I have enabled the weather display under Edge Screen and have installed the Weather widget on the home screen but can't seem to get it display. Any one managed to get this to work?
You have to do sort of sort of a z motion swipe on the edge of the screen your edge display is set up on. You can also add other "tickers" and swipe up or down to see them from the edge
This should help you

With Active Display, your notifications are available to you right on your screen without any other clutter or distractions. You can easily open up any important notifications or simply dismiss them with a swipe of the screen. Easily view full notifications at the touch of a button or browse through all current notifications with a swipe of your finger. Active Display will turn your screen on and display notifications as they arrive if your device is out in view. If your device has a proximity sensor Active Display will poll it to see if the device is tucked away somewhere and if it is then the display will not be turned on. Want your display to come on the moment you take it out of your pocket? With Active Display that is just one of the many possibilities and easily enabled via Active Display's settings.

Is there a trick to swiping the edge to get the notification on the edge of the screen? ? It seems I'm trying about 3-5 times before it works.
Do you swipe the actual edge of the screen? Or the flat part close to the edge?
Yes, I have this problem too - sometimes i do the swipe and am unable to stop this
You have to swipe about an inch down on the right. There is a very faint grey line. Swipe there.
You do a z motion back/forth quickly on screen edge. Make sure you have it enabled in menu settings edge display
Hello at all,
I have a question, is there any way known to disable the zoom effect on look screen for S6 ? I like to use black wallpaper for lock screen, because Samsung has OLED and is really black. But with new S6 came this zoom effect and black is now gray or shiny black.... if i compare S6 with S4.
I found something with "loockscreen_ripple_effect" modifying with SQL but only for rooted device... i looking for roottree way, like using ADB Shell (for deactivation of Heads up)
Is there any way to deactivate this ?
Thank you
switch it off in settings>wallpaper>wallpaper motion effect toggle (note drop down menu at top to switch between lock screen and home screen)

I'm looking for an app that will allow the lock screen to be automatically rotated to landscape (useful when putting the Samsung S7 on a stand).
