Hi guys, I have an M8 Android TV box and is working perfectly aside from a little bug/driver issue with my USB Logitech C710 camera. I want to use the camera for Skype/take pictures with regular camera app but the images come out with distorted colors. I tried using different USB ports but the problem persists. Is there any way I can fix the drivers manually so that the picture looks like normal? I tried the camera with my laptop and it works fine. I also installed every known camera app in the playstore and the only one that used the camera normal was Snapexwebcam. If anyone can help me and need more information to reach a solution please let me know.
Thank You for your time
Respectfully, XianLen
PS: My TV Box is rooted

Hi all,
i had my Huawei MediaPad S7-301u since couple of weeks.
i use DSLR Controller and Helicon Remote from the market and it has worked OK.
that time i used the stock ROM and i tried OsiMood . both were OK and i used it for making time lapse. it was really OK until yesterday.
both apps can't detect my camera on both roms...i also tried the HWMOD rom, but it also can't detect the camera, it says only that no camera is found.
I tried my friend's camera, same model like mine, it can't detect it as well, i tried to reinstall the app, it doesnt work ...
any idea?
thank you in advance
Hello,
I tested this superb and new OS on a PC ASUS N61-JQ but apparently
the application "Camera" seems not to work with the integrated camera!
Yet it seems that the latter works on Skype but the picture is completely up upside down. I think this must be a driver problem.
Both PERISCOPE has all functions of the app seems to work except the video streaming makes the application crash.
Is there a solution to run on PERISCOPE REMIX OS?
thank you for your reply

I just test again with "skype" to confirm
Video is not sent from the PC, but the corresponding video appears
Video appears upside down because I downloaded an application to see if the camera worked because the application provided by basic bones remix does not work

I too have the same "issues" with Periscope. The camera video is upside down too, and most USB webcams do not work. Periscope crashes when trying to do live video broadcast.
That is a problem caused by not having an accelerometer (etc) device to tell the OS "which way is up"
Is there ANYONE that has success with live video broadcasting with the periscope app? If so, what PC are you using, and what USB webcam has anybody had success with?
In anticipation guys! REMIX OS.....FANTASTIC software!!!!
cheers
John

Jean Pierre, double click mouse or go to "rear" camera icon, click it....my video was then the right way up....
Love to get periscope live video broadcast glitches fixed.
That would be fantastic.

Hey guys,
Ive been facing a lil problem.
Ive been trying to get a image to display when i open the camera. Like manycam does.
Now Nox uses my host PC's webcam and i used manycam on host pc to display that image on the webcam.
Now the problem arises that the picture im trying to show on camera gets zoomed in and there for pixelated.
This is probably because the host pc's resolution is different, or something along those lines.
Is there a fix? All im aiming for is that when i open the camera function on nox player, it virtually gets changed to show the picture of my choice instead of the actual camera function, without stretching or deformation of any kind to the image.
Hope i can find some help here on this great forums !
Have a wonderfull day!
Anyone? I really need this
Hello Everyone,
Sorry in advance if a post about this issue exist already, am new to this and trying to find my way around.
I just purchased an Elephone S8 and I was very excited with the price. BUT now I am regretting. One of my major issue is that during Whatsapp video calls, if I switched from the facing camera to the rear camera (showing off work to customers for a quick response), the images are actually vertically inverted. I thought inverting the phone upside down would fix it but it's the same
I have tried fast reboot, uninstall app, clean cache everything I can find on the net. Please I need some help.
Thank you
Hi everyone,
I (ecological reason) bought a Fairphone 4.
It's really not what I expect from a phone so I am looking to update some apps.
The main issue I get is this one on Camera.
Fairphone 4 doesn't allow to record video from the wide angle camera... Yeah... WTF !!!
It seems to be described on the sepcs, but why ??? How a camera can be reduced to not recording video ?
My old LG G6 does it with wide camera.
Whatever, I tried to use other apps as Open Camera, HD Camera and others but I doesn't find a way to switch, even for picture mode, from the main camera to the wide one.
Do you have any idea of which app I may use ?
Thank you
buy that phone yesterday, have the same problem! By any chance, do you find some solution? Also i want to change from defalutOS to calyxos, but again - big issue inside camera.
