removing wifi calling out-of-range beep-beep - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have a T-Mobile SM-G900T on Twisted Lollipop v4. I use wifi calling at work and whenever you are almost out of range of the wifi, you get the "Your Call May Drop, you are almost outside the range of wi-fi coverage" and then a very annoying Beep-Beep. I'm trying to get rid of these beeps. I've tried through the wifi app on the application manager by selecting "no notifications". That didn't work. I've tried by going into SYSTEM/MEDIA/AUDIO/UI and have not found any ogg files that sound like this beep. I wonder if this audio file is in another folder, perhaps there is a wifi calling folder?
Does anyone know how to disable this sound? I've searched for the past few weeks about it with no luck. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

One bump for good health

((Q)) att wifi calling on vibrant

So I just trued to download the tmobile wifi calling app
And duhhhhh. I forgot she's on att.
App opened but says there's a sim error.
What can she do?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
The WiFi calling app routes all calls and messaging to T-Mobile's servers, so naturally it won't work on ATT. Uninstall the app, restart, and it should work. Without WiFi calling, I mean.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Lol I figured that much manee
Im asking how to make it work.
3rd party app or something.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
It won't work unless you use T-Mobile, simple as that. Unless ATT has some WiFi calling app I'm not aware of.

unlimited wifi calling on Bionix 3.1 rom

Okay as many of you know Unlimited wifi is back, and I contacted Tmobile to enable it on my lines, but I'm not sure if it's working with my Vibrant as I'm currently running the latest version of Bionix, and I'm not sure it supports the unlimited wifi calling service. I guess I'm suppose to see an icon or something, but I don't. Any one else having this issue?
Get the wifi calling app. Then enable it. Then it will work. The rom you use supports it fully

When I turn that app on it says it's still using minutes. Supposedly this new feature doesn't use minutes.
Bump?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA Premium App
Unlimited Wifi Calling must be added as a feature to your account first. Then the app will not use minutes. Call customer care and have a rep add it, it's free.

It is an added feature. But how do I know its working?

Do you have something that blocks network access, like DroidWall, installed?
EDIT: To clear up - DroidWall has the ability to block an app's access to the network for 3g, wifi, or both. So it's POSSIBLE, if you have it installed, that you have it allowed for 3g, but not for wi-fi.
That said: is it ONLY on your home wi-fi that you get this? Try it on another wi-fi network. Does it work on any other wi-fi network? If so, then if you think there is no firewall on your home wi-fi, then I think you're wrong.
it does not on any wi fi network and I did not installed any kind if firewall app

Not a very large sampling size. I'd try some more.
EDIT: someone else on here was having trouble with a web site on wifi, that worked on 3g. Turned out he had issues with his hosts file. If you're rooted, look in /etc for a hosts file, and see if it has addresses for vlingo in it. I don't know what those addresses might be, you'll have to research that yourself.

the folder is actually created by an apk to prevent ads in games and there are done urls that are redirected to some IP will look if vlingo is in it
EDIT: deleted the file still doesn't work one thing I noticed it gives.error when it hear noises if I don't make any noise then no error it just waits for command

Did you reboot after deleting? (incidentally, you should ALWAYS back up files before you delete them...)

Hmm. Well, SOMETHING is blocking your phone from getting to vlingo's servers when you're on wifi. ... But I've run out of ideas, if you're SURE you don't have a firewall on your home wifi, and you got rid of your/etc/hosts file.
How many other wifi networks have you tried this on now?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I woke up and voila it works with home wi fi . don't know what happened :-D now the market problem remains only. market apps not showing
EDIT: again the problem :'(

Not WiFi calling. I just have WiFi on and connected. I turned off WiFi calling
Sent from my SM-G900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
T mobile doesn't support mms via WiFi. Disable that setting in any 3rd party app.
Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I spoke with a T Mobile rep about this and did some redditing. The problem is MMS in "3rd party" clients which even includes programs like hangouts and text secure. If you're not on their network the picture will not come through because when the server checks your connection it will only see your wifi and it won't think your wifi is authorized to see the picture. T Mobile support was only so helpful, they said they'd consider fixing it in a future patch for the phone so unless you flash a custom ROM you won't get this resolved any sooner. To view the picture turn off wifi for a second. I want a freaking data credit for that bull****. Charge me by the GB then force me to use their connection to use my phone? Boo hiss.

WiFi tethering

I got the root and have tried changing the tether_dun_required string in settings storage and have tried using foxfi and WiFi tether router to get free tethering but none of these methods have worked. If anyone knows a working method I would really appreciate you sharing it. Thanks in advance.
Nevermind I just ran it again without even changing the config and it works. I guess that's not a bad thing but I gave up on that and now it suddenly works...

I am using supersu and wifi tether for root users created by muller, lemons, buxton
All I did was:
1. Change Device Profile - Auto
2. Change Setup-Method - Auto
3 Enable acess control checked it
4.Routing fix checked
5. Vibrate on connect checked
6. Disable wake-lock checked
Here is a fix without a wifi tether app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55707846
I just got my phone yesterday at best buy and couldn't find that post. I rooted my phone and did it my way but will try that way now since it looks so much easier. The wifi tether app you have to restart your phone after turning the app off to get back to normal, thanks for posting that link.
