Hi, Greenify is suddenly not hibernating my apps automatically (nor manually). Version 6.2.1.
I have a kindle fire hd with fire os 4.5.3. Not rooted.
Greenify is device administrator and its service under accessibility is on. I have restarted my kindle several times already to no avail. I have even purchased the donation package.
I have tried installing an older version but it behaves the same way (apps just flash for a split second in Greenify's screen but they stay active when pressing the ZZZ button).
It used to work ok yesterday. When pressing the ZZZ button, the application manager used to pop up and you could see how the apps where stopped one by one. This doesn't happen anymore. Could it be the donation package interfering? Can I get it uninstalled?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Hi,I installed a virus and its been pissing me off.
I'm using the kindle fire and it is in version 4.5.5 of android and MIGHT be in 5.0.
Whatever,I can get into safe mode and everything, however when going to device administrators and I try to deactivate it so I can uninstall the app it goes to it before I can press the OK button,so then I have to go back in and its a never-ending loop.
I do have ADB auth and plenty of time after friday,my kindle is not rooted and I finnally have a better grasp of this.
I tried to use a bloatware remover but I don't know the name of the app.
It was called XXXVideo and the device admin was called "Update".
Please don't ask how I got this together.
So,how do I disable device administrator permissions for this app using adb,or forcefully uninstall the app (if I can find the name of it).
I will happily provide information, just as long as you don't ask how I got into this mess.
Once again,tl;dr
Kindle Fire HDX 8.9
ADB: Yes
ROOT: No
SAFE MODE: Yes
I've installed Greenify + Donation Package on Huawei Ascend P8 Lite and I have issues with Automated Hibernation.
Phone is rooted, but I run Greenify in non-root mode, because I plan to unroot the phone once I finish all customizations. Activating Greenify - Automated Hibernation in Accessibility menu has effect and enables Greenify to hibernate apps, but minutes after I lock the screen, this ability is lost and Automated Hibernation is again turned off.
Same thing happened on my former phone (EE Kestrel), but then I just assumed my android version was outdated and some (new) features just don't work.
What I did trying to fix the issue, was to clean cache, data, then uninstall and reinstall back Greenify. It didn't help.
Please advise.
Same here with a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua on Lollipop :-/
Do either of you have LuckyPatcher or other warez?
Me no :-/ It's my professional smartphone, I don't install such stuff.
@chennai no, not such apps (LuckyPatcher ). So, should investigate in another direction.

See whether any of the solutions mentioned there works for you.
On my Tablet, the popup to allow installation of "not trusted sources" pop up and want to get access to Install apps like "pornclub","funvideo","SuperBoost".
I restart my Tablet in Safe-Mode, but there this popup also appear.
How can I find out, where this Malware come from?
On my Google Account, I have two additional Android-Devices connected. On those devices, I doesn't got this popup (which try to install some apps ot my device).
May this cause of a hacked Google-Account, or is it a Security-Whole in the Tablet-OS? (Android 4.4.4)
I get my Mate 10 (L29 from Singapur) and install the 119 update over OTA, factory reset and start to install my apps (no backup/clean install).
First of all I can not install some games over Google Play, like Clash of Clans or Radiant.
Clean Google Play storage 2x and it works, so I can install what I want.
Than I can not run some apps, like PayPal so I make again a factory reset but this time over the recovery. After factory reset I install all apps which don't work. PayPal work, Tutanota work, AquaMail work but again a lot of games "is not compatible with this device", like Clash of Clans. Clean storage from Google Play and I can install anything.
So, after this anything works but it stop after some time. I do nothing, no reboot, no installation, don't change anything on the phone and AquaMail stop working. When I open a mail I can see anything, just not the message (white screen). Tutanota stop working, I click on the Icon, saw the logo and than just a grey screen. Sometimes (after reboot) I get now this application error: https://picload.org/view/drcollla/img_20171127_102900.png.html
The strange thing is I do nothing. I use my Mate, open Tutanota and AquaMail and after this no reboot, no new installation, nothing change on the system, dont connect it ro anything but the apps stop working.
Nobody?
Settings > System > Dev. > WebView Simulat
Anything works :/
In my case the same issue was caused by turning off automatic power management for Chrome which was connected with disable Android WebView. So maybe that will be helped for all of you who will get that strange issue.

Hi
I have a galaxy tab a6, android 5.1.1. When i boot in safe mode, third party apps like skype, coinbase can be activated from the home screen but not from the menu (app not installed is reported).
Also all previously running apps (system and 3dparty) are still running in safe mode. Phone is not rooted after two root checker apps.
Is that ok or is my phone hacked? I installed kaspersky, made a cache wipe etc.
Thanks for any help, holgi
