Hey guys,
I'm trying to download WhatsApp plus reborn but it seems I can't ..
The original WhatsApp Comes with the phone as Samsung apps and you are only able to disable it
Is there a way to Uninstall it yet ?

tried that already, rooted my s6 edge installed titanium backup and tried removing however it does not remove completely.
does anyone have a different solution?
I got the same problem with WhatsApp. Tried to install WhatsApp reborn, but it won't let me because what's app came with the phone and can't be removed! You can only disable it. But if disabled it still won't let you install WhatsApp reborn. This sucks!
Hi guys,
Any news with that issue ?
I tried different root uninstaller apps with no success...Damn I rooted my phone for that
would be time for rom development.. in a custome rom you can simply put it out.. so
We should just find where the installation files are. then we can remove it ...
Anyone knows where applications are installed ?

If phone is rooted, try es Explorer (or any other root explorer) and go to /system/app, delete com.whatsapp
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app

as i currently dont have my phone can someone help me in testing my app. In package manager i have tried to implement a way i can remove system apps without having to list files in /system/app.
it should first of use busybox to remove the package in /system/app, then use busybox and package manager to remove the leftover data in /data/data.
could someone test this update for me??

Well im asking myself about your answer and how its conected to my question....
How its a quastion for legit or not? If someone give his employs a phone and want to disable the camera?
Like in samsung fectory allowed to enter with cameras and phones with cameras? Right? Is it not legit?
Think before you answer....
Well, if the user who wants to uninstall an application from your phone doesn't know about root, titanium backup (there is an option to uninstall system apps there) etc then your best bet is to move it to /system/apps. If the app is there then it cannot be uninstalled through normal methods.
Bdw, you should've put your question in the Q and A section
Cheers!

to install an apk in /system/app , u should copy the apk using "root explorer" for example to that directory and set permissions to rw- r--r--(read write then read read ) but remember u have only limited space on ur /system directory about 500 mbs only
however u can use a launcher like apex , it has a feature to lock the desktop of launcher to prevent moving widgets or uninstalling apps from app drawer
u can also use an app like app locker and lock the installer app and settings app on ur phone with a secret code preventing anyone who doesnt know the code from accessing settings or unisnstall apps

Is necessary ROOT? Yes and no. For many operation is ROOT necessary, but when you need only uninstall specific application you can use for this operation app called "Debloater by Gatesjunior" (can be found here). If you have ROOT, u can use Titanium Backup, System app remover or one of the many other apps on Google Play. If you have experience with root folder, so can delete APK files from folders above.
Use of this list or material is, at all times, "at your own risk." I am not responsible for any damages or losses personal data like database, files etc....

You can try the debloat script available here

Maybe i can try make the script for better experience
The Huawei apps should probably be freezed instead of uninstalled stuff can stop working or you may need it in the future
I know it But many apps not necessary, so can be uninstalled without any problems (Notepad, Swype keyboard, file manager and many others). If I find some trouble after uninstall apk, recover this file and use freeze. List above i have tested, so is safe.
And every user can use own method for cleaning the phone. For all test is better make nand backup or backup APK files

No , there were certain apps which you never use , or use once or twice in the whole month.
U can uninstall them . But there is a need of basic apps as said earlier . the main cause of root requirement is To remove bloatware . every Android owner roots to just remove bloat and later thinks about costumisation

Remove GApps completly (for rooted phones)
I am attaching 2 scripts for Marshmallow and Nougat.
Flash using TWRP recovery. This will remove the pre-installed google apps completly.
Flash this before updating the apps from Play Store.
If you have already updated the apps, after flashing the script, you can still manually uninstall the updates.
You can then flash OpenGapps or MicroG
This is just gapps, right? Great for when I eventually root my Honor 8.
Any solution for Huawei apps other than doing it manually?

Hey,
I flashed the script to remove the pre-installed GApps through TWRP on my Honor 8 (US version) but it doesn't look like it worked. All the apps still show up as they were during the initial setup of the phone.
I ran the script right after I rooted and installed TWRP and Xposed, so I didn't setup/use the Play Store or download any updates.
Any ideas on what the issue might be?

We need someone with a Sony device to install the app, and then share the installed files in a zip file with us. This way, we would be able to run the app and connect to a PS4 console. Tried this before and it worked. I will share the files if I manage to find someone with a Sony device.

Do you have root access? If yes, things will be more simple. If your device has root access, then follow these steps:
1. Download Titanium Backup via the Play Store and install it.
2. Install (if you need to) the PS4 remote play app.
3.if you have your PSN account automatically logged in, log out and erase your PSN account info from the log in screen. (Otherwise people will have access to your PSN info). Or re-install the app while deleting your user data to be sure.
4.while the PS4 remote play app is installed and your user data is completely removed, open the Titanium Backup app , and choose the PS4 remote play app to make a backup.
5. Open file manager and get the backup file, I will send you FTP access via a PM to upload the backup file.
This will work as we will only restore a "previously installed backup" of the original APK. This way we will still have access to the full app, and allowing us to connect to a PS4 console.
Let me know if your device is rooted. Otherwise there are other steps we can do.

Hey are you actually working on this? I'm definitely interested.
There is a way working for Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ root versions.
Open the site on your Rooted S8 or S8+ the following link:
https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ and enter the following link there:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.playstation.remoteplay
Download the APK but don't attempt to install yet.
When the download is completed ooen this link:
http://codekiem.com/2013/02/13/market-helper/
And download Market Helper.
Install the App and open it.
Choose device > Phone and then next to it a Sony Experia Ultra and tap activate below and wait.
When done, find thr remote play app you downloaded earlier and install it.
...And tadah! Enjoy playing your PS4 games on the go!
Another method will be shared here later both for root and non root devices!

So how do you get past market helper telling you "user account not found" when you tap the activate button?
Edit: Just needed to grant the permissions...but still a no go as it will not install the app after these steps..still says incompatible.

SAGASE!!! Find him!!!
Rekindle the flame within.
Working Remote Play again, i can share what i did.
So, I had a working Remote Play on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F)) but just got bricked.
So i re-flashed it and rooted it with Magiska again.
Here is what i did to make it work again and to unbrick my phone.
1. Flashed these files in Odin v3.12.3:
AP_G955FXXU1AQF7_CL11544126_QB13847503_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
BL_G955FXXU1AQF7_CL11544126_QB13847503_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CP_G955FXXU1AQF7_CP6678953_CL11544126_QB13847503_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
CSC_VDS_G955FVDS1AQF3_CL11544126_QB13804218_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
HOME_CSC_VDS_G955FVDS1AQF3_CL11544126_QB13804218_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
Restarted Phone.
2. Installed this TWRP (S8 PLUS VERSION) by flashing it with Odin v3.12.3:
twrp-3.1.1-1-dream2lte.img.tar
Restarted Phone.
3. Installed this (ROOT) ZIP file by booting in to the new TWRP recovery mode i just installed:
Magisk-v15.0.zip
Restarted Phone.
4. Installed latest Magiska Manager APK from Magiska website.
5. Installed these from Magiska Manager application in Modules in Download section:
Sony Apps Enabler
Sony Framework
Restarted Phone.
6. Downloaded & installed latest Remote Play APK, started Magiska Manager application and entered Magiska Hide and added Remote Play.
Restarted Phone.
7. Started the Remote Play!WORKED!
