Hi, i updated my Xperia Z2 to android lollipop and i can move my apps to external SD card via 3rd part app2sd application, but i couldn't copy any file from internal memory to SD card (audio file for example). any solution please...Thank you...

Hello, i've a Motorola Photon Q with sim mod and android slimkat 4.4.2 installed on this, and all works fine.
On my storage property, i've " internal memory" (8go) and "SD" (16go), it's allright, but, in my explorer, i've :
-internal memory (the phone is rooted)
-sdcard 0 (/emulated/0/)
-sdcard 1 (/sdcard1 or external sd)
The problem is that, on android 4.4.2, it isn't possible to copy program to sd, i've downloaded link2sd for i will transfer my app on sd ( it's the only application that can make this on kitkat)
But link2sd giving me the next error message '' can't transfer app because your external storage is an emulated external storage..''
I would like know how i can to make for installed my app on my physical SD

hi guys i want to transfer data and obb files to external sd card but apps not working when i do this. is there anyway use obb and data files from external sd card? second question how can i move apps to ex sd card? there is no options in apps tab. thanks for reply and sory for my bad english
Hi I report a simillar issue to sony support 2 days ago. I understand that you need to modify of your external sd card within your explorer application.Here I have re: from sony support:
We would like to inform you that in Android™ version 4.4 (KitKat) third-party apps can only change SD card content that belongs to that app. If you, for example, want to move content on the SD card using Astro File Manger, it doesn't work in Android version 4.4 (KitKat).
This is a change introduced by Google. We cannot estimate whether this will be changed in future updates. In Android 4.4.2 Google has revised the usage of the SD card for third-party applications.
While downloaded third-party applications can read and open all compatible content on your SD card, they can not:
- create folders on the SD card
- copy or move contents on the SD card
- personalize the location of data on the SD card
Please note that preinstalled system applications still have full access to the SD card.
In coming software releases of Android 4.4, the File Commander file manager app will be preinstalled. Using the preinstalled File Commander, you will be able to edit, copy and move files belonging to any app (full read- and write-access to the SD card).

I think that with rooting your tablet and installing sdfix or xposed framework will fix your problem .....but you void your warranty

You need to 'trick' the file system into thinking your Ogg and or Android data directories are on the SD card.
Relinking manually via terminal, or using Foldermount both which require root is how it's done.

I Need to disable the external SD card on tablet android 4.2, how?
I don't want anyone who inserts any SD card to be able to copy files from my tablet to this external SD card ( I have 3 software pre-installed on the tablet thru which they can copy files) is there a way not to let SDCard1 be shown??

We can now use iy as internal memory or external memory in android m
But the problem arises when i select as internal meory it formate my sd card and sd card is accessable by any file explorers and if i select use as portable devices then i can access it with file explorer but my app cannot use it
So i request to all dev. Plz make an patch or xposed module which help to access to external sd card like older version of android by apps
Or make any module that any app forces to use doucmentprovider storage ui to access external sd card

Please Help me guys. I searched all over the internet but cannot found solution for my problem. Issue is i cannot move or install apps to my externel Sd card. They move only into Internal SD Card. Even Whatts app cannot link to SD card. I upgraded my Android to 4.4.2. Rooted my Mobile. Install dozens of file manager like LINk2SD, Move To Sd but they only Move Apps to internal Sd Card. Even I cant delete my media files from External Sd card , their pop up a msg by saying that due to android security you cant delete. My Sd card not Read only. Please help me or should i break this cell. Its really Annoying.
