Anyone else's phone kinda looks like this? Perhaps testing it using another color besides white will make it more visible.
I have the same problem
I remember a similar issue with the S2 back in the day which was somehow corrected by an update.
Hope it's the same for the S6 edge
Unfortunately that's a common issue with amoled screens, return it and get it replaced until you get a perfect unit , i'm getting mine replaced today.
There's a long thread about this on the Galaxy s6 forum. Seems like a common problem. Either replace it multiple times (or once if lucky) if your retailer allows, or live with it.
Mines not pink but at the top and bottom its a much more blueish white tone than the middle/center which is more yellowish in tone.
Waiting at least a week to replace because I am hoping a new batch will have arrived and corrected this issue as well as the issue of the spiral scratches.
Sent from my Samsung GS6edge
I also have the same problem with a pinkish tint one end of the screen. I have been through 3 units. Replacing it again today with the local retailer.
Its very vague but is definitely a pink gradient. Of concern is when I had about 3 different units lined up side by side with the same brightness settings and screen mode settings, the colour reproduction and sharpness of text and icons was different between all 3 units. Looks like the Galaxy S6 screens are not well QA'd at all as colour is not uniform across units. Very surprised.
Of interest. All the units were black. The white units I have seen do not have this issue.

Is there a way to change something so pink will show more?

This guy has a white one with the same issue...

I have the same problem: 64gb gold version.
I have the same issue but on middle of screen, degrade pink and green on white backgrounds. Model 925I
Samsung S6 has a manufacturing defect with their AMOLED Screens. There is a pink disconsolation at the bottom 1/3 rd of the screen. Many of their phones are reporting this defect.
Please be careful after purchase. They don't refund the amount and only give a replacement that too at the place of purchase.
Suppose you are on holiday and think of buying a phone in GOA. You will get replacement only in GOA. How impractical is this...????
If you are buying a mobile at another place please be careful. You will be forced to carry the defective piece to the place of purchase to get a replacement.
I have spent my whole day roaming after service centers to get a refund which they said cannot be done as they don't have a refund policy.
You are eligible for replacement only after 6 days of purchase only and you have to carry the set to place of purchase and get it replaced within 7 days of issuance of DOA (Dead on Arrival) certificate by their service center personal.
I have lost contact with the world since 3 days and i have to play my journey back to the place of purchse to get a replacement..
It's time you change your impractical policie
It is luck of the draw. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/general/s6-edge-problems-issues-list-t3120819
I've purchased mine this week. It has a slight pink tint at bottom. Do you suggest I replace it? I took a pic:
Have same issue with the screen s6 32gb gold platinum flat.
Don't have the pink tint in bottom but on the whole screen. Also some sort of darker line from the top to the bottom. In wich it looks like the leds are less bright. Does the s7 also has problems?

I just got a l800 2 days ago. Im sure the topic has been talked about and I have been all over the web and Nokia care. I can't seem to fid a strait answer.
I have a very faint pink hue that starts on the left and fades as it goes to the right side of my screen. I have a 1 pixel wide pink strip on the far left of my screen. I know this is normal with pentile displays. Is that what is causing the pink hue? It's not super pink, but enough to make it annoying when seeing a white back ground. IE email or browsing the web. It is more noticeable web it it set to autobright. If I set it to medium or high brightness it's much much better.
I know it's dumb to worry about but I just want to know either and hopefully ease my mind. Colors otherwise look awesome. I just can't stand the pink. I know it can't properly show white but the uneven pink to white is what is bothering me.
It's my 1st lumia product with this type of screen.
Thanks everyone in advance! I hope to be a full contributing member to this board going further.

I've never ever noticed that before, but now that you've said it.. There actually is a pink strip on the left side, but it definitley is not pixel-wide, i'm pretty sure it is ony sub-pixel wide. And the right edge is blue or green - can't really tell, as it's only sub-pixel wide. Looks like a pretty normal side effect of the pentile screen matrix not being a proper rgb matrix. Anywho, none of my Lumias has a pink hue (the white is kinda grainy, but surely not pink) so it looks like you've been sold a broken one.
I did my best to capture some photos that show it best. you can see its really really feint. Its hard for the camera to not add or remove any pink / white colors. Maybe that pink line on the left is throwing me off. But I think it spreads some. perhaps im crazy. Do you have any history mailing in to Nokia Care?

Have you actually compared yours with another one? Cause I was pretty sure this moring that mine doesn't have the pink tint. Untill I came to work and compared my phone with a friend. The difference is humongous, his Lumia 800 displays white and grey colors in Outlook, while mine displays pinkish-white and pinkish-grey. I cannot unsee it
Now I wonder if it's wear&tear, since mine is used a lot more for hours of gaming, or if it has been broken all along.
Edit: I managed to capture a photo in which the difference is clear as day:
It is kinda exaggerated by the angle and lighting, but that's the feeling you get when comparing those two side by side.
(the left one is Black and right one is Cyan, by the way)
It is imposibble to bing or google anything on the matter, would be nice if other pink-tinted Lumia owners revealed themselves.
I had issue on my first Lumia 800 with pink gradient from the left side of the screen and stretched well into the middle of the screen. Most noticeable on the keyboard for me. I got mine replaced where I bought it without hazzle.
I have a Nokia N9 now (which has the exact same display as Lumia 800 only 0,2" bigger). It is the exact same phone with different systems in it and some other hardware components. Though my N9 screen is very very good when it comes to uniformity. My former Lumia 800 was pretty much this good to as far as I remember.
I gave the phone to Nokia Care for repaires. They returned it after a week saying everything's fine with it.
Seems their quality policy on the colours is a little loose.
They did however replace the fatigued usb door, although I didn't request it, and didn't charge me for it
Tried searching for this defect in this forum but couldn't find similar posts. Basically my ENTIRE screen is full of small dots which have a diagonal pattern. It looks like the picture below but the dots are smaller and they are "rainbow colored". The color is similar to having a droplet of water on the screen.
Does anyone have the same problem? I know the tint problem is pretty common (since my first unit had major problems with colors) and quite a number of people commented on having the bubble problem (which this second unit also has) but what about this "dots" defect?

Seriously, Samsung's quality control just had to ruin things. I was so excited to be getting my very first Samsung and Android phone but having to put up with this after having to put up with the customer service in my country just ruins everything. Now I have to go straight to Samsung since carriers in my country only allow 1 replacement.
Do you only see it in direct sun light while tilting the phone in 45 deg angle? Well if yes then it's the digitizer and this is completely normal.

Nope, I see it looking straight at the screen. The brighter and whiter the screen the more visible it is. It's almost like it's reflecting light (just like how having a droplet of water on your screen).

Nah, did it through Photoshop. Tried getting it using my iPad's cam but couldn't capture it in the photo. The dots are way smaller than those in the pictures and there are more spaces diagonally but it spans the whole screen. Also, there are criss-cross patterns but only on the curved edges.
Maybe the glue of the lcd or the gorilla glass? Something liquid-like since it reflects light (brighter = more prominent). My first unit didn't have the same problem

Nope, no screen protector. This is my 2nd unit so I'm only planning to put a screen protector when I get one with no defects / problems.
I have the exact same problem
I just got my Galaxy S 6 Edge gold from repair from Samsung for Microphone defect and while I was checking the phone to make sure everything is fixed, I noticed the same problem as yours.
Are the dots considered as defects? or it's just pointer marks which every S6 phones have?
and what did you do about the defect?

It's a defect. It's the pattern of the Gorilla Glass but it shouldn't be visible when the screen is turned on. My first unit didn't have it but had other defects.

Haven't had it replaced yet. I'm waiting for the newer batches to come out so I'll have it replaced come July. I'm pretty sure it'll be replaced though since my phone has tons of bubbles in addition to the Gorilla Glass pattern being visible and slight pink / green tints scattered around (which I believe got burnt in since the tints weren't noticeable during the first week).
Even tho it sounds like a defect, it still is a pretty pattern? always looks on the bright side!
I have the same problem with my verizon s6 edge I had three replacement but they all have the same problem on the screen with small dots colored pattern lines, I only start to notice
When I crank my brightness to the high and also when the screen is off most people won't find this issue in less they start to look closely to the screen , i think most s6 are affected but most people won't notice looking from 1 to 2 feet away , I try to show some friends only few noticed the issue, but if you pixl head like me it's really noticeable on high brightness
Sorry I know this is an old post, but I have the same problem on my S6 Edge. Are there any soloutions? Should I send my phone to get repaired, or ask for a replacement?
http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/08/28/is-sony-using-two-different-screens-for-the-xperia-c5-ultra/
As we can see here, Hong Kong user faced 2 models of screen and 2 modes of touch panel
Truly got better contrast adjustment, but poor viewing angle
Innolux got poor contrast adjustment, but better viewing angle relative to Truly
how about you? Are you within this 2 models? Is there 3rd screen & panel?
is Sony gonna get this better in the later batch of phone or update? Such as tuning Innoux back to normal contrast

I just got mine today. Contrast seems on the lower side but viewing angle is good. From Singapore.
Where's the option to see the screen manufacturer? I can't find it in the service menu..
Innolux LCM got poor contrast adjustment because the color gamut (NTSC) is 70% only.
Spec from Innolux Official Website
I just visited the sony store again to do an exchange for my C5 ultra. I saw a live green one on display and the red colours had turned brown! I tried to play around with the white balance but couldn't save it.. I just hope that if this happen to me, it better happen during the warranty period......
how do u check what display u use?
screen is **** very bad colors
i am shocked

Mine is an innolux too and I got a bit disappointed when I turned it on the first time, you know.. that yellowish tint it's absolutely a turn off, especially switching from Moto X devices then to Z3C (that I dropped and screen popped out) and now C5 Ultra...
... but if you try to calibrate it, add just 68 of blue, my screen is also white and I have to say that to be an Innolux - blacks are black, contrast is good so assuming that all Innolux are the same can be a false statement. I bought mine in a Sony store and when I went to see for some cases and a dock I tried to play with the settings of 2 C5 that were on display, both with Innolux, but 2 different displays. Compared with mine only one of them was having the same blacks and in the other one the yellowish tint was not going away adding 68 of blue.
Yeah, baffled. Probably some are defective and need to be replaced.

You should go to any center/service and give them the phone and tell them iat not your fault and the device is half done. They must give you another new device. In Turkey, most of the people had your issue and they gave their phones to the service. They got their phones like 2 3 weeks later. According to their comments, the service took the old device and gave a new one.(with last update) it happened in a forum called donanim haber. Device is fine and has no problem except firmware. Go give your device sir.

I also have Innolux on my phone, purchased from Wind in Canada. No issues with yellow tint or light leak. Subjectively, and I know the specs say otherwise, it looks better than the screen from my old Xperia Z Ultra.

Hardware is the same, LTE is disabled in firmware.
I got a replacement because the first one failed to read memory card.
This time I got a black one, and the screen looks more even on white (Truly), plus the battery is better.
It's recommended to get black model (all variations) because the hardware is better.
Greetings! I am wondering if it is possible for this to be light bleed or is it another display issue? Basically a white bar is about .5" from the bottom bezel of the tablet. I do notice there is light bleed in that area, I'm wondering if it's the cause of the white bar? I tried my best to capture the defect and outlined it in red. It is quite hard to see in photo, but very easy to spot in person on light colors etc. I know there is a separate light bleed thread, but I thought maybe this could be another issue? Thank you for your input.

That looks like more than just light bleed. Light bleed on mine isn't as much a defined line as yours. Plus I usually don't see it on light screens. But let others answer here too
I am in the same boat as you, zetsumeikuro. I think it has to do with the cheap display panel that came with the Nexus 9 as I had the same bar of slightly-more-brighter-portion-part with my really old iPhone 3GS before heading to android. It's too bad I I can see mine really clearly too :'(

Thanks for the update! I also just decided to send my tablet into HTC for repair for this issue. I also have super slow charging sometimes, so might as well have them take a look at that too. Please let me know how the repair worked out for you. I was super reluctant with sending my 9 into HTC cause of my craptacular experience with the purple camera with the one. Had to do the "repair" 3-4 times, it was utter and complete bull**** and chaos.
Looks like HTC repair did the trick this time! Total time from me shipping the device out to them sending it back (excluding weekends) about 8 business days. They swapped out the LCD and fixed the slow charging issue. Tablet seems like brand new!
Looks like a lot of HTC's panels for the N9 are pretty cheap. My "repaired" one has the same issue, just to a much lesser extent. The defect is on the bottom but only a small part .
Does anyone else see reddish or pink on their screen? I see it when I tilt the screen. I noticed it a few days ago on my S9+ and now can't unsee it. Straight on it looks OK but at an angle the screen looks pink, like when scrolling through GMail or web page when my phone is on a table at an angle to me. Not sure if I should exchange and risk getting other issues. Otherwise my device has been fine. I went to the AT&T store near me to compare their display models and mine shows some pink compared to the store.

Mine show slight blue tint when tilted
The left one has a slight green tint. No AMOLED is going to be 100% perfect. Actually I think you have one of the better panels. It looks brighter and the white looks thicker compared to the display model.
Based on the number of screwy AMOLED panels I've seen, that one would probably be OK to me. My panel is yellower along the top quarter and I also consider that a keeper you can do so much worse in my opinion. In ten years they may finally nail the technology till then it's lottery.

Mine also turns a little pink if angled... i can't remember if my previous S8 also did so...
Mine turns ever so slightly blue when tilted. It's MUCH better then my Note 8 was, which turned pink at even the slightest angle.
Try factory reset, when I got mine and turned it on I saw from the boot animation that the display was white. When it finished booting it looked like it was stuck with the blue filter on. I factory reset and the display has been normal since
This can be adjusted, at least this is what I did on my S8. Go to settings, Display, Screen mode and fine tune it there.
So my wife and I each have a US T-Mobile model. Her's definitely has the pink screen issue. Duplicating the settings between the phones and the issue persists. I will be contacting T-Mobile for an exchange.
FYI - wound up not being a hardware issue for our phones. I found out that the native Android Night Light setting transfers between phones. Was able to delete, and use Samsung blue light filter settings, using Nova and the instructions here.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS9/comments/85blz5/psa_night_light_and_blue_light_filter_overlap/
anyone else experiencing this on their s9+? when i tilt my device, right before the blue shift, i can se a pink/reddish hue go across the display. do you have the same thing? should i be worried? it's kind of annoying, every slight tilt and i can notice it.
I think now that I checked it seems like mine also has a very slight pink touch on it... But i dont really care and I haven't really ever noticed it.
I use black everywhere possible. Dark theme, dark wallpaper, KIWI browser with AMOLED dark turned on, so this way I save my battery, i save my screen, and black is way better on the eye
