Since @Tkkg1994 released IronRom for lollipop, I managed to fix up a theme in the meantime. This was made for IronRom which was supposed to be a feature of that rom. But this theme should work fine on other roms. I am calling this alpha as only the systemui is themed and not the rest. Should work regardless. I hope you guys enjoy as I had to learn the new Lollipop stuff for the past weeks.

I think it looks great and I guess the reason this thread isn't filled with posts just yet, has to do with some issues guys are having with rooting, flashing and some discovering of the new firmware itself.
That surely is keeping them busy, 'cause this looks nothing short of stunning.

There has been 13 downloads so far so.... yeah people have tried it more should come as ironrom has everything fixed now including root and all that. I miss cm roms too but I kinda need to stay on touch wiz to use Samsung printing and all that [emoji14] Thanks for you support as always!
@all Another update should come soon. It should have the notification fixed and changed back to white as full black notifications make the text hard to read like cm black themes. There's a problem which won't let me change the text colors to white. So for now notifications will have white backgrounds. I'm also trying to figure out how to make the settings black (to many lines of codes to test). Expect that ☺

Yeah, sorry, I had a very hectic week and hadn't quite noticed this. I will be trying this later. Definitely hope you can eventually black theme the settings as I have on my Nexus 5, but even what yo have looks great and I loved the theme you had for IronRom 1.x.
I have just sort of assumed the boot animation you gave us for KitKat doesn't work for Lollipop. Is that true?

I bought the tab s because my dad told me to choose between the ipad air or this. I chose the tab s and I dont regret it! This is also my first Android device which I never knew rooting and all that existed. I learned a lot since July As for the boot animation, it should work fine on lollipop. I had it on a couple of weeks ago when iron rom was buggy with everything so I can't be sure. I'm pushing an update somewhere today for the theme. As for the settings apk, I can't seem to locate where the code for the background is. There's too many! Thanks for your support as well as others who do all that time! ☺

Oh, wait a minute. I never installed the boot animation before-- it was part of the aroma installer for IronRom.

This is really nice! ANyone on IronRom should install this immmediately. Can't wait for other elements to get themed if you get a chance. :good:
Well... I have been working hard before state testing next week. After that, somewhere in may is the final exams that's all!
I can't seem to theme the settings apk. Someone said to edit the framework and it bugs out with flashbarservice has stopped even though I didn't edit anything I guess I will wait until lollipop is released for T700 so Reggie cheeks can look at the files and so we can work together to figure things out like we did with kitkat in which is how I ported discreet blue.
Anyway, I will start making different colored notification menus like red, dark blue, and more. Stay tuned!

Thanks! I also ported LG G3 theme while I was at it. If you guys find anymore themes from the Note 4 or S4 tell me. Just make sure it's not a layers theme as they don't work on our device. I might create one last final theme for this. Everything else is unthemeable due to some bugs in lollipop.
Of all the themes so far, this is definitely my personal favorite and,for now, will be the one I use. However, great work on all the themes. :good:

I flashed and ended up getting SystemUI has stopped message that couldn't be dismissed. Luckily, I've learned the trick of rebooting into recovery when you can't turn the unit off. I'm going to redownload and try again, but any clue aside from a bad download why this might have happened? Did you try this with IronROM 2.1?

[1/14/12] - Updated to v2.2.0 and now Fully supports BulletProof Rom v2.2.0!!!! Well guys after chatting with xboarder56, I was finally able to get the FULL theme working again with no need to install a skin apk..... In order to do this I had to use almost all of the stock widgets from BulletProof Rom v2.0.1, there was no other way, but these widgets have been tested and everything seems to be playing nice again Because of adding all of the stock widget, the theme is now around 148mb, but it is only replacing the stock widgets that are already on you phone(It doesn't add any new ones, and they are not modded, they are just "plain Jane" stock widgets)...... No real changes to theme itself, mainly just updated to work with the latest BulletProof Release......... Enjoy!!

the dialer and KB that are used in this theme were both made a while back, back when I made my first DHD theme for virtuous rom with amresh.. I never used them because I couldn't change the color of the letters and numbers that are on the buttons... but that will be sorted out soon....

Is there a way to have the theme on all but the main screen? I really like the look but I don't want to get rid of my kitty picture on the main screen. She is just too cute to lose! On my WM phones, I could set it so the main screen had just an image of my choice but the other screens had the theme. On the Amaze or Android in general, the picture stays on all screens. Just curious.

you can just change your wallpaper from the default wallpaper that comes with my theme and select that rascal of a little kitten wallpaper that you have .... but it will change the wallpaper for all of the 5 home screens..... as far as I know you can not have different wallpapers on different home screens, if you want one then you have to have it on all pages..... It prob can be done, but that is beyond my skill set....

Use Multi picture live wallpaper in the market. It allows you to set an individual wallpaper for each screen.

This is one of the nicest looking theme for my personal taste but I am kinda old and my eyes just couldn't tolerate the transparent on the pull-down notification (I always have many apps on it to launch as a shortcut) The last time I installed it I can't read all of those black letter on the notification panel ...
Don't wanted to asked for too much but can you make a patch to make the notification panel become white/non-transparent? I really loves to have this theme on my phone though

I was going to wait until I was completely finished to release this but it seems a red theme is in high demand and with ICS leaks starting I didn't know how long until it would be outdated.
This is my first released theme for android so go easy on me. Another reason I'm posting this is to get some feedback from the community as to what they are looking for in a theme. I do have 2 small requests for anyone reading this or downloading this theme.
1) If you want to use or port this theme as your own ask me first. I spent a lot of time editing these images and want to know where it's going and that proper credit is given.
2) I recently realized the lack of real feedback in the android community. I see tons of mods and themes with over 1,000's of downloads and only 10 people where able to take the second to hit the thanks button. Also multiple apps on the market with millions of downloads and only 10,000 comments that's a pretty low percentage!! I hate to sound demanding but come on people!!!! It only takes seconds to do this and it's gives us themers, modders, and hackers something to go off of and keep doing what we do.
Lastly I wanted to give thanks to all the members of the various Android forums that wrote guides for people like me to learn stuff like this. I haven't looked at the ICS framework so I hope they didn't mocve too much around or it may take some figuring out. More than likely I'll port theme to an isc build.
hmmm after 30mins the status bar FC and the notification completely disappeared..rebooted it n now its back..

Yea everything else runs FLAWLESS but it jus happened again but for like 2 seconds and pop rite back up but the FC didnt pop up this time, i think it happened wen i got a gmail notification..not sure tho
I tested tthe Gmail notification and had no issues. Been running for a few hours now with zero issues. I love the rotating animation in the pull down menu!

Do you need root for this? I just grabbed a skin but it was an app I downloaded from the market. I've installed apps using adb before but based on the instructions it sounds like root is required.
I will be rooting but am studying up on Android OS and flashing ROMs/kernels before I do.
Also, once this is flashed, is it added to the skin/theme options on the phone so that it can be selected and deselected (blasphemy I know)? And is it all or nothing or can certain elements be changed, such as wallpaper or something like that.

Wait, you're a noob? You seem so seasoned in all your posts!
To answer your questions... yes you need to be rooted to flash this. This will not be a skin as it is a theme that you have to flash from recovery. It will not be added anywhere like the HTC skins. This will simply be applied to your phone. That means that you can continue to use that skin if you want to in order to add a little more to it. I'll be running this in a second and using one of the skins that was just released recently. And most of this should be all or nothing, in a sense. You will still be able to change things just like you could with the stock theme. Meaning that you will be able to change the wallpaper and stuff.
EDIT: You also need to realize that this is a theme for Ineffabilis. That means that you need to be running that ROM to use this theme. If you try to flash this theme on top of a different ROM or the stock ROM, you could have serious issues. Still can't get over that you're a noob haha
EDIT 2: You also don't need to use adb for this. You can just download it, put it on your sd card, boot into recovery, wipe your cache and dalvik, then select flash zip menu. You can then select it off your sd card. Much easier than doing it through adb, imo.

Yup, total n00b. Except that I've been reading almost every post in the Rezound forums studying up on what I need to know about the phone and rooting/flashing etc. I have to get my geek fix here cuz my girlfriends just wanna talk about pregnancy, adoption, etc...

Haha, no problem. I am thoroughly impressed. If only more would read everything before posting I would definitely recommend Ineffabilis, though it will be dead soon. It is the best ROM right now, imo, but there will be better to come with the ICS leak out. I would suggest using that ROM for now, though. I like Ziggy's kernel, too, but others have had their issues with it. I've been running it since I rooted and haven't had an issue yet. (Well, it does bootloop when I'm charging it and it hits a full charge). But it's pretty stable for me. I'm flashing this theme right now, but I'll be using the Red Beats Skin on top of it.
Edit: This is to the OP... I didn't want to flash this because I thought it kind of looked meh in the pictures. Just flashed it and holy crap it's gorgeous! Big props and hope you keep adding themes for all the ICS ROMs.

Yeah, the only thing I was still unsure of after flashing it was the font. I read too much on my phone and it was starting to bother me. I just installed the Roboto font, though, and I love it again You should make other colors like blue and green You know, if you have time haha

This theme simply changes most of the systemui to a dull white instead of the blue that comes with ICS
Also this theme removes the annoying blue bar that comes up at the top when using adw or other launchers

so youve gone onto this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1461240 and installed that rom by clockwork mod?
to get into clockwork mod you have to turn off your device then turn it back on but press the down volume button when your turning it on
once in cwm go down to install from zip and find where you have saved that rom
seriously if your this much of a noob look around first and learn a bit about android and rooting befor you start installing themes and mods but ill try to help you as much as possible anyways cause thats the kinda guy i am
In fastboot mode i flash the recovery img,i reboot my tab and still freeze on loading and my computer not reconize my tab, to put the stock room.

There is a kick-ass themer on the Galaxy Nexus forums (Rootzwiki anyhow) that did a theme called "ICS & Black", that replaces all the very bland grey menus with a super nice translucent black, and quite a number of other changes. I'd love someone to modify that code to run on AOKP/ICS--that theme actually runs on AOKP for the Nexus--I wonder how hard it would be to port it to AOKP/Tab? Honestly this would give you a huge head start, and perhaps that Gsxrdon would let you modify it from there--up to him. I actually like the blue/white combination of ICS, especially since GSX figured out how to get a pure white as opposed to the greyed out white that is stock.

It generally changes all the menus to a jet black, transparent background versus the grey stock. Also, it replaces the grey-white lettering with pure, bright white--and, yes, uses the stock "ICS Blue". I personally love the look--you have to see it, especially on a Super amoled screen, with those deep, deep blacks. Not quite so good on the tab, but still gorgeous. There are a lot of details to this, including themed gapps as well. All I can say is the final effect is stunning--it all hangs together quite nicely. Stock is so bland compared to this. Even if you don't love that blue, when combined with a pure white and a deep black background, it's lovely.
I think a strong theme on this would do a lot to get more people to switch to ICS, which seems to work quite well-and I"m coming from Task's version of Honeycomb, so I had a great rom to start. I think ICS is simply a better starting point. The black-cyan theme to me is compelling enough that I and many others wait to update our phone rom until the theme is available for that version. I think this would give the tab some real sizzle.

If you succeed, I know for a fact I'd like to have it--you may of course wish to modify it further--please bear in mind to provide credit as appropriate to the original developer. It won't look as good simply as the screen isn't as good, especially when it comes to rendering black, but I'm sure it will still be terrific, and I appreciate you taking the time to check it out!

well i dono what the resolution is on thst phone but if i port it ill ptobs have to make most of the images from scratch but yeah ofc ill ask the dev first as he looks prettt adamant about it on his thread

He doesn't want it "stolen"--I'm sure he'll cooperate on this--I have made him aware of the issue directly as well--He was also interested in the differences between the tab and the phone. I assume the rom itself is virtually the same, and I actually tried themeing it--it did boot, but the theme killed the system app so that the softkeys and the status bar crashed. Other than that, it actually worked, in that for example the power menu was themed perfectly, as were many of the application menus. I thought the fact it booted was a good sign. I cannot believe the dev won't let you do this with him for the tab--perhaps you can get joint credit--I would guess that's all he wants, and that he'd help you, though his time is limited. However, since he supports AOKP, I'd think this shouldn't be too hard for him. Please let me know how it goes with him. Regarding the resolution of pictures, I have no idea--the screen on the Nexus has almost as many pixels as that on the tab, when you get down to it--very high resolution screen.

1. You can take a file explorer with root access and place the file in that directory and reboot.
2.Goto where you have sdk installed /platform-tools and hold press the shift key and select open command window here
- plug phone in usb make sure the drivers are installed and the phone is recognized via adb devices( if you see a serial# you phone is recognized)
-type:
adb remount
adb shell stop
adb push "drag n drop the file you downloaded into the cmd window" /system/usr/keylayout

Theme Version 3.5 + Inverted Skin is included in theme
Ok everything is basically fixed you may spot some black here and there I moved google apps to data to get rid of the gapps.process error so now if you want to update your google apps and you dont want them inverted anymore go right ahead lol...

This version represents a huge update in the inversion of the sense resources vs google framework... I have completely inverted both sucessfully today to work with one another... Every popup menu and input menu anthing thats a square that popups for anything is a dark color... Black the txt value has been removed from the framework not the color just the value... All layouts get black removed as well. Its inverted and all known issues have been fixed as far as I know...
New SS's will be posted tomorrow.
The skin thats included uses music lover assets so the lockring is black and onpress holos are blue!
I will opt everything out in the next few days and repost the opted version...
I may do the notification icons but that's about it that is left to do gfx wise...

And I cant control what other apps do..Since I can only invert this rom and what comes with it. And what I provide along with the rom. I cant control how apps are going to respond to the inverted framework/resources... Alot of times youll see problems in apps...This is just part of the nature of inversion... The apps that come with the rom will all be fixed for the inversion so if you notice something, feel free to point it out.

I just want to make it clear that chos rom is the same thing as the chameleon rom without all the pokemon crap in it... Sorry not a fan myself but hey to each is own...

Like I said what cho did was take Joels work and reodex it... Honestly Joel takes that work from everyone else anyways so... On that note yeah its just a hybrid of an already existing rom... Think it had to do with the pokemon stuff honestly... All the same its a good rom so far but will not be updated... I will carry this to the next best rom which most likely will be miks rom...
Kanged roms are all over the place not that kanging stuff is good but at the same time it was necessary in this case if you ask me...

This looks great. definately gonna have to give this rom/theme combo a go. Would it be possible to incorporate this into the villain theme engine so it could install on any rom?

I tried out the rom already. Im a big fan of chogard's blue rom for the 3d. I'm gonna flash back to cho's if it gets updated to the new base 1.22. In tweaks the recent apps remap to menu dont work. Other than that its a good rom without all that pokemon crap in it.

Well it's not that I dont have love for them, It's just I have been with themikmik for quite some time now now and I will continue to ride it out over there. Like the website like the people and especially love the roms so... Yup give it a try man youll like the forums over there...
The Ultimate Real Icon Theme v5
Note, this is intended to be a Verizon Touch Wiz theme, any complaints from other carriers will be ignored.
It is finally here.... Thanks for waiting patiently.
The theme can work on most touchwiz roms. There are roms like Hyperdrive and Beans that have a lot of custom systemui that can end up breaking the system bar. The least mods you have, the better your chances of sucess.
The Aroma is still a little figidity. Sometimes you have to hit next a second time even after it has vibrated to indicate it was pressed
###Please Note, if your rom does not have a 1% Battery Mod, you can not install the % batteries because they won't be accurate. This is not the fault of the theme###

Thanks guys for all your hard work. I would also like to thank the Aroma Team and Villian Themers who make this possible. Without it, this wouldn't be a universal theme.
There is still tons to come so this is just for those that like to follow along.
Changelog:
v.03 - added about 50 new icons to Contacts (menus and tabs) and integrated my themed Google apps including the new Play Music.
v.04 - added MMS theming, systemui and framework-res theming.
v.05 - added theming for settings
v.06 - I updated gmail and google music but I have only themed the launchers on the new maps, its a bigger task than I have time for right now.
v1.0 - Pulled all files together and added Aroma Installer. Updated Play Store and Maps
v2.0 - fixed the 3d signal bars, i accidentally had the wide ones in place of the regular width.
V3.0 - Updated Google apps, Added eyes for Smart Stay. Everything works in ME7 except batteries, i will rename them soon.
v4.0 - Added 5 styles of dialers
v5.0 - Added new Play Music, Gmail, Google Voice. fixed aroma issue and updated aroma base. No double clicking needed now.
**notes on Google Apps. I moved them all to Data/App except the store. My script removes the old ones, well, i delete a large number of file names that I have seen them called in the past. But, if your current one is under a different file name that I don't delete, it won't show up. check in /data/app and system/app for two version of whichever one it is. If you delete the old one and reboot, it will come back.
***I do not provide Stock themes for you to go back, that's what Nandroid is for. So make a Nandroid and you wont have to fuss.***

The bad thing is that you cant port this from the s3 or the note 2 because it has a bigger resolution, hence all bigger images. So unfortunately its starting from square one again, which is why there is so little done. And then again, it doesnt mean squat without the aroma installer working.

This is hardly our normal mass of work. Seeings we still don't have a working aroma, I decided that we would release all the status bar mods as individual installs (which you can find all over the s4 theme forums or just look in my beitel.us thread) and then start working on the core of the Real Icon Theme as a single install without choices (yet).
So far, all we have is most of phone apk themed, most of contacts apk themed and the Launcher apk themed. Of course you can always add the google apps theming from my other thread to give my theme a small amount of completeness.
There is still tons to come so this is just for those that like to follow along.

Yoooooo thanks much! I said in a different thread I'm a developer, but I use c# and javascript. My only knowledge of java is from comp sci classes. I wish I had more spare time, this stuff looks like so much fun!

No problem man . Start making a back up to be on the safe side. I am pulling the XML from a stock rom and the stock battery, that will replace your modded XMLS and that circle battery.
(FOR OTHERS TO READ: THIS ISNT FOR OTHER ROMS EXCEPT SYNERGY!)

Actually, wth am I talking about. This should work for every I545VRUAMDK ROM but make a backup first and I'm waiting for a confirmation that it does work.
ALSO, if your dev made edits to the XMLS inside of SystemUI it could possible break those features. Such as transparent status bar and things along that line.
