¿Games?

Do you know where to get freeware games for XDA1?.
I would like to know also if it's is possible to run old PC games in XDA
pc games no not that i know off
the arm cpu line is not x86 (pc) compatible
and i dont know of any emulator which can pull it off
many old pc games like doom and quake and such have been ported to pocketpc though
http://www.ppc4all.com/appdetail.php?id=1721
just search on google there are tons of sites which have tons of games where many are free
this is the search that i made to get quake
http://www.google.dk/search?q=pocket+quake&ie=UTF-8&hl=da&btnG=Google-søgning
i'm sure if you snoop around you can find tons of games
I always found putting too many games will make your XDA go slower!
i think that goes for any program type

[Q] Playing android games on PC?

I know this is a weird question but is it possible to play android games on pc with an emulator or something? I heard that there is an android emulator for pc so you can check out the os design and stuff like that but is it possible to install games (.apk) on it and play it?
Thanks for answers.
The Android SDK comes with an emulator, and you can use adb to install apps onto it, but it is incredibly slow!

Though that's likely to not work with some games - if they've used any C++ code, that'll be compiled for the Arm CPU rather than x86
Youwave for Android works great! My son wanted to play Robodefense on the PC so I found this little piece of software that's simple and uses .apk files I had on my G-Tablet.

I had high hopes for youwave after installing Android SDK and packages (They were really slow). Youwave seems nice and quick, but the first two apps I tried to play wouldn't work due to them not being supported by youwave
You can use Emulators to play games on PC
Some emulators come with inbuilt app store from which you can install and play the games.
For example Youwave. But they do have limitation like they cannot handle games that use ARM native code.
Also some famous games like fruit ninja , Angry Birds are available to be played online itself.
Try Google Chrom browser

Windows based games

I was wondering if it was possible to play windows based games on the T-Prime? I've been playing a lot of SW:TOR lately and that has me int he mood to play KoToR 1 and 2 again.
onlive
try the onlive client
also kongregate client lets you play web games.
remote desktop/onlive are the only way you're going to be able to play x86 based anything on android.
Past stuff like OnLive and Splashtopping into a Windows box, no. You could do WINE in an X11/VNC setup if it builds for ARMv7 on Linux -- but it would be to slow to be worth it.

[Q] Xperia Games

hi all,
does anyone know if the xperia games can be ported/played on the GS2.
my friends xperia came with crash bandicoot and its great,
anyway i can install on my GS2?
ive played many uncompatible games with chainfire, but i copied out the apk from the xperia but cant even get it to install.
thanks.
It's a PSone game, for which there are emulators on the market. Then if you own the original game, you can rip it and play it on your phone.
are you sure its the PSone version?
graphics seemed a whole lot better on the xperia.
i have the emulator installed and the crash games.
