I made this topic on the Minebuilder Forums, but it isn't that big, so I thought I'd post it here.
What's minebuilder?
Minebuilder is a basic version of Minecraft for Android. You mine blocks and make them into structures, find ores, smelt them & use them.

I'll start off with my map so far soon.
LOL just started on this game. not very use to it and it fc's a few times but overall not bad.
runs really smooth , didnt get any FCs but it really annoying that i can only walk or turn in like steps, im guessing its because we have a resistive screen and the lack of dual touch

Left stick to move, right to look around. Use the - button to remove blocks and the bag button to open the inventory. Select the block you want and use the + button to add it.

Done anyone know of any suitable way to capture video of running app on android device?
I've tried several
Capture apps (none reliable though, one said it was taking view, but did not store it, another was unable to start the service). BTW on a rooted dev.
Moto webtop (this really sucks @ 5fps)!!
Thinking about getting a phone grip, putting pu camcorder on stand over my shoulder and do the job. But what about screen glare from the phone? Anyone had any experience with these? Suggestions would be helpful if you've done that before.

Yep screencast. Brilliant app that can capture in high definition with sound and can add a pointer on screen so video viewers can see where your finger touched if you want them to.
Also the dev is regularly updating to add new features etcetera.

just tried screencast http://code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/
I commend the development effort, it is step in the right direction. Features, limitations and usage is clearly documents, setting right expectations.
I for one right now will go back to camcorder

Canon T3-
Bought both apps a few weeks ago and just getting around to trying them out. Not sure how this is supposed to work. It's rather straight forward; takes you straight to the remote, but when I hit both the xD and xxxD buttons in the app nothing happens on the camera. Do I need the camera in a specific mode? Trying in full auto.

yes set the drive mode to 2sec/remote this will activate the Infrared receiver in the camera.
Ahh... The T3 doesn't have infared. I probably should have checked that out beforehand, but you might want to specify that in your posts. Keep the $, I appreciate the development.

this is realy hard to list all cameras thats has no infrared port.
I mean my app support 7 DSLRs companies each company has at least 15 camera ,I dont think the app description will allow this much of words.
and please send the gmail account you used to purchase the app so I can refund you. I insist.
works with T2i's

I'm not saying list every compatible camera. I'm saying maybe specify "infared remote capability". That should sum it up don't ya think? Again- my fault; I shoulda realized I didn't have remote capability beforehand.
And no, I really don't want the money back. I like that you're developing for DSLR's and I don't miss the few dollars. :good: Just gives me one extra reason to buy the T4i I've been thinking about.
Awesome man. I just purchased and it's working quite well on my SONY a77.

the T4i or 650D is great choice and dont believe that there is DSLR for beginners or advanced and I myself have two categories DSLR for rich people and DSLR for regular people.
try to spend money on prime lenses rather expensive DSLR.
I bought the canon 7d a year ago and I really regret because my intentions is for video more then photography what I mean is I am missing the awesome flexible screen on the xxxD series and the 60D.

glad it works and thanks for the review
I did find one thing, which I'm sure will be fixed in later release. The thing is that the app seems to be still active and running once you closed the app using the return button. Other than it works without any issues.

the story about this some user contacted me and told me that he had a problem and it was whenever the app starts it shows the canon remote and he had to slide twice until he reaches the sony remote and complaining about the loading time when the app starts.
so what I did is whenever you start the app for the first time the app will recognise your choice for ever and the startup screen will not show except for the first time or the cache cleared by restart the phone or clear it manually.
so dont worry the app is not running ,even if its running it will consume any power.
I did that so I dont want to confuse the use by adding settings and this the beauty about this app just choose your camera brand and it will remmeber it for ever.
Hey OP, I don't mean to thread cap but just curious.
What are the advantages to your application for $2.5 over the popular free DSLR Remote app?

Does anyone know any good IR remote app to use on my converted htc one gpe
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy
personally I like 'Smart IR Remote for HTC One'
its easy to connect whatever devices you desire, set-top boxes, cable boxes, dvd/blue-ray players, home theater systems. if its got an IR sensor this app will probably be able to control it.
then create a remote, you can create as many as you want. can be setup for just 1 dedicated device, or you can make like universal remotes. which control multible devices. from there, you can place the buttons as you see fit.
and if theres a specific function thats not listed in the device button selection page. you can make custom macro's right in the app and put a macro on whatever button you want (for examle, can have 1 power button macro that would turn on your TV, cable or set-top box, home theater, and blue-ray all with one press)
Smart IR Remote is the best, the guy in last post is absolutly correct. The developer created remotes for me to use in my Tahoe. Panasonic AV that couldn't be found anywhere on earth. Floating remote which is genius and also a plug in for tasker. If u have a problem or suggestions email the developer they will make it or find it or write something for u. U can create your own too. Buy the pro version it will ease your stress level. Having a remote for everything even my truck that doesn't need to switch to WiFi or Bluetooth or whatever.. IR is quite surprising, when my phone rings even driving down the road, everything mutes.
Here is a floating remote I made just to show u. If you care..

I just snagged a 64GB One from Swappa on an impulse buy, should have it within a week. From what I've read, it appears the Sense remote app has a learning function. I'll be flashing CM11, so I was wondering if Smart IR Remote can do that too? If not, do y'all know of any that can? I have some devices that probably won't be in any database.

Im not sure if Smart IR has a learning mode. but i do know the stock sense ir remote that comes with the htc one isnt very good. i tried it for a while and was so happy when i discovered Smart IR Remote. the ONLY downside to SIRR is it may seem overwhelming to new users. but trust me, once you figure out everything, its very very powerful.

what he said ^. the developers are very helpful, and they respond pretty quickly. shoot them an email about a learning function, if there isnt one, im sure they will put it on the list for future updates.

Ha, I eat overwhelming for breakfast. 19 hours of college credits this semester with a full time construction job. I usually tend to go for the most complicated/feature heavy apps out there. But I don't think the other phones out there with blasters can also receive signals, at least the One is the only one I've heard of that can. Pretty much the only reason I'd stay with Sense,is for that specific app, and that's really not worth it. I'll definitely email the SIRR dev if they don't have a learning function, because an OS-independent app with that would be amazing. Now how about FM radio? Do you know if Spirit FM is supported on the One?
Hi All,
You might call me paranoid but I am concerned about where my fingerprint (the data) is stored when I use this feature om my Z5(compact). Is it saved on the phone only? Is it secure/encrypted? ect.
I seem to be the only one asking this question because i can't find anything about it. I also tweeted Sony's xperia account but they are not replying.
I find it weird that when apple came out with there fingerprint scanner there was a lot of controversy surrounding this topic but it seems forgotten now that more phones have a scanner. I still find this a very important question though, as my fingerprint is something i would only like to use securely.
You can state of course that if you don't trust it, you shouldn't use it... Which is fair enough, but I still find that this kind of info should be available.

FWIW, under Marshmallow, fingerprint data is stored in a secured area of the phone. It is never uploaded to the cloud.

I've no idea how Sony do it under Lollipop.

Tnx for your reply. This was partly the source of my concern. Because Google made sure to let users know this and in the case of Sony here we can only guess.
