits my budget while my mom does not want a very modern or a power house kind of a device. Just want to know if the device is smooth/quick enough for normal operations like chrome browsing, whatsapping, youtube streaming, et cetera? And how is lollipop on this phone? Let me know your experiences, recommendations and thoughts about this.
Thanks in advance.

Guys, will this ROM work on the Sony Xperia Pro MK16i. This thread is located in the MK16i section but the description says that it is for Neo and another model. Hence the confusion. Sorry for the noobish question but please clarify.

Awesome ROM so far. I've been trying to figure out the sim card not inserted on sprint cm12 builds. I guess its just because its still in development. I kinda hit a wall with it so far lol. Thanks for the rom
Doesn't taking the sim out and putting it back in restore service? I think it did for me on cm12.

T6 of all variants will be shared here. Flyhalf205, yes it has the same issues. If you go into settings, more, and something else, tap on cellular networks "I believe" then you will get cell, texting, 4G, & 3G data until you reboot next.
EDIT: T6VZW has been added to the OP, International is coming soon. Sorry folks it's been really busy at my house & job.

Again, so far so good. Everything been running smoothly!
OK, the nav bar is also missing when in landscape just like in the Sony version. Changing the DPI resolves it.
Sent from my Xperia Z Ultra using XDA Free mobile app
Also having issues with Bluetooth audio streaming, not able to get it to play to car just like CM 12 is having the same issue with Bluetooth audio. Will try to get a log for the issue. Also as mentioned in the original Z Ultra thread double tap to wake (d2tw) isn't working. Has anyone else gotten tap to pay via Google wallet to work with AOSP 5.0 ROMs? All in all this is the best ROM for the GPE IMO even with it's flaws. It's still much better then the stock 5.0 release Sony rushed out to the GPE.
Thank you Dev!!!!
New Release v1.0.0 out.

[Nav bar thing remains the same for now.

After flashing this rom, how do you get to recovery?
How do I get recovery on this ROM?
Have you already enabled developers mode and made sure Advanced Reboot was enabled?
Yea, same here. Stuck with stupid cyanogenmod recovery. how do i permanently replace it with either TWRP OR CWM? I didnt get to do a few crucial things before i turned my phone on and unexpectedly booted my custom recovery away.

Hello. Cool Rom!
On a few other Cm based Rom configurations there is the option in (Buttons) to create a search button in Navigation bar. It's so nice with large devices to have that.
Could this please be supported?!
Thanks

Navbar customisations cause other issues like no navbar in landscape mode at stock dpi, etc. Henceforth it was reverted from the candy sources itself.

No you need a unlocked bootloader first then flash the kernel inside the rom zip using flash tool then goto cm recovery and then do the same which i write on instruction.

This is not a Rom with Sony ui. This Rom has Android official ui. If you want Sony apps try installing syryflex or add-ons but don't ask for include it in the Rom [emoji1]

Could you add volume steps for media w/o xposed modules utilized. Most 5.1 roms have this feature...i'm surprised your rom lacks one Having hard time tailoring sound volume especially for music playback. Anyway, the rom is good...stable and responsiveness of the ui is great.

Is the ROM good enough to be used as a daily driver? No freezes or stuttering during video playback?
P.S. Asking this here as there isnt any Q&A thread.

Rom is surely good enough for daily use. Impression till now: good for multitasking, i am not a gamer so i dont know about that. But rom is verry responsive, no lags or screen isues till now
I use rom kernel.
buttery smooth and rock stable. No issues till now. Nd very good battery life, i guess i will settle on this one. Using with t9 kernel and xposed installed. Thank you for this amazing rom.
