Has anyone experienced this issue with PC Companion. It tells me my tablet has an update but when trying to download the firmware it blocks with the below screenshot and it doesn't have anything to do with the network or firewall or whatever thing like that. I'm able to download my phones new firmware. Please see screenshot...

Could anyone upload PC Companion 2.0 for me? Been trying to download it from the update service on the old version and downloading it from SE's site but it stops at about 225kb every time and eventually the updater shuts down.. been trying for weeks and i really need pc companion to get my contacts for work etc!

I was in the middle of upgrading my x10 to the latest available android version, using the PC companion. Unfortunately, midway through the process, my internet connection died and the upgrade did not get completed.
Ever since, my phone wont start and thus wont be detected on the PC companion as well. The phone still charges, but nothing beyond that would happen.
Any suggestions/ stepwise procedure as to how I can navigate through the problem and bring my phone to working condition?
Your help would be appreciated!

You could try flashing stock firmware and then see if pc companoin detects the phone.

This should hopefully allow the phone to be recognized by the PC companion software.
Please, I need a solution as fast as possible! I just tried to update my SE Live with Walkman to ICS using PC Companion, all was going well until I was asked to reconnect my phone in flashmode, the program didn't detect it and I'm stuck at this point: http://screenshooter.net/6943222/skrin_133 It ain't going any further, what should I do? I have a problem with PC companion.
My girlfriend got a message today that the update for ICS for her sola is available.
After the installer points you to a website with the changes for ICS at the next point the program closes with no error or anything.
We tried it several times with admin rights etc. Every time we ran into the same problem.
Do you have any fixes or something for this?

I've been using flashtool to update phone since Xperia Companion doesn't work with custom kernels and so I want to have it stock with stock kernel and everything but I always get the drivers error in flashtool even though I already started windows I installed drivers and keeps telling me I haven't installed them yet. Also I can't access my phone via usb, I dont know what happened it just dont appear as an external usb storage as before
