I don't have a samsung pay app and in the app store there is Google wallet. Are they the same thing just named different or am I missing something?

I've found the link to be able to download the Samsung Pay Beta .apk file but I haven't figured out how to get it to install. Does someone else want to try? I'm stuck on a Samsung S6 Edge running 5.0.2. I wonder if you have to have 5.1.1 to run it.

I called today and they told me to download the Samsung Plus app from the Google playstore. I downloaded it agreed to the terms and logged in and then inside the app there was a link that said "Join Samsung Pay Beta". So far it doesn't do anything, but it seems promising that it might work tomorrow after the beta has officially begun.

I asked Tim Stevens (Engadget's Editor-in-chief) in their GDGT Q&A after the review went up about it. He confirmed they aren't there and Samsung hasn't said anything about whether or not they will make them available. Hopefully, we can find a way to port them if Samsung never releases them.

Thanks so much for the response! I can deal with the flimsy box. I can deal with the earbuds being removed. I hate the fact that S Pen based apps have been removed, either by Samsung or AT&T. I really hope that someone is able to port them from the international version.
Did you try looking in the Samsung app market to see if it can be downloaded

I want to get my hands on the new version of Slice - Shopping Organised, which allows you to track shipping information based off your email.
However, the app is not available in my country from Google play. I don't understand why, since the email and the shipping companies are pretty much the same here. Why is it restricted?
Anyway, can someone post the apk here for sideloading?

Thats not a source. The website you linked is just a collection of firmware.
If its "Official" firmware then it needs to come from either the mobile carriers directly or Samsung servers (IE... someone at Samsung is providing them).
It doesn't really specify either on your site or here saying where you got them from.

You still aren't answering the question. Is it completely official with my carrier so updates from them will still take place and actually work OTA? I think not!
