i have real problem i accidently brickd my phone through adb/fastboot i unlocked my phone already and when i tried to lock it again this happened
, this is the code that i typed in CMD :
adb devices
adb shell
su
echo -ne '\x00\x00\x00\x00' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 bs=1 seek=33796
exit
adb reboot bootloader
and after reset it as done my phone got bricked ( by the meaning of brick i mean phone not getting reset and its not reseting by holding Vol UP+power nor with pressing the red button near my sim card place and not even by taking out the battrey cable behind my device ) now :
when i connect my phone with usb cable the only thing my computer discover is ( theres 2 kind of discoverable device maybe they are the same : one when i connct to my usb 2 port and one when i connect it to my usb 3 port ; it should b same idnt know ) :
QHSUSB__BULK and USB Input Device
and believe me i TRIED every thing .
my question is now is there any version of S1TOOL.exe that would support Sony xperia Z2 (D6502 Model) , and if not is there any kind JTAG device that could support my phone , and the last question is where 's my phone TestPoint ( i found one point that when i connct it to gnd reset my phone . please review if it's right or wrong )

btw This is from my s1tool 6ii2015 :
so you cant get into flashmode at all?
(using all methods?)
(if you get into flashmode you can flash a loader.sin from a FTF)
see if you can take apart your device and modify the boot order to load the USB first
from there you should be able to access fastboot and flashmode
oh yah, you can type fastboot oem relock *relock-code* to relock your Bootloader
no need for much else at all
If you can't figure it out. How much would you sell it for?
.
z2
ty or all the replies no idnt wanna sell it but ty for offer : ) and about modes on my phone lets say no it 's not going to any mode at all .
but today one of my friends said maybe that s ure internal hard problem cause he assured me that my main board and display and battery is ok , and he said icould get a z2 internal hard for u and instal it and get the data from the source to upload to internal hdd , any idea how much would be the price didnt found any thing about z2 d6502 hard drive in the whole internet

You have any solution? ANy updates? my xperia z2 has dead, not fastboot. not flash mode, nothing. Please Help me
HI there,
Try pressing the RED button just beside the sim-card tray on the side of phone. If after pressing it, the phone responds with three vibrations, it is not dead. you can try using Flashtools to revive it after that. follow the flashtool guides if the 3 vibrations happen. good luck.

Need tool to access my phone via PC
I have accidentally installed a theme that is probably of higher resolution than my phone screen. Now in locked mode the unlocking option/pattern/graphics is not visible as it is 'spilling out of screen'. Android debugging is on in my device (thankfully). Please suggest me a tool/method using which i can control the phone using PC(or atleast unlock the phone). I (obviously) cannot install anything on my phone, i found some such apps that need installation on phone.
Last option is to flash my phone in recovery with a ROM, but i dont want to do that if other ways possible. my phone is on MIUI ROM developed on 26/9/12

during the repair there was following error:
new software found something like that..the process lasted for about 6 hrs
what to do?
Device Name XPERIA E dual 1605
firmware version 11.3.A.1.39
ROM: Stock ROM JB
Original Problem
device is on Rooted stock rom.
was trying to unlock bootloader..the process was successful and then I removed the usb and tried to switch on it only to realize that its in Bootloop
As stock ROM does not has recovery I dont know what to do now..Any idea?
Download "Sony Update Service" and restore your Sony Xperia E dual to original firmware again.
This will remove root access ( which you can apply again later).
For more detailed information you could ask for support in the Sony Xperia E forum as they'll have more information to provide than us in the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10i forum

THanks in advance guys
I'm quite sure that it installs the latest official Sony Ericsson firmware.
I've done it before, after softbricking my phone and it works perfectly. But after restoring you do need to unlock the bootloader again and root the phone before you can continue with installing a custom ROM.
With the flashtool provided, it is a piece of cake.
This tutorial will fix your unlocked Phones which got bricked through OTA update and are dead now!
I have Xperia neo v i unlocked its bootloader unofficially from s1tools,
When i updated the phone through wifi, it wont start then i made this
trick to unbrick the phone..!
Step 1: Download s1tools here and extract.
Step 2: Remove your phones battery and reinsert it.
Step 3:Open s1tool and click on identify now connect your phone and follow the instruction
(For NEO V press and hold back button and u will see the following message as shown in screenshot)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Step 4: When u got above message click on 'RESTORE' when the restore process completes remove the cable and reinsert your phone battery.
Step 5: Downlaod flashtool here and 4.0.2.A.0.62 Firmware here and extract it.
(Note:for flashtool tutorial click here)
Step 6: Flash the .tft file according to the tutorial and restart your phone, your phone will definitely start
(Note: After restoring, your phones bootloader will be locked, again u have to unlock to install custom kernels or roms.)
You are great man,i just saved my phone from the hell.

will this method work for Yu Yunique
[update 2013/04/10]
And it is back to life! :victory:
I still cannot believe it! I decided to have another go using the Haier W718 USB cable and guess what? The cable supplied with the Zhou Xing i9300 is basically a big piece of s****.
I can confirm that the test point which worked for me are also GND + KCOL0
I have flashed the ROM wich link yuweng supplied. Thanks, again, bro :good:
Most things work except:
1) The ribbon cable running from the volume keys to the upper board is detached and I am not sure of how to fix this. Is it crazy to "superglue" it?
2) The IMEIs are not recognised. I have tried setting them up manually (following a video from Colonel Zap and taking the digits printed underneath the battery slot). No joy, no matter what SIM card slot I try, I get "IMEI invalid". In engineer mode, under bandmode, I have actually noticed that no band is selected. I check those applicable in Spain and click on "Set", but it basically ignores it.
So I am trying to get now a new ROM, hopefully closer to our settings in Spain. I have contacted a fellow member from a Spanish forum. Fingers crossed.
Oh, I almost forgot. Since the volume keys are not working because of the detached ribbon cable, I have ported TWRP recovery for the Zhou Xing. I thought a touch screen recovery would come in particularly handy now! Here it is.
BACKGROUND STORY BELOW:
Hi all!
I softbricked my Zhou Xing i9300 (MT6577) and now it won't boot :silly:. I cannot even get into recovery mode.
The only way I can access the phone is by SP Flash Tool. Thanks to another member of this forum (Dragonevo) I got hold of the stock ROM. However, this file is in a zip format, so the kind I have seen updating from recovery mode. Only the boot.img file is found out of all the files SP Flash tool looks for. Is there a way I can get the rest of the files for SP Flash Tool from this stock ROM zip including the scatter text?
Thanks!

At first I still got it recognised as MTK device, but right now the best I get is an "Unknown device" under USB devices (not under COM ports). This is with the phone completely assembled and battery inserted. When I dismantle the phone to try to trigger test point, no sign of life whatsoever. If I try to update the drivers, I get something like "Windows determined the best drivers are already present". I guess Windows is only detecting the device as some kind of USB memory and that is it.

I already found a ROM thanks to dragonevo's pointer here. The problem is, I guess, this ROM is in a format to be used when you can boot into Recovery mode. I say "I guess" because I have never got to see Recovery mode on this phone. I am not even sure of the key combination (tried Power & Volume + and Power & Volume -). I am using SP Flash Tool and it looks first for a scatter text file, and several other files that are not in that ROM zip, (only the boot.img is there). And from what I gather all these files also are specific to the phone model.
This is why I raised my original question in this post, so that I could use the ROM found in Flash Tool.

Reminder: when I try the test point, the battery is not present (it cannot be since the board has to be completely dismantled on this phone to access KCOL and GND points. commonwarrior has another phone model but exactly the same board and it has worked for him this way. If I got this right, the battery is not required and Flash Tool (since yesterday I am using the latest supplied by commonwarrior) actually has an option called "Autodetect", which is supposed to work either way, with and without battery). file is in a zip format, so the kind I have seen updating from recovery mode. Only the boot.img file is found out of all the files SP Flash tool looks for. Is there a way I can get the rest of the files for SP Flash Tool from this stock ROM zip including the scatter text?

[update 2013/02/14]
Sorry about vanishing, guys. I actually bumped into a bigger problem. My PC hard disk crashed. Anyway, I recovered my older (and smaller capacity) hard disk and installed it. As to the OS, I have just installed Ubuntu 12.04 + Windows XP as a virtual machine. I am a novice to Ubuntu, so please forgive me if the ending of this story is still delayed as I have other priorities to take care of right now.
Thanks a bunch again to yuweng for the correction for the test point and finally the files to flash from SP Flash Tools. I have downloaded the files and will have another go when I get the chance.
To be continued...
[update 2013/02/18]
I am afraid I am giving up on the Zhou Xing. No matter what test point I try, I never get any response in Flash Tool (I have also tried different versions including the latest one uploaded by commonwarrior).
With all the handling, the flat small cable that runs from the Volume up and down keys is detached from the contacts on the main board and I cannot see how I could weld these back.
So I am closing this chapter on my end. I hope it has been helpful to other people. At least now we have the files to flash from Flash Tools for this phone model. I wish we had found them before I screwed it completely.
Thanks again for all your help, particularly to yuweng and commonwarrior

Sorry, pigu36, I actually never got into Recovery mode. I flashed mine (and softbricked it) with SP Flash Tool.
Regarding the stock ROM, you will find the link in Dragonevo's post.
Maybe in that same thread, somebody will be able to tell you how to get into Recovery mode. As far as I am concerned, I have tried pressing "Power + Volume up" keys, but it has never worked.
Whatever I find out, I will share it here and in the other thread.
Good luck!

Sorry about the confusion, khankll.
This was before I tried to flash something else because I thought it could not get worse and maybe I could flash some kind of Recovery which would allow me to update from the SD card (where I have a copy of the stock ROM in a zip file).
However... things could get worse and they did. The phone is not detected any more even in SP Flash Tool, not charging... well you know the symptoms. So I found the test point thread and fingers crossed with all the advice you guys are helping with
If I am lucky with the test point method, I will still need the type of files SP Flash Tool looks for. Unless you know a way of getting them (converting repacking, I don't know what the right word would be) from the stock ROM zip file.
Model: ZhouXing I9300 MTK6577 Dual Core Android 4.0 3G GPS 4.7 Inch 8.0 MP Camera Smart Phone
Some pics
so what is the update ?
copy all the info in first post so it is easy to keep track of goings so far.
the first thing is that you make it recognizable by pc .
for rom do search at china-iphone.ru forum .. also 4pda.ru ..
try all the connections to be ok .. usb connector should be making proper connection .. try checking continuity b/w the pins inside connector and the point where they attach to pcb.. ( u can attach a thin wire to the probe of multimeter and insert that into usb port .. its hard but possible . i did checked like it ..)
also what is the battery voltage ? is it charged ?

Good news, found your Stock ROM here, credits to Анатолий... :laugh:
it turns out the testpoint KCOL0 & GND is wrong, credits to orx65...
Hopefully, this infos here will be useful for Zhou Xing users to unbrick their device too... :fingers-crossed:
Cheers...
Many, many, thanks for this rare rom. So I was able to unbrick my phone without any hardware experiments. I searched several Weeks!
My only problem is, that there is no touchscreen-response.
Any Idea to solve this problem?
Thanks and regards

Hmmm, could i be that you forgot to install back the Touch Screen panel Flex Ribbon Cable...
Attach example is my friend's Touch Diamond2 9300 i help him replace the Touch Screen panel, hopefully it will be useful as a guide...
Another possibility is that may be this ROM is not for your Zhou Xing... :laugh:
Could you comfirm that the testpoint for your Zhou Xing is KCOL0 & DM

Thanks for the fast response, Yuweng
I have installed back the Ribbon Cable, but not correct and without complete contacts. Now the TouchScreen works, but the touches lands not there where they should. Especially noticeable when using the phone keypad #1-3 = #4-6. I think I have to calibrate the touchscreen, but don't know how.
Second problem: the hardware- (volume up / down) - and sensor buttons (menu, home and back) are without function. I hope I did not damaged the flat cable searching the testpoint.
Your question about the testpoint:
See thread ..... / / forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php? p = 36908056
# 240
The first image shows the backsite of the board. Testpoint for me wars KCOLO & GND to start flashtool download => there is no Point DM.
Greetings
Herby
Hmm, according to orx65 photo on previous page, its definitely not KCOL0 & GND ( the two red dots )....
Big problem ! To calibrate Touch Screen, you need to boot into Factory mode....
Shut down the phone then hold Volume Down, don't let go & press power button until you see that it boots into Factory mode then only let go... :fingers-crossed:
Then it will display all the keys that you need to press once then only you can proceed with the Factory mode calibration...
ESC, BACK, MENU, VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, POWER
Thanks once more!
I first have to repair the definitly broken flat cable for the hardware buttons. It already looked a bit cracked out of delivery.
But my fingers and my soldering iron are to big. :laugh: I must look even if there's a trick!?
Testpoint:
The combination on first picture (with phone 9 ContactPoints) ist KCOLO (2nd row/ center) & GND (first row/ center) worked for me.
It's shown in the picture thereunder.
There is no Contact with DM. 3rd Row right Contact is named DP, but I don't know if this ist what you are looking for.
There is one crazy idea on repairing the Flex Ribbon Cable here with a staple... :laugh:
Can't see it clearly on those photos, so what i meant was : does KCOL0 with DP works, if not then i'll remove the photo on previous page...
... for me only KCOLO & GND works ...
Hey! You don't have ti flash it under a virtual machine. It causes problems. 1st of all, you have to download the stok rom, unpack.it on a pc with a windows installed. Install the.phone.drivers. disassembly the.phone and do a little.test point.to recognize the.flash mode. Run the.flash tool.loading the scatter file of.your stok, start the flashing in all the ports using the Automatic flag in battery section, the Preloader flag under the battery section. Also check.the usb option, just enable.the.Usb and not mpre.connetions kind. Start the flashing.in alk the ports, make.a.little test point and you.will see the loading.flashing.bar sorry for the errors in my typing.thw qwerty touch is very hard to use

Just for the record, I never tried flashing under a virtual machine. The Ubuntu + VirtualBox set up took place after many tests under Windows 7 when my hard disk failed. I may have another go on my laptop (running Windows XP) and if I succeed, I will let you know.
Cheers!

This is a capture for the flash tool settings. In option, leave just the usb flag and disable the RID flags. Just copy all the options you see in this picture and start the flashing in all the ports to be sure.

USB problem?
Hi guys. I few weeks ago I received my Zhou Xing i9300 and everything work great, but now, some days ago it start to no be recognized by my PC.
It simply dont do nothing.
I already try a new USB cable and even try to connect to another PC here i my home, and stay won't working.
Any idea about what possibly happens?
Any help will be veeeeeery appreciated.
This method works only on mini pro ...
Tested on .587 firmware...On a bricked touch .......
This tutorial will show you how to root a phone when your touchscreen is irresponsive/useless and you have to root phone/install recovery on a locked bootloader ...
Requirements:
1.)PC
2.)Phone with working keyboard ..
3.)7Z r Win rar
4.)Knowledge of adb
For Rooting-Installing Recovery a phone on a locked bootloder ,three aspects can be considered ...
A) Enabling USB debugging ....
The major problem in rooting a device without touchscreen is getting to settings to enable USB debugging .,,,without it ,One click Root methods dont work ...
B.)Running Exploit
C.)Pushing the Recovery files ...
The USP of Mini Pro is you can use the arrow keys to navigate phone and the enter key to select ...Thats why rooting is possible ...
Tip: Slide out the keyboard to cancel lockscreen
Navigation :
The screen shots below show how a device is navigated using via arrow keys and the launcher is opened via enter key ...
Basic Navigation :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Accessing System Settings :
Enabling USB debugging :
Mission Accomplished ....
Now use Cydia Impactor or Nabeel's method to Root phone
Cydia Impactor : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399464
Nabeels Method:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219781
For cydia impactor you will need to install superSU manually
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
After rooting is done ,you can use X-parts to install recovery ...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437840
Use
Code:
adb install
to install SuperSU and X-parts
e.g
Code:
adb install x_parts_v7.apk
Basically you can navigate around Xparts to install recovery...
For installing X-parts ,internet is needed
Navigate to settings to use WiFi or Data ...
I might have skipped some stuff ...Since its quite a rare case to have a locked bootloader AND Bricked Touch AND a Mini Pro ,so those few peeps who actually are going to use this tutorial should comment if they encounter any problems ....
Cheers !!

Hi karandpr,
Thanks a lot for your responsiveness. However, but maybe I am missing something, as I have a totally dead screen (but phone still working), I am blind and I need the full key sequence in order to turn on the Debugging mode, using arrows keys.
For instance, once screen unlocked (keyboard open), press :
enter right left left down down down enter (this one is random)
Could you do that?
Thanks again!!

Does not work
I have tried it many times, slowly, adb still does not see any devices :'(
Do you know if sim card is needed ? (i don't think so)
A reboot is needed ? (I don't think so)
Maybe you could describe the keyboard sequence to arrange the sorting option of icons (when entering the icons pages) to "own date" (which is the default), I may have sorted by install date just before my screen went off, although not sure.

I have another method but it's more cumbersome.
Before pressing Enter in above sequence .Press Power + DOWN. You will get a screenshot of your progress(Regards;less the screen is working or not).
Navigate using the screenshots instead .
Clicks screenshots .connect to PC ,check SD card,repeat till you reach USB debugging
Oh yeah great idea!
The screenshot trick is excellent, I see the SD card in windows explorer, I am going to check with that this evening, thanks a lot !
Hi man ,
I am desesperate, the screenshot method does not work... Are sure that Power + down are sufficient? Isn't a saving confirmation message afterwards?
I tried also the rest of the sequence and no result, no devices
The keyboard is working, and I hear the sound when I touch the volume buttons meaning that the phone is responding ... arg!
Screenshot will just save without any confirmation. Are you using MTP/USB Mass Storage? If on UMS then remove cable everytime before you screenshot because phone will not see SD card if it's connected to pc.

Hi Guys!!
I finally made it!
1st of all, the only shortcut that worked for taking screenshot was pressing power button + 4 times DOWN + ENTER.
Then I had to clear the sorting option to get back the configuration menu just on 1st screen. Then take 100 times screenshots of the configuration menu because it was not the same order as the one presented here, connect the SD card each time to verify screenshots... and finally I could activate debugging mode and use [email protected] !!

Thanks a lot all for your help!

If i can't acces not fastboot mode or flash mode? i just stuck with red light when i connect the phone to usb. volume up + cable or volume down + cable don't work.
Same here, I guess the boot is damaged.
Last night i suspected that the battery is dead, so I opened the device and disconnected the battery then tested it with MultiMeter, but the battery was doing fine.
anyway, I tried MTK Droid Tools, SP Flash Tool, SP Multi Port Download, Androxyde Flashtool, Sony PC Companion, All seems not able to detect the device.
in windows Device Manager when i connect the device it's shown as COM port.
When I plug the phone into charger or pc the notification light turns RED.
When I press the power button a faint red light appears in proximity sensor.
That's it.
I'm searching currently for TEST Points for the C5 Ultra Dual, I'm willing to try the "Emergency Flashmode", So, PLZ HELP

I'm fixing the device for a friend of mine, anyway, I have xperia mini pro that I unlocked via testpoint method a long time ago
I searched the internet to look for more info about Testpoints, Is it related to chipset or is it a special mode related to sony devices
anyway I'm willing to figure out the testpoint on E5533 by using the multimeter and see if the test point have some sort of different voltage on the mini pro, then I'll do the same with C5U to locate the test point (If exist at all)
I'll update as soon as i have results
